“Coffee?” someone snugged a cup of coffee from the back of Lay, making him turned his head to the person. Lay was kind of surprised but also happy as soon as he saw the person.

“What’s this? Bid me a goodbye? Or… Oh…” Lay stopped his glance at the luggage that appeared beside Kris. “You’re coming along with me to Seoul, huh?”

Kris smirked to him, slightly nodded while sipping his latte. “It’s been a while since I visited there…”

“Excuse” Lay chuckled as he sipped the coffee that Kris brought for him. “Oh, wait a minute” Lay took his phone and dialed a number. Kris looked at him with curiosity, but decided to wait for Lay to give the explanation to him.

“Dude, we won. Tell Chen to prepare the money, he’s with me now... We’re going to Seoul together” Lay said to Tao as he winked to Kris. Kris chuckled and laughed, he’s being a bet again. He playfully punched Lay’s arm, earned a groan from Lay.

“Tao said good luck to you”

“Good luck? What for?”

Lay pouted to Kris. “Well, I don’t know. Maybe you’ll need a good luck from all of us? Aren’t you going to do something there?” Lay gave a sneaky look to Kris.

“What something?”

“Like… confessing?”

Kris gulped the hot latte too fast; he choked and wiped his mouth with the napkin.

“Calm, Dude... Chill out” Lay said as he lightly tapped Kris’ shoulder, smiling with excitement.

Kris thought about what Lay said to him. To his sense, he’s actually randomly called the office secretary and asked a help to reserve the flight and hotel room for 3 days in Seoul. And that’s not supposed to be made sense. He decided to spend his weekend in Seoul, with Nana. But, what’s his purpose, what would he do in Seoul? He vaguely had the answer. Even when he finally arrived in Seoul, he still didn’t know what to do.

He just wanted to see Nana.

And that’s exactly what he did as he waited in front of her office. He rarely had a sleep the day before due to the time difference when he arrived in Seoul and had to spend the morning alone, as Lay already heading to the office for the meeting. He’s freaking sleepy, but then the thought of Nana excited him. Kris has no idea why would he do this far just for the sake of a girl whom he met 3 months ago; he needed more time to reassure his feeling.

But once she saw Nana, in her dazed and awed expression upon seeing him in front of her, Kris knew what’s this all about. He’s in love, with Nana.

“So, surprised?” he asked her. He wanted to hug her actually, but it might scare her, but obviously, Kris couldn’t hide his excitement over seeing her.

“You came? Oh God! Why didn’t you tell me?” she’s still surprised but managed to handle it. She came nearer to him, making sure that she’s not being delusional. “I mean… Uh…How to say? I thought… You’re in LA?” Nana expressed her confusion.

“Well, I’m here” Kris said, spreading a big smile to her.

“And what are you doing here, Kris? Meeting?”

To tell you that I love you.

“Umm... Just taking a day off”

Nana dropped her jaws bigger than previously. “You suddenly take a day off in Seoul?”

“Yeah, I randomly book a ticket for my day off, and the one to Seoul was just easy to get, so I booked it” Kris smoothly replied, allowing Nana to walk beside him.

Lie. It’s so hard to get a ticket to Seoul with the date that he requested; the secretary even had to look for 3 tour agencies in order to get the ticket that he wanted.

“Wow… I wish I had more days off to take…” she said with envy. “Anyway, do you have any relatives here? Where are you staying?” she asked as she looked at him. Kris was off guard and not ready with any answer, he’s absent-mindedly replied with a yawn. A big one.

“Kris, are you sleepy?”

“Well, because of the time difference…I stayed at the W...” he yawned again, looking at her with a very sleepy face. “I’m sorry, Nana. It’s just…” Kris covered his yawn, shook his head.

“Are you okay with a spa place? You can get relaxed there and later on, I’ll drive you to your hotel. Agree?”

Kris just slowly nodded. He met Nana, and that’s enough; with his crazy mind now, he’d go wherever with her though. The last thing Kris remembered was him sitting at Nana’s car and listened to her talking to him. Kris fell asleep once the car moved, everything went blank after that.

