“What game?” That caught his attention, totally. He was always the playful type.

“Know who Jiyeon is?”

“Park Jiyeon? The fat nerd?”

“Get her to be your girl for a week.”

“Why should I do that? Why can’t Jong do it? Or Taemin?”

Key smirked, “Because you have the highest potential to do this.”

“She seems less interested in you.”

“And what makes you think so?”

“She’s always avoiding eye contact with you. She doesn’t even spare you a second. And yet you’re the only one among us who has the most lessons with her.”

“Can’t find a reason huh?”

Minho rolled his eyes, but he agreed in the end. “Fine. I’ll do it. I’ll let you guys know when I caught her heart. But what will I get?”

“I’ll get you a motorbike.”

“I’ll get you an arcade machine for you to put at your house.”

“I’ll get you a cycling machine.”

“I’ll get you a running track.”

“This is so deal.” Minho was so in. Those prizes were so attractive since he was just an athletic. Of course he would want them. Moreover, he only had to spend a week with the fat nerd.

One week, and he will have those he wished for.

Minho started approaching the girl during lessons first. “Hi, Jiyeon!” He greeted her every morning, every lesson, whenever they had lessons together.

Jiyeon was flustered at the beginning, and she was so shy since everyone was talking about it.

She didn’t reply though.

But as days went by, she started giving reaction to him.

She found it rude not to reply too, so she nodded her head in return, or sometimes, she would even reply a ‘hi’ too.

Minho smiled widely, happily, but he was smirking inside. *Bingo.*

When he felt that it was time, he started talking to her. He approached her whenever they had free time, and started opening topics to her.

“Jiyeon-ah!”

Jiyeon could only send him a small smile. She was shy alright. A handsome prince sitting by her side, when the seat was empty for the past few years.

“How are you today? Feeling good? I’m so energized!”

Once again, Jiyeon smiled.

“Did you have breakfast?”

This time, she nodded her head with a shy smile.

“What did you eat? I had bacons and eggs! What about you?”

She spoke.

For the first time, she spoke in school. “I had pancakes.”

“That’s so cool! Did you make them? I had my omma made it for me though!”

Jiyeon shook her head though, indicating he was wrong. “I had my omma made it for me too.”

“I guess we’re the same huh?” Minho laughed, but he was frowning inside. *I won’t ever want to be the same as you, nerd.*

Teacher arrived soon, and they became quiet.

However, Minho started sending small notes to her, and she replied whenever the teacher wasn’t looking at them.

It was fun.

To Jiyeon, she never had so much fun during lessons before.

But to Minho, it was all a game.

Days went on, and they became closer to each other. Sometimes, Minho didn’t realize it but he was with Jiyeon for lunch, rather than be with his friends.

He would give his excuse as ‘trying to be closer to her’ but he found himself enjoying the time spent with her.

That was just an excuse to lie to himself, and to his friends.

He just wasn’t sure what he was feeling though.

But nonetheless, he had his lunch with Jiyeon quite often as days went by.

Jiyeon opened up to him. She turned into a new girl. She wasn’t the quiet and shy girl anymore. Jiyeon felt a little more confident in herself, and she realized the feelings for Minho grew.

Yes, she always harbored a feeling for Minho.

Ever since she saw him during her first year in school, in class, she fell for him.

But Jiyeon kept it to herself, of course. She dared not tell anyone about it.

In the past, she was shy whenever Minho was around her. Even when Minho walked past her with his group of friends, she would avoid him at all cost.
