Hyukjae had graduated from school and was now a rising star in the law firm he was working in. He had tried to contact Donghae but couldn't find him. He had asked around for Donghae's address and contact number but found out he had moved and changed his number. No one knew where he was. It felt as if Donghae was avoiding him. It pained him to think that Donghae was avoiding him. Ever since he left, Hyukjae had never been the same. There was an emptiness in him. A void he never experienced when

Donghae was around. Hyukjae realized that he had fallen in love with Donghae. Thus his hunt for Donghae began. 

 

It was just like another day. Hyukjae had decided to take a lunch break from work. Strolling down the street, he noticed a newly opened café. Curious, he entered it. The moment he entered the café, he was overwhelmed by the 'blueness' of the place. It reminded Hyukjae of Donghae. Donghae's favourite colour was blue. As he reminisced, he unconsciously smiled. If only

Donghae was here...

 

"Welcome sir. Would you like to take a seat?" One of the waiter asked. 

 

Nodding his head, Hyukjae allowed the waiter, whose nametag read Sungmin, to guide him to his seat while being handed a menu. 

 

After having ordered his food, Hyukjae decided to have a look around the café. Not long after, he heard the footsteps of a waiter and the clanging of the plates indicating that the food had come. Turning around, Hyukjae gasped in surprised. 

 

"Thank you Su-Donghae?!"

 

The waiter whom he had thought would be Sungmin turned out to be Donghae. It must have been fate. 

Donghae seemed equally surprised and felt scared. After having tried ways to avoid Hyukjae, turns out that they would actually meet up at his café.  

 

Rushing forward, Hyukjae gathered Donghae in his embrace. He was so happy to have finally found Donghae when he felt Donghae flinch at his touch. Curious, he took a step back and looked at Donghae questioningly. 

 

"What's wrong? Aren't you happy to see me? I've been looking for you since the time you left. I-"

 

"Stop. I don't want to know. I need to ge-get back to work. Enjoy your meal." Donghae cut Hyukjae off and having said his peace, he walked off. 

 

Hyukjae stood there, stunned. He wondered what had happened to the Donghae he knew, the Donghae who loved him. Had his feelings changed? Wanting to know more, he stood up and asked Sungmin what time Donghae knocked off work.  

 

Satisfied with the information that he got, he decided that he would visit Donghae again when the café closed. Having searched for him for so long, he deserved an answer for Donghae's disappearance and he was going to get it.
