The school is basically normal. Got teased by L.Joe, studying, got teased by L.Joe, hang out with friends for a while, and got teased by L.Joe. That almost a schedule for Sohyun. Although L.Joe has determined not to involve himself with Sohyun, it seems like, he failed to do so. Anyway, the school ended earlier that day and her little brother is still at school. So, Sohyun went to buy ingredients for dinner that evening while waiting for her brother.

" I haven't got any work yet, so the budget is limited. I might as well buy something that doesn't cost too much " Sohyun said to herself while she is on her way to a supermarket. On her way there, she saw  something. Someone to be precise. She saw an old lady, whom Sohyun thought she is 50 or something like that. The grandmother was strolling at the same path, like a kid who lost his mother. Unable to leave the grandmother alone, Sohyun went to the grandmother direction and decided to help her

" Halmeoni, can I help you? " asked Sohyun

" Ah, I'm okay. Actually I'm on my way to the supermarket. But I can't seem to find it " the old lady replied

" If that's so, how about we go together? I'm on my way to the supermarket too. I need to buy some ingredients for tonight dinner " said Sohyun

" If it's not troubling you " the old lady reply with a thankful tone

" No. Of course not. Let's go " said Sohyun with a cheerful tone

On the way to the supermarket, the old lady suddenly broke the silence. " I'm sorry if I am troubling you. Actually, I had a maid once to do all this stuff. But she just quit recently. So, I have to do everything on my own " 

Sohyun reply with an amazed face " You had a maid. Meaning.... you must be a rich person, halmeoni "

" Ahaha... well, you can say that "

" Why don't you quickly find a replacement. Who's going to take care of you if you're alone? " Sohyun asked

Then, the old lady stop her pace and pause for a moment. She stared at Sohyun making her feel unease. Sohyun also stopped her pace and looked at the old lady with a weird face and asked " Is there something wrong halmeoni? "

" Ah, aniya. You just reminded me of my grandson. He also said the same thing like you. Speaking of that, I think my grandson is the same age as you. What's your name, by the way? " the old lady asked

" Ah, I'm Kwon Sohyun. But you can call me Sohyun " Sohyun reply while continue their walk to the supermarket

" Okay then, Sohyun-ah. You can call me halmeoni like you called just now "

" Okay, halmeoni " said Sohyun with a sly smile on her face

AT THE SUPERMARKET

Sohyun helped the old lady with her shopping. Apparently, the old lady also need to buy the ingredients for dinner. While searching for the ingredients, the old lady realised that Sohyun's basket is still empty. It seems like she doesn't search anything for herself. 

" Sohyun-ah, why don't you go and find yours. I think I'll be okay on my own " said the halmeoni

But Sohyun just brushed it off with " Aniya, halmeoni is important right now. How can I leave you alone? "

" But, you haven't take anything yet " reply halmeoni

" Ahaha.... I don't really have that much too buy. My budget is tight right now, so... I only need a several things " Sohyun reply with a joke

" Hmm... ? Budget ? Isn't this for your family dinners ? Why would you spend your money ? " halmeoni asked with full of curiosity

" Actually, right now I'm living with my little brother. My parents had died. So, it just me and my brother. Until  I get a job, I need to spend wisely " reply Sohyun

Hearing those thing, the old lady can't help but feel sympathise for her. Suddenly, an idea struck her mind

" Why don't you work with me? " asked the halmeoni with a big smile on her face

While Sohyun is trying to process what the halmeoni said to her, she added " You don't have to worry about the salary. I can pay you a big amount. You and your brother don't have to worry "

" What do you mean, halmeoni? " Sohyun asked with a shocked face

" I told you didn't I? My maid just quit recently. So, why don't you work with me instead of- " said the old lady halfway. She can't continue her speeches because Sohyun just grabbed her hands out of the blue

" Really? Really? Are you serious? " Sohyun said with a spark in her eye because she thought that she had finally found a job

" Of course I am. Young lady like you shouldn't be bother with money at young age. Let see, can you do chores? '

" Yes "

" Can you cook? "

" Of course "

" Can you follow my instructions? "

" I'll try "

" Then you're hired. You don't even need to send me your resume " 

Unable to hold her happiness, Sohyun just hugged the halmeoni and said " Thank you, very much "

The old lady just patted her back like she is one of her grandchild

Sohyun is really happy because her brother can live better. She thought that maybe, God just make her life easier, in return of holding back her anger during the times that L.Joe . She thought that maybe her luck just change. Maybe, she need to think again, don't you think?
