“So…”

“So…”

Jongin glanced at Soojung, the girl he’s been crushing for months. She’s like the finest human being he ever met and he’s just confessed to her about his deepest feeling to her. She pressed a small smile and looked back at him with her pretty eyes, the eyes that Jongin always longing to see.

He fell for her every single day and the time they went for the fifth date, he decided that this is it. He couldn’t wait any longer; beside… she knew already that he likes her very much. A lot.

“So… you have not yet responded to my question.” Jongin said.

“Which question?” Soojung replied.

“The question about you becoming my girlfriend.” Jongin said carefully. He still watching her, she gave him a sweet cute smile in response.

“Hmm…”

“Hmm?”

Soojung rested her back to the seat, pushing her hair to the back. It was a simple move, but Jongin swore to God he always felt like he’s having a cardiac arrest every time she did that. He let out a happy smile as he saw that and copied her. He rested his body, enjoying the view of her in front of him.

“Are you sure about this?” Soojung tilted her head as she kept her eyes on him. Jongin… the guy she likes, the one that made her lack of sleep every night (because she kept thinking about him), the guy she fell in love with.  

“I’m sure. Very sure.” Jongin replied with a firm nod, acting like he’s super serious and that’s somehow made Soojung feeling like laughing. It’s him, the only one for her who could do this kind of act.

“Tell me again why you want this.”

Jongin moved his body forward, getting closer to Soojung.

“I like you, Jung Soojung. Only you.”

“Hmm… A lot of guys said that.” Soojung shrugged softly.

“But I’m not like any other guys.”

Soojung glanced at Jongin and shook her head. “Very confident.”

“I can tell you all over again why I like you, why I decided to approach you, why I asked you for dates, why I want you to be my girlfriend. If you want all that, I’ll do.”

Soojung leaned forward and had her chin rested on her palm, watching Jongin who’s excitedly looking back at her. They’re separated by inches. So close.

“So, how do you think about my offer, Miss Jung?” Jongin whispered as he looked straight to her eyes. He’s restless, he couldn’t wait for her. It was not his style to be so open up like this towards someone but this is Soojung. And it’s been a while since he felt like losing controls every time he looks at her, thinks about her.

“I like you, Kim Jongin.”

“Obviously I like you too, Jung Soojung.”

Soojung bit her lower lips, liking what she heard. She looked at him, again and again. She wouldn’t want to lose him, ever. And today marked as the start of everything.

“Well, good luck on occupying your new position as my boyfriend, Mr. Kim.”

This time, it was Jongin who pressed the smile on his face. And without thinking more, Jongin leaned towards her and cupped her face, placing a soft kiss on her right cheek. He loved how her skin felt against his lips. When he moved back, he smiled widely from cheek to cheek.

“Hello, Girlfriend.”
