"Hyemin!" Hyemin looked up to see Jiyeon sit next to her where Changsub usually sits. The thing is, Changsub was absent. 

"Jiyeon, what's up?"

Jiyeon gave her a smile, "I feel like we never talk! We used to be so close last year, let's catch up!"

Hyemin smiled, "Yeah, sure. So, what's up?"

"I'm good. How's life?" 

Hyemin laughed, "Life is good. How's life for you?"

"Good, good! It's good as well. So, I hear you and Myungsoo are like a thing?"

Hyemin cleared , "Well no, not exactly. We're not a thing. I mean, I find him attractive and all and I could see myself with him but I'm not sure if I like him like him, you know?"

Jiyeon nodded her head, "So it is true." 

"What's true?" Hyemin asked.

Jiyeon looked her in the eye with a serious expression, "That you like Changsub."

Hyemin's eyes widened. She awkwardly laughed, "W-What? Where did you hear that?"

"It's obvious that you like him. The thing is, I like him too."

"I-I-I don't though. I don't like him." Hyemin said.

Jiyeon smiled, "So that means I can tell him that I like him?" 

Hyemin started coughing uncontrollably. "What?"

"I'm gonna tell him that I like him. Hopefully he likes me back. I'll see you later, bye!" Jiyeon stood up and exited the room.

Hyemin let out a deep sigh. She didn't want Jiyeon to confess to Changsub. Who was she trying to fool, she had feelings for him.

The next day, Changsub was awkward around Hyemin.

"Hey, I need to tell you something." He said.

Hyemin looked at him, "What is it?" She asked.

He cleared his throat. He wasn't sure if he should tell her or not. "Nah, never mind. It's nothing."

"Please, tell me!" Hyemin said. "You can't leave me hanging like this."

He let out a laugh, "Well, in first period Jiyeon told me something."

Hyemin felt herself freeze up. "Oh. What did she say?"

"She said that a friend of hers liked me. But then she told me not to go for her friend because she also likes me." He looked into Hyemin's eyes. "Do you want to know who that friend is?" He asked.

Hyemin shook her head, "No, it's fine. Well, Jiyeon likes you, what are you going to do about it?"

"I don't know. I don't like her like that but who knows. We've been getting closer and there's no doubt that I could see myself liking her or something."

Hyemin didn't know what to say. She tried keeping her expression as calm as possible but she felt as if her true feelings were peaking through. 

"Well, good luck with whatever you choose to do."

Changsub looked at her trying to analyze her, "So, you and Myungsoo?" He asked.

Hyemin grew frustrated, "Why does everyone assume that I like him?!" She snapped. 

"Well you two-" Hyemin cut him off.

"Just- Just stop asking about him." She put her ear buds in and began doing her work.
