A few moments later, Ji Eun was just sitting on a wooden chair in front of a mirror. Her elbows are resting on the table while her head is placed on her hands. “Ugh, is it normal to feel this bored all the time?” She growls.

“Yes.”

A small voice boomed out behind her, making her flinched. She looked at her side to see who could it be and to her surprise, it was an owl, resting on her opened window. It was Wimsy, the talking owl.

“Oh it’s you.” Ji Eun spoke as she stands up and drag the chair towards the window.

“Hello” Wimsy greeted as she bows with her wings.

Wimsy is the only owl that’s not afraid of Ji Eun. Well, because that owl is a badass too so they get along with each other a lot. She delivers messages to Ji Eun if someone wants to meet her or if Ji Eun has an upcoming appointment with the other villains.

“What brings you here?” Ji Eun asks while giving Wimsy a piece of bread.

Wimsy took a peck at the bread before responding, “Just want to give you some few messages.”

“Say it”

“Well I want you to know that Mr. Wong, the big bad wolf is very disappointed to you.” Wimsy said as she scratches her head using her claw. “He didn’t ruin the girl’s day.” She added.

Ji Eun rolled her eyes, “Pft. It’s not my fault. That little red riding hood girl is very clumsy.”

“Oh really…” Wimsy muttered as she grimaces.

Ji Eun huffed, “What? You don’t believe me?”

“Not until you tell me what exactly happened.” Wimsy dictated.

“Hey look stupid Wimsy, I did my best to convince that freakin’ little red riding hood girl but she keeps telling me that she needs to see her grandmother…and in the end, I got tired of convincing her so I gave up and went back home.” Ji Eun pointed out.

“Then that tells me that you didn’t do your best.” Wimsy said.

Ji Eun just rolled her eyes and thought that Wimsy is actually right.

“Well…Just want you to know that these past few days, you’re getting lazy now when it comes to evil schemes.” Wimsy added.

Ji Eun stayed quiet as she looks from afar, thinking deeply while sadness occupies her eyes.

“Anyway, where’s your lovely sister?” Wimsy questioned, sensing that Ji Eun is getting uncomfortable.

“She went to the castle.” Ji Eun replied.

Wimsy nodded, “Oh yeah right…By the way, Ms. Chummy the witch wants to see you today.”

“I’ll try to come.” Ji Eun replied. They bade goodbye to each other and Wimsy flew away.

Ji Eun stood up and closed the window.

Sighing, she thought to herself, another appointment.

She stands before the mirror and debated if she’ll see Ms. Chummy the witch. It’s just that she wants be unproductive today.

She nodded to herself and opened her closet, trying to look for a nice outfit. She decided to stroll around the village and visit her parents before meeting Ms. Chummy the witch.

She realized that almost all of her clothes are dark and for the first time in her life, she cursed herself for choosing black clothes, maybe because black fits for a villain.

But there was something about Ji Eun today. She was trying to know what it feels like to be just a normal girl who loves goodness. Wait what?! She actually thought that?

“Argh!” Ji Eun huffed as she searches for clothes. Black dresses and red cloaks were scattered all around the floor. For the first time in her life, she doesn’t find red and black as an awesome color.

Suddenly, Ji Eun glances at the other closet. It was Juniel’s closet.

A smile crept on her face as she walks towards the closet. Maybe it’s not that bad to wear some clothes of Juniel.

As she opened the closet, there was this feeling that Juniel is watching her.

Her eyes glimmered, scanning the colorful clothes of her sister. It was absolutely wonderful. She didn’t even think that she finds the light colors attractive.

After picking some clothes, she went straight off the bathroom.

After a few hours, Ji Eun is facing the mirror, smiling.

“Absolutely stunning…” She whispers.

She grabbed a basket and her keys and opened the door, feeling the friendly breeze of the wind brushing her skin.

She locked the door knob and started to take her steps. She gathered a lot of confidence to enter the busy streets of the village and tried to ignore the stares of the people.

“Just act like a normal woman Ji Eun…” She thought to herself when suddenly, something bumped her feet. Ji Eun looked down and realized that it was a ball. She bends down as she picks it up and saw a little boy running towards her.

“Is this yours?” Ji Eun asks as she bends her knees to be like the boy’s height.

The little boy nodded. She hand it to him, making the boy smile.

“Thank you mis—“

“”Jun! Come here!” A woman with brown hair tied up in a bun said, probably the boy’s mother.

She grabbed his wrists and sneered at Ji Eun, making her flinched. The two of them turned around, “Stay away from that evil woman understood?” The mother whispers to the boy. Even though it’s just barely registered as a whisper, Ji Eun heard it, making her frown.

As she took her steps, Ji Eun senses that a lot of people are glaring at her but she tries to ignore them.

She tapped her fingers on her chin, “Now what shall I buy for papa and mama?” she thought.

Looking at her right side, she saw a stall of apples with seven customers.

“That’s it…apples would be great.” She said to herself and went towards the stall of apples.

When the customers noticed that Ji Eun is walking towards them, they quickly scampered away, making the seller huffed in disbelief.

Ji Eun was about to grab an apple when the seller speaks, “Well well well…What’re you doing here miss evil?”

Ji Eun rolled her eyes, ignoring the obese seller. “Get away from my stall! You’re making me lose my customers!”

Ji Eun stiffed and at last, she realized that ignoring the people’s glares is impossible for her to do. And after a few moments, she went away and left the busy market of the village.

“What’s the matter with them? I only want some apples…” Ji Eun mumbles and decided to go to the woods since fresh strawberries can be found there. Besides, it’s better to look for fruits in the woods than to buy in the market for Ji Eun.

When she finally reached her destination, she quickly picks some strawberries and put it in her basket.

“There you go. I hope mama and papa will like these.” Ji Eun said and went straight to her parents’ house.

I knocked on the door of their house and mama was the one who opened it.

Her eyes widen in surprise, “Ji Eun!”

I smiled and realized that I’m really missing them then out of the blue, papa appeared and gave me a hug too.

“I brought some strawberries for you.” I said while handling them the basket.

“That’s so sweet of you dear. How’s Juniel?” Mom asks as she pours hot milk on a cup.

“She’s doing great. Actually, she went to the castle today.”

“We know..She went here first before going to the castle.” Papa said.

“Really? That’s good.” I replied and took a sip of hot milk.

I didn’t stay for long because I want some quiet time. So I bade goodbye to my parents and decided to go to my favorite spot.
