“Welcome to Macau, Nana!”  

A voice waking up Nana’s sleepy eyes and mind, her eyes grew bigger as she saw a guy in shirt and sweater smiled brightly to her. Luhan stood at the arrival gate, waving happily at her. As soon as she got closer to him, he gave her a big warm hug; she hugged him back tightly after took off her dark sunglasses, revealing her doe eyes.

“Luhan! How are you?” she managed to reply, despite her dizzy head. Nana has just had her post concert euphoria and was kind of having a hangover. She’s watching Bigbang concert in Manila and went straight to Macau for her company training. It was her first trip to Macau and thank God she’s having Luhan as her guide.  

“I’m fine. Hmm... Should we go to the hotel now?” Luhan asked, looking at Nana’s sleepy face. She nodded weakly, yawning a bit loud. It’s 8 in the morning and she just left Manila around 2 hours ago, she’s desperately in need of sleep.  

“I need spa treatment. Anyway, we’ll still hang out tonight, right? Please please please, I want to see Macau around!” Nana pleaded. She already planned many things to do in Macau and Luhan promised to take her around the city. 

Luhan smiled and nodded. “Sure. Just rest first now and we’ll go around. Let’s go!"  

Nana linked her arm with Luhan and walked to the parking area, leaving the airport. For the 25 years of her existence in this world, she finally made it to Macau. She had been visiting other countries near South Korea, but never to Macau, so on this chance she’d be gladly to explore the city.  

She’s tired but her heart was about to explode due to the excitement she had. Once she’s sat at Luhan’s car, Nana yawned again and closed her eyes, hoping for a great adventure ahead.

“Im Jinah! You made it here!” a very excited voice heard once Nana got to the training room the next day after she arrived in Macau. It was Park Gahee, her former boss at her department. She used to work at their company in Seoul, but then got promoted and now being charged for the Asia Pacific region team.  

“Ah, Team Director Park” she greeted her with a polite bow before being pulled for hug by Gahee.  

“How’s your trip? I heard that you’re coming from Manila yesterday. Is it true?”  

“Yes, I went to a concert before heading here… Hehehe” Nana replied happily.  

“Youngsters...” Gahee hissed at her but then smiling nicely. “Anyway, did you come with Luhan? He’s calling me that he’s in Macau, especially coming to you here… I smell love…” Gahee winked to Nana, teasing her.  

“Oh please… No time for love, Unnie”  

Gahee stared at her as she heard the word “unnie”. Nana put her tongue out, realized her mistake. “I’m sorry, Team Director Park. I just missed the time when you’re my unnie at our office…”  

“It’s fine. Take your seat, we’ll be starting anytime soon” Gahee tapped Nana’s shoulder and moved to greet other team that’s coming from different countries.  

Nana chose her seat, taking out her notebook and iPad while observing her surroundings. It’s supposed to be a regional training, but some participants also came from the US and France office. Other than her, she’s having Kim Jaejoong (her super-duper ultra-handsome buyer manager) and Im Yoona (buyer for direct material) joining the training along with her. Jaejoong and Yoona arrived earlier than her, while she’s wandering around here alone. They’re divided into team and were sitting accordingly to the assigned group.  

The first two hours of the training was really boring, Nana couldn’t help but feeling sleepy. She noticed several people that she barely met for the first time here, as she’s still a new worker, she tried her best to get known other workers from different branch of the company. And finally, the first break time came. Nana happily joined the crowd to take some cake and coffee, along with Yoona.  

“How’s your team?” Yoona asked Nana while she’s sipping the tea on her hand. “Mine was filled with super smart guys. Thank God, I don’t have to think”  Nana chuckled at Yoona.

“Mine was fun. You know, working with marketing could sometimes get me crazy, so I have to be cheerful and thankfully, all the members are fun person”  

“It’s good then. My team leader is awesome. Did you notice him?” Yoona said as she pointed someone at the corner of the room with her chin.  

“Who?”  

“Wu Yi Fan, the one from LA” Yoona continued. Nana tried to look at the direction, but all she saw was a yellow hair standing tall in between people. She couldn’t see him clearly though. “He made quite a successful project last year. I think he’s going to made it big this year”  

“Ah, the yellow hair with stiff expression?” Nana assumed, she remembered the guy who sat 3 seats after her. He kept mentioning about something in LA and about the commodity project, she bet it’s him. Yoona let out a laughed while patting Nana’s shoulder.  

“You think that too? Hahaha… Seriously, his face is just like…” Yoona stopped, thinking for a while as she glanced to Wu Yi Fan who was standing across the room.  

“Angry birds!” Nana said and laughed again along with Yoona, attracting others attention. Nana laughed quite big, making Yoona had to cover and went back to the meeting room. The crowd drawn back their attention to the discussion that they talked previously before Nana’s laugh. It’s just this one person who kept looking back at the door before the meeting room.  

“Girls nowadays, always laughing loudly like that” Jaejoong said as he chuckled to Nana’s back.

“It’s fun though” someone responded to Jaejoong’s words.  

Jaejoong tilted his head in confused. “What’s fun?”  