The next day, Nana arrived earlier to the hotel where Kris was staying. She waited on the lobby as he went downstairs. Kris didn’t have to take a long time to find Nana. She’s catching everyone attention with her blue knitted long sleeve dress that stopped at her thigh which covered by a dark jegging. She didn’t look that tall anymore, as she wore her sneakers rather than her daily heels. Somehow, Kris felt happy when everyone there, especially the guy, watched him with a jealous look as he approached her and escorted her out of the lobby.

“So, you had a nice sleep?” she asked as she drove the car.

“Yep. Totally. Thanks to you” he replied. “Where are we going today, Miss Im?”

Nana smiled to his question. “Hmm… Since you’re only having less than 2 days here, I’ll just take you around the area. I couldn’t bring you to the mountain or the beach, because it’s kind of far… Any place you’ve heard or seen on the internet that you wanted to visit?”

Kris rolled his eyes, thinking. “Actually, I just wanted to chill out… Quite place would be better”

“Hmm? Where would that be…” she hummed. “A café?”

“Coffee shop?”

“Sounds good… But isn’t it such a waste to just sit inside under this warm weather?”

Kris smirked to her. “So what do you have in mind?”

“A park. We can buy some food there, snacking while enjoying the sun. Hmm?”

Kris held his hands up. “Following Your Majesty order”

“Shut up!” Nana managed to hit Kris’ chest with her elbow. She remembered he’s once called her ‘Princess’ because of her complex habit on having things done.

“Be careful, Miss Im. You’re driving” he , smiling. “If only I brought my international driving license, I’d be the one driving you…” he mumbled.

“It’s fine… Anyway…. Oh what is this?!” Nana sighed at the weather outside. Rain replaced the sunny weather; it’s now all dark and gloomy. Nana pouted as she drove slower, looking for any place to stop. She remembered a coffee shop around the area and drove there.

Kris took the umbrella and opened the door for her, taking her inside the café. After they dried their hands which was drenched under the rain, both ordering hot drinks to spend the afternoon. Nana chose the hot chocolate, while Kris ordered a hot coffee.

Nana played with the tip of her wavy golden hair, catching Kris’ attention. She seemed to be in her own world, but that’s interesting to him. He missed talking to her, being with her, looking at her. He continued watching Nana, didn’t realize that Nana caught him looking at her.

“You did it again…” she said as she sipped her drink.

“Did what?”

“Looking at my direction. You did it once we met in Macau… We’re in the middle of discussion, and then I saw you looking at my direction. I’m afraid you’re not looking at me so I ignored you, but then, I looked at you again and you’re still looking at me. You suddenly smiled and looked away. Hahahaha.. You’re weird back then…” Nana laughed at him.

Kris remembered it. Actually, he’s not looking at Nana’s direction, he’s looking at her. Kris smiled to himself as Nana didn’t realize what he did to her.

“Oh when the rain is going to stop?” Nana ranted to the window. They almost couldn’t see anything but the heavy rain.

“We can just stay here though, it’s nice here…” Kris said as he looked around the room. It’s a medium size coffee shop, with a classic decoration. Kris felt like he’s at home once he sat at the sofa and smelled the coffee being grinded. He suddenly remembered his father who loves coffee a lot.   

“You should come here on summer…” she mumbled, looking annoyed outside.

“It’s fine. Plus, it seemed like one of the ideal date that I like”

Nana changed her glance to Kris. “Date?”

“I’m not a typical of guy who would please my girlfriend with flowers or chocolate, I’m more like spending the time together with her… And I’m not a romantic person also, so… This kind of date, sitting together while talking or just sitting, reading a book; I think it fits me…” Kris said, changed glance with Nana.

“Oh.. Okay… Are you saying that…” Nana paused her words. “We are having a date now?”

“Would you like to have a date with me for this one day, Miss Im?” he asked her back, giving her a deadly gorgeous smile of him.

