A teasing guy, Luhan who loves Sundae and a noisy and boyish Jiyeon who loves Coke. Will coke and sundae will be able to be together forever? 

“Bye guys!”

“Bye gege~” Sehun cooed, waving the hardest while sending Luhan out of their apartment. Sehun was his friend in Korea.

Luhan met Sehun randomly, out in the streets, when Luhan just reached Korea.

Sehun, being the helpful guy, introduced him to his friends too, and even brought him around Korea to familiarize himself since he will be staying for good.

In return, Luhan taught Sehun Chinese – since the latter wanted to learn it badly.

They had been best friends ever since.

Now that Luhan had been in Korea for almost six years, he had his own apartment from his earnings from a stable job he found.

He came to Korea to further studies initially, and intended to return to China after he had finished his studies.

But the conditions in Korea were way better than in China, so he chose to stay longer.

No one cared too – since he had no one in China. His relatives left him alone after his parents passed away.

He was alone.

But thanks to Sehun and friends, he wasn’t alone anymore.

Luhan strolled down the empty dark street, stopping by at the nearest convenience store to get his favourite sundae, before walking down the empty streets again – just to get back to his apartment.

Yes, his apartment was only two blocks away from Sehun’s apartment.

It was so convenient.

Luhan opened the cover happily as he stick his tongue out, drooling at the sight of the sundae right in front of his eyes.

That was his favourite.

If you asked what his favourite food was, he will say sundae.

Favourite dessert? Sundae.

Favourite drink? Sundae.

Anything related to food, he will reply his favourite sundae, no matter what.

Luhan took in the first bite blissfully, before turning around the corner.

But the next moment was a chaos.

Within seconds, he found his ice-cream on the ground, toppled over, with the ice cream flowing out freely.

Beside it was a broken glass bottle of coke.

Luhan was so mad.

That was his favourite food!

No one mess with his food!

Luhan could feel his breath increasing as he tilted his head up to face the person who knocked his sundae down.

But to his surprise, the girl was having the same reaction.

“YAH! THAT’S MY LAST BOTTLE OF COKE!”

Luhan turned mad again. “YAH! THAT’S MY ICE CREAM TOO! SHOULDN’T YOU APOLOGIZE RATHER THAN YELLING AT ME?!”

“YOU KNOCKED ME DOWN! YOU KNOCKED MY COKE DOWN! WHY SHOULD I APOLOGIZE?!”

“BECAUSE YOU KNOCKED ME DOWN! I DIDN’T KNOCK YOU!”

“YOU DID!”

“NO I DID NOT!”

“YES YOU DID!”

“NO! NO! NO!”

“YES! YES! YES!”

Luhan didn’t reply, but instead, he was glaring at her.

She too, was glaring back at him equal dangerously.

“RETURN ME MY COKE/SUNDAE!” They shouted at the same time, but only to flinch back the next moment since they said the same thing.

“YAH!” And once again, they said it at the same time.

The girl cleared as she calmed down, “Fine then! Let’s forget about this. I knocked you down and you knocked me down. Goodbye.”

Luhan wanted to argue, but she was already gone.

But to think about it, she was right.

He was at fault too, since he was looking only at his sundae.

Oh well, both were at fault.

He decided to let it go too.

Luhan stared at his sundae sadly, for a little longer, before heading back to his apartment. The convenience store was too far away, hence he didn’t even think about returning to get a new sundae.

Forget it.

He will get another cup the next day.

Luhan took the lift up to his level and walked over to his door.

He punched in his pass-code, but his eyes caught the door next to his again.

“Has the new tenant come in?” Luhan whispered to himself, only he could hear. He was curious alright.

The previous tenant left, and a new tenant bought it – from what he heard from the neighbours.

But it has been a week since it was empty.

He was so curious who his neighbour was.

Luhan shrugged his shoulders, trying not to think about it anymore, but the lift opened at that moment.

Luhan turned around, being curious of who came back, only to find the ‘coke-lady’ behind him.

“YOU!”

The lady dropped her bag with her jaws opened. “YOU!”

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? ARE YOU A STALKER?!”

“WHAT?! ME? STALKER?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” The girl roared, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? HUH? THIS IS MY APARTMENT! ARE YOU STALKING ME?!”

Luhan widened his eyes when he saw where her fingers were pointing. “THIS?! THIS IS YOUR APARTMENT?!”

“YES! SO WHAT IT IS?!”

“Oh God… Oh God… This is so bad…”

“WHAT?!”

Luhan narrowed his eyes, only to glare at her again. “This is my apartment, woman. Mind your own business and don’t even disturb me.”

“Psh. Just my luck.”

“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!”

“NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, JERK!” The girl roared again before entering her apartment, slamming the door behind her hardly.

Luhan too, wouldn’t lose.

He walked into his apartment and slammed his door – even harder than she did.

“PSH! LOSER!”

Luhan heard it alright. But he chose to ignore that.

He showered, read a book, and finally got ready to take a good night sleep. But right when his head reached his pillow, the girl blasted her music out loud.

Luhan rolled his eyes before pulling another pillow to cover his ears, but it was just too loud for his liking.

He couldn’t take it anymore.

Luhan stormed over to her apartment and rang her bell countless times, until she opened the door. “What do you want, jerk?”

“Lower your volume, woman.”

“Why should I?”

“It’s already 11PM. Get it into your thick skull, kid.”

“I’M NOT A KID!”

“Yes you are, childish kid. Turn the volume down!”

“NO!”

“Turn it down or I’ll call the police.”

“And what? Sue me? For disturbing you? For listening to my music?”

“Yes.”

“Like they care!” The girl laughed it off before slamming the door on his face again.

Luhan couldn’t lose.

He rang the bell once more, countless times again until she came for it. “WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW?!”

Luhan stormed into her apartment instead.

He pushed her away and walked over to her radio system just to get it off.

“YAH! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!”

“Doing our neighbours a good deed.”

“I NEED THE MUSIC TO SLEEP!”

“Use an earpiece then.”

“I DON’T HAVE ONE!”

“I can lend it to you.”

“I DON’T LIKE IT!”

Luhan turned to the girl abruptly and pushed her against the wall, surprising her at once. “Shout once more,