“To get to laugh like that. You know, laugh like everything’s fine and everything’s gonna be okay…” the yellow-haired stopped talking, sipped the coffee on the cup. He added with a thin line formed on his lips, “I’d love to laugh like that”

“Can I sit here?” Nana looked at her side, realizing that she needed to tilt her head a bit more before finally meet the gaze of the tall guy in front of her. She blinked her eyes a few times before nodded, allowing the guy sat next to her.  

It was the lunch time on the second day of the training. They had some Asian food buffet, eating while having a chat with their fellow team members. Nana, who sat along with Yoona and Gahee, didn’t bother the guy sitting next to her. It seemed like everyone on the table already knew him as they happily chat with him, it’s just her who didn’t acknowledge the guy. Well, she remembered him though; he's the angry-bird guy that she talked about yesterday along with Yoona.

“We haven’t been introduced ourselves” he suddenly said as he put his fork on the plate, smiled to Nana.    

“Oh, yeah” she stopped using her chopstick and shook his hand. “I’m Im Jinah, but you can call me Nana”  

“Wu Yi Fan. Just call me Kris” he replied as he shook her hand. They exchanged smile and continued eating. “Which department are you joining?” he asked her.  

“Commercial Marketing. You know, dealing with cute stuff and promotion” she gave a cute expression towards him, but as soon as she realized he’s looking at her with a stiff face, she stopped it immediately. “Sorry…” she mumbled, facing away from him.  

“No, no it’s fine” he said, adding a smile. “My area is more boring… I have to deal with government, you know, the commodity…” he shrugged his shoulders. "Not fun"  

“You’re coming from LA?”  

He nodded. “Yep. Been in the company since 5 years ago. How about you?”  

Nana couldn’t hide her surprised face. Kris looked like someone who’s just graduated from university, yet he’s older than that. “Really? I thought you’re on the same age with me..."  

Kris let out a smile."You're the nth person who said that... I'm flattered though"  

"I'm still new here, this month is my second anniversary in the company" Nana replied, as she ate the dim sum. Kris nodded, drinking the orange juice.  

"So do you enjoy your stay in Macau?" Kris asked, looking at Nana who's chewing the dim sum. She immediately nodded,getting excited over his question. 

"My first time here, so I enjoyed it a lot. You?"  

He shook his head. "Haven't gone out from the hotel ever since I arrived here... Should be going somewhere later on..."  

"There's a lot to see in here! I visited The Venetian last night, it's really great... After the training, I'm extending my stay here hehehe..." she paused for a while. "Hmm... Do you want to take a look around later?"  

"With you?" he asked, smiling as he saw her cheeks blushed.  

"Uh? Well, yes... But I mean, it's not us only.. We can take everyone else if they want to join..." she felt flustered, embarassed by her boldness, it seemed like she's asking him out in the middle of other training participants.  

"Sure... Would glad to join" he said as he nodded to her.

Kris then engaged to another conversation with the team from China while Nana stopped eating. Nana touched her cheeks, it's warm and somehow she felt like it turned out to be red. She fanned herself out of the blue.  

What's wrong with you, Im Jinah...

"No, it's fine Luhan. We can go tomorrow. Plus, I know the directory around here... It's near my hotel..." Nana spoke on her phone at the hotel lobby. "I'll be fine. See you tomorrow" She put the phone on her sling bag, fixing her coat and shawl position.

It's autumn already and the weather was getting colder, but it didn't stop her will to stroll around Macau tonight. Previously, Luhan was abou to come and take Nana for a walk to the southern area of Macau but he got called and need to do some business in Hongkong . So the plan changed, they will visit the place tomorrow. 

The 4 days training already ended that day, but due to the business needs, most of the participants coming back to their country already while Nana extended her stay for holiday until Sunday. Jaejoong and Yoona left for Japan, as they had another meeting to attend there. Gahee also extended her stay before heading to Sydney the next day.  

Nana checked on her appearance once again. She was about to go out from the hotel when someone called her name.  

"Hey, Miss Im"  

Nana turned back and found Kris waved at her in front of the receptionist. He walked to her direction while she got a little surprised with his presence. Nana had just realized that Kris looked fresher on his non-office attire; he looked great with the checkered shirt covered with sweater and dark coat. His long feet made it faster for him to reach Nana.  

"Oh, hi Mister Wu" she replied, smiling to him.  

"You're Im Jinah, right? The hotel staff mistaken you with your friend, another miss Im, and they told me that you're already check out earlier this afternoon" he sounded relieved.  

Nana frowned to his words. "Ah, did they mean Yoona? Yeah, she flew already to Japan"

It's silent for a while before Kris cleared his throat and continued his speech.  

"Anyway, is the offer still on?" he asked her.  

"Which offer?"  

"You know, the Macau tour... Remembered the first time we meet and you said that you'd like to take me seeing around?" he reminded her. Nana showed the oh-yeah-sure-I-remember-that expression and immediately nodded.  

"Do you want to go now?" she asked. "You have no other plans?"  

He looked at his watch on the wrist. "You got 6 hours to take me for a tour before I'm off to the airport"  

"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's go then!" she ecstaticly walked out from the hotel.  

Just in a minute, she asked him whether he's already eat or not, what he wanted to see, and any places that he had visited during his stay in Macau. Kris was taken aback by the attentions, but somehow he enjoyed it. His straightforward mind was in mess. Wu Yi Fan never let himself off without any plan, but this time, he surrendered and got loose for unknown reason.
