Due to T-ara's bullying controversy, the girls had to halt their schedules to Korea and head to Japan instead. Jiyeon, who has a secret relationship with Infinite's L for 8 months already, had been busy so they only contacted each other through cell phones. Myungsoo, who's not satisfied to his interactions with his girlfriend, turn his attention to this girl he just met Doyeon. They dated behind Jiyeon's back, which his co-members always scolded to him. Jiyeon has no idea about it since L always sent her sweet messages like before. T-ara N4 soon came back to Korea and Jiyeon planned to surprise L only to be surprised instead for him cheating on her with that plastic girl. She broke up with him immediately 'coz it's hurting her big-time. So back in Japan, Jiyeon decided to cut her hair short 'coz she always remember him whenever she's seeing her long wavy hair he used to say he loved about her. L's relationship with Doyeon did not last long for they got caught by netizens and he knew her true colours. Soon, T-ara came back to Korea for their group's comeback Number 9. Ji & L finally saw each other after their sudden breakup just months ago. Myungsoo admitted he's so much of a jerk for cheating on her and he wanted her back, but Jiyeon just talked to him casually like he's some kinda stranger. He's getting jealous day by day seeing her so close with EXO especially Luhan, Chanyeol & Sehun who's her idol fanboys (L heard them talking once admiring Jiyeon), but he had to fight the urge to snatch her away from them since he's no longer her boyfriend. “Myung…” Jiyeon walked up to the guy who had waited for her, for 10 minutes.

“Ji, you’re here!”

Jiyeon pouted sadly and buried her head into his chest, rubbing it to find comfort. Myungsoo laughed at her behaviour as he her head, “What’s wrong?”

“Myung…”

“Hmm?”

“Will you hate me because I’m a bully now?”

“What are you talking about, baby? I know you’re not.”

“But everyone thinks I am…”

“I know you not, and that’s the most important, isn’t it?”

Jiyeon finally smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist, squeezing him tightly, “Myung~ Myung~ Myung~ I miss you!”

“You changed so fast.”

“MYUNG!”

“I miss you too~” Myungsoo landed a kiss on her lips, and she finally smiled again.

“But Myung…”

“Hmm?”

“Because of this stupid controversy, T-ara has to go to Japan…”

“For how long?”

“I’m not sure too… We’ll be promoting there. I’m not sure when it will ends too. Maybe when the situation in Korea turned better.”

Myungsoo frowned and cupped her face, her cheeks gently, “Baby, you don’t want a break up do you?”

“NO!” Jiyeon exclaimed hurriedly and wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face into his neck then, “NO WAY! I’M NOT LETTING YOU GO!”

“Thank goodness.” Myungsoo patted her back before wrapping his arms around her too, “It’s okay. We can always call each other and video call each other. It’ll be the same!”

“Really? You mean it?”

“Of course, baby.” Myungsoo pecked her head and leaned his chin on top of it happily, “It’ll be the same! And it’s our 8 months together today!”

“RIGHT!” Jiyeon pulled back and took a box out from her bag, “Happy 8 months, Myung!”

Myungsoo smiled and took it, trying to open it but Jiyeon stopped him at once. “Open it at home, Myung! I’ll be shy!”

“Whatever you say, baby.” He kept the box and took her hands, “It’s my turn to surprise you~”

He brought her down to Gangnam, and they walked around the streets happily, in disguise, and he even brought her to a movie, and they ended in the restaurant near their apartment.

Three days later, T-ara moved to Japan for further promotions. Of course, Myungsoo couldn’t send her off, but he did send her a call.

They ended it well, and Jiyeon was told to call him once she reached.

Myungsoo had always been a good boyfriend to her. Jiyeon was a good partner too! He waited for her and she too, would wait for him during their dates if they were late. They helped each other out, and leaned on each other comfortably.

When one’s sad, they would find the other one at once.

They seemed to know their feelings well, even better than how they knew their own feelings.

Jiyeon finally touched down in Japan, and she called Myungsoo at once, “Myung! I’m in Japan now! It’s so cold here~”

“Really? It’s cold?! I wish I could be there to hug you and give you warmth. It’s cold in Korea too, I need you baby.”

“Myung~~~”

“Don’t cry, baby. We’ll see each other soon.”

Jiyeon stopped at once and they chatted a little longer before T-ara called her over. “Unnie~ Can’t I speak a little longer?!”

“No, maknae. Come over now! It’s late! The van’s waiting!”

Jiyeon sighed and returned to her phone, “I have to go, Myung. I’ll call you again! Wait for my call!”

“Of course, baby. I’ll miss you.”

“I’ll miss you more, Myung!”

“No, I’ll miss you more!”

“No, Myung! I’ll miss you more~~”

“PARK JIYEON!”

“Oops… I really have to go now.”

Myungsoo laughed and shooed her, “Bye, baby. Love you.”

“Love you too, Myung! Bye~”

They finally hung the call up.

