Description
Donghae is the new kid at school. Moving from Mokpo to Seoul, Donghae is immediately branded the ‘nerdy country boy’, a very unoriginal name, I know. Having been used to only attending public school, Donghae discovers many things in the world of a private school, not to mention a prestigious one. But it isn’t like any usual private school. From students playing Starcraft in the school bathroom, drinking soju with a can of tuna to a helmet wearing student, Donghae coincidentally finds himself immersed in a situation he didn’t think possible.
“I’m not gay.”
“I never said you were, now did I?”

Donghae’s eyebrows were furrowed together, his hand on his chin and his pencil in his hand. He was currently in a showdown with his worst nemesis, calculus. The poor thing didn’t see it coming, but Donghae did. He smirked and pushed his glasses up with his forefinger and chuckled evilly as he finished the last question in the textbook.
In other words, Donghae had no life outside of school. His social life revolved around math, science, and literature.
He stretched his arms out in front of him and glanced over at his calendar. Why do I get the sudden feeling I’m forgetting something?
The 19th was circled with red sharpie and had the words, “First day of school” in it. And the 19th was tomorrow. Oh Figgie sticks; I completely forgot.
He risked a glanced at the clock and saw it was fifteen minutes into his curfew, and he quickly got up and ran into the bathroom. He washed his face (after taking his glasses off of course) and brushed his teeth, while at the same time, he took off his polo and sweater vest off, leaving him in his white wife beater undershirt and his pants. Strange how someone like him can be so ripped under all that.
He checked the time again. Now it was twenty five minutes into his curfew and Donghae turned off his lamp and opened a crack in the window to let some fresh air into the stuffy and overheated room. He climbed into bed and pulled the covers over his head.
After a few moments, Donghae was already entering dreamland.
But it was only 7:27. And he forgot to floss after brushing. Oh the thug life!