She was taken aback, but she realized that he wouldn’t do any harm to her so she nodded. “Umm… Okay, I granted your wish, Mister Wu” she replied calmly, but deep inside, Nana just wanted to scream and jump. The guy that she had been dreaming for the past 3 months was asking her for a date, even only for a day.

“Anyway, since you’re taking me for a date, please think of several places to go after this” she said as she put out her tongue to him, drown herself to the interior magazine that she’s been reading. Kris let out a smile and nodded.

When the rain stopped, they left the coffee shop and back to the city. Kris thought it would be better just to stroll around the city, Nana just following him. They tried several food streets that they saw; everything he ate was mostly his first time. She fed him a lot of foods, making him feeling really full.

Nana took a lot of his pictures while he ate or when he tried to talk to the seller. “For the memories” she said simply when he asked why she kept taking his pictures, walking ahead of him.

“Then why didn’t I have any memories with you?”

Nana smiled to herself and walked backwards, standing beside him. She put her hand around his neck and pulled it closer to her, positioning the camera in front of them. On the count of three, both of them were smiling to the camera. Well, it’s more like Nana smiling cutely to the camera while Kris bend his tall body just to adjust to her height with such an idiotic face. After that, she walked again, leaving Kris behind. He smiled to his phone and started walking to follow her.

“Im Jinah, wait for me!”

They closed the day by sitting at the side of Han River. Both of them were dangling their long legs, sometimes hit each other leg, but then laughed. Kris wanted to try to eat and drink at the tent shop around there. Nana and Kris drank several times, but it seemed like Nana was under the alcohol effect, she kept smiling and laughing while they’re sitting at the bench.

Kris was looking at the dark clear sky, while Nana opened and closed her eyes several times, getting dizzy. Just when Kris thought she’s sleeping, Nana suddenly talked.

“Kris, do you think the other participants of the training, having a good term of relationship like us?” she asked out of the blue.  

“Hmm? Like being like this? Coming to other’s country?”

“Hmm… Well, that’s count. I mean, keep talking and emailing and texting and calling each other…” Nana hung her words. Kris frowned, looking at her.

“Do you always have that kind of face expression?” she said when she saw him frowned. “You looked like angry-birds” she suddenly touched his eyebrows.

“So, I’m cute then?” he chuckled at her words.

Handsome, gorgeous, adorable... I ran out of words to describe you, Kris…

“I guess so…” she replied, still looking at him. Nana realized that it’s about time for her to tell him that she likes him, but she’s damn scared that he might change after that. After she told him that she likes him. Nana shook her head, it’d be better if she pretended that she’s drunk and they can just go home and the last thing she’d do would be sending him off to the airport tomorrow.

“Nana, are you drunk?” Kris looked at her with a concerned look. He moved closer to her, touching her cheeks. It’s kind of warm. She looked at him with a sleepy face and then smiling, before she pulled his shawl and kissed him.

Their lips met but then, nothing happened. Nana was stayed still and Kris was surprised to what she did to him. Nana bit her own lips and step back from him, but then Kris hold her wrist and used his other hand to cup her face and put his lips on hers. This time, Nana was the one who froze. He tilted his head while closing his eyes, kissing her. Nana smiled and kissed him back, as she knew that he had mutual feelings with her.

When they decided to pull away from each other, Nana shyly drown her face to his shoulder, refusing to look at Kris. He let out a smile as he saw her like that, pulling her into a hug. Kris placed his chin on the top of her head, caressing her back. In return, Nana had her arms hugging his back.

“Miss Im, later on… don’t pretend that you’re drunk if you ever wanted to kiss me, ok?” he playfully , earning a small kick on his legs.

“But thank you, for the kiss. I was just about to do it before you though…” he said, looking at her.

“You should’ve done it earlier” she replied, giggled. She pulled away from Kris, smiling as she looked at him. Kris slowly took her hand, intertwined his fingers with hers.

“So, do you want to date me for a longer time, Miss Im?”

…because whenever I look at you, I forgot everything I was going to say.