Jiyeon ran to her members and smiled sheepishly, trying to hide away her wrongdoings, “Let’s go, unnie~”

“Next time, call at home babo. You can talk all you want to~”

“Yes, yes~” Jiyeon sang and ran to the van, leaving the members chuckling at her actions. They headed off to the apartment they had in Japan, and finally settled in.

Jiyeon called Myungsoo once she was ready to sleep, and they chatted the whole night instead.

It had always been like this.

T-ara’s promotions increased, as well as Infinite’s. They were both busy and the calls turned lesser, only messages.

Their messages were, however, too sweet.

Once, Woohyun caught a reply on his phone, and read it at once since Myungsoo was in the washroom. “Oh my god! These two…!”

“What?!” Hoya sat by his side and looked at it too. “Wow! They’re so mushy!”

Dongwoo read it too, and shivered. “Too sweet! You’re better than them, Woo!”

Myungsoo rely to find them laughing at his messages. He snatched his phone over and glared at them before returning to his message. The smile returned again.

“Myung, I didn’t know you could be this mushy~”

“Yeah! I love you more than how fishes need water, and more than how plants need sunlight. KYAHHHHHH!”

“HYUNG!” Myungsoo took the cushion and smacked it hard on Woohyun’s head, “If it’s mushy, then don’t read it again!”

Myungsoo returned to his room and the trio started laughing like hyenas.

It was so sweet, yet Jiyeon loved it. She too, would reply similar texts to him.

However, as days went by, Myungsoo felt the dissatisfactory in him.

He needed the physical touch.

He needed someone by his side.

He needed to feel them.

Jiyeon was far, and he wanted someone near.

By chance, he bumped into a girl as he exited the café, “Oh, I’m sorry!”

The girl smiled sweetly and shook her head, “It’s okay. I’m fine.”

“Still…”

“Well… If you’re so sorry about it, why don’t you treat me a coffee?” She nodded her head towards the café, and Myungsoo smiled at once, “Why not?”

He’s in disguise, so he thought she won’t recognize him, but she did. Because it was all her plans.

They chatted for a while, and found lots of things in common. “Oh man. I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Kim Doyeon.”

Myungsoo smiled and took his sunglasses down, “Know who am I?”

Doyeon pretended to be surprised, “I saw you on TV before!”

“Well, yes. I’m Infinite’s member, L. Kim Myungsoo.”

“Right! You looked so familiar!” Doyeon smiled.

“You’re not going to tell the media anything, right?”

“Of course not! I’m not interested! I promise I’ll keep it a secret.”

They exchanged numbers, and Myungsoo returned home with a happy heart. He left his phone on the table and went to the washroom, and Woohyun took it again.

“Soo! There’s a message from Jiyeon! She said she’s back home and she can’t wait to video call with you!”

Myungsoo walked out from the washroom as he pulled his home shirt down his body, “Help me text her saying I’m not free.”

Woohyun frowned and did as told, “But you are free.”

Myungsoo ignored him and went to the kitchen to grab a cup of water as he whistled. Woohyun’s frown turned deeper when he saw how happy he was. He was about to ask him again, but a text came in from his phone.

*Kim Doyeon? Who’s this?*

Without Myungsoo’s consent, he still went into the message. *Myungsoo! I’m so glad I met you at the café just now. Thanks for the café! If you would like to, shall we meet up again?*

*Okay, this is so obvious.* Woohyun eyed Myungsoo, *And this bastard is gonna cheat on Jiyeon?!*

Myungsoo walked over and snatched his phone over, “Ahh! Hyung! You saw my message?!”

“Who’s Doyeon?”

“Someone I just knew!”

“And you’re happy you met her?! Who the hell is she?!”

“She’s just a friend, and she said she won’t tell it to the media she saw me at the café. We just talked, and we got lots in common though. It’s just a normal date.”

“NORMAL DATE?!” Woohyun raged, “YOU HAVE THE FACE TO SAY THAT?!”

“What’s wrong with that?!”

“YOU’RE DATING JIYEON FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE! WHAT A JERK!”

“HYUNG! I’M NOT EVEN CHEATING!”

“WELL, YOU INTENDED TO!” Woohyun went to his room and slammed his door shut. Feeling the anger boiling in him, Myungsoo went into his room and slammed his door shut too.

Myungsoo looked at his phone, and smiled once again as he replied Doyeon.

It went on for days, and Doyeon was the one who asked him out. Myungsoo, feeling the need for a physical girlfriend, agreed and went out with her.

They went on some dates, and Myungsoo was happy to have a physical girl by his side.

He still texted Jiyeon as usual, and Jiyeon never once suspected him to waver.

“Jiyeon, Hyomin, Eunjung, Ahreum! You girls will be in a sub-unit and it’ll be called T-ara N4.”

“Will we be promoting here too?” Jiyeon asked her manager, full of hope.

“Nope. In Korea. You’ll be flying back tomorrow to prepare back in Korea.” Jiyeon squealed like a mad kid and hugged everyone in the room.
