After about 5 minutes break, the participant of the competition were gathered up on the stage again to proceed with the next game. The MC, which is Park Chanyeol, followed suit and went on the stage as well. He tapped his microphone before speaking to it, "Can everyone hear me?" he tried to make sure

"Yes!!" the crowd chorused loudly

"Good. Okay, so, now we are going to proceed with the next game of the competition." the MC said with a bright beam. "This might be kind of embarassing or troublesome, but believe me when l say that this game also has its own benefits." he continue with a sly grin plastered on his lips

Sohyun shot the MC a look, What the hell is he talking about? urgh... l hope this round is an easy one. Please, please, please be an easy one. She chanted in her mind

"Anyone want to guess what the game is? No? That's fine by me. l'll do the honour of revealing it!" the MC smiled widely. He began reading his on his paper again, "Everyone, give our couples a big applause because it's the 'Who can carry your girlfriend the longest?' game!" the MC finally revealed, cheerfully. The audience also cheered aloud in anticipation. "The boyfriends can do whatever styleof carrying their girls; bridal style, piggyback, or whatever you were best at." he shrugged

Meanwhile, Sohyun just stood still to her spot not moving an inch. Really? she mentally scoffed. There are a lot of other games out there and they just had to pick this one. She scanned her partner beside her and felt pity for him. Poor guy. l think he's gonna have a fractured back. 

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a heavy sigh. The sigh that escaped from her partner's mouth. "Now what?" he asked while looking at her

"Don't ask me. You're the one who insisted to see whether we're compatible or not. One thing for sure, you're gonna have a sore back after this" she replied sarcastically

Before he can retort back, the MC whistled indicating that the game is starting

Almost immediately, the other couple conceded and the girls began climbing up into their boyfriends' arms or onto their back. Sohyun uneasily glanced at L.joe who glanced back at her

After a few seconds, he sighed in defeat before bending down, making his back faced her. "Hop on" he ordered

"Are you sure about this?" she asked

"Just get on. l'll be fine" L.joe said reassuringly

After a moment of contemplation, Sohyun finally wrapped her arms around his neck while L.joe wrapped his arms around her thighs. He then straightened up with a grunt, lifting Sohyun floating on his back and made her tightened her grip around his neck even more

L.joe huffed as he tried to adjust her position on his back. He glanced over his shoulder to look at her. "Be honest with me. How much do you eat a day, really?"

Sohyun can't help but poke the back of his head, hard. He chuckled, "l'm just kiddng. You were not heavy as l thought you would be." he said as he held onto her thighs tighter

"You don't need to lie" Sohyun said firmly

"What do you mean?" L.joe can't help but to raise an eyebrow out of confusion

"Do you know how much sound you made when you try lifting me up? Besides, looking at your composition, l don't think there are much differences in our weight" she explained logically

lnstead of taking it seriously, he decided to crack a joke out of it. "Wow, you've already checked out my body? l didn't know that my fiancee have this kind of personality" he smirked teasingly

"Why do you have to make it sound so erted?"

"lt's not?" he asked while faking innocent

"Of course it's not!" she hissed

ln the end, two couple can't stand it anymore and lost the game. Now the only couples remained standing are L.joe with Sohyun and another couple which they identify as couple number 3. Sohyun uneasily glanced at the other couple who looked as if they could go around like that for another week

She averted her gaze to L.joe who looked tired by now. She softened and frowned in guilt, "Yah, L.joe-ah.." she called out. He didn't respond as he was tired to do so. "Put me down" she whispered

"l'll be fine. Don't try to stop me" he stubbornly said

"Do you know how you look like right now? Well, you look like a corpse and that is a fact. Now that you've already known about the fact that you look like you're dying, put me down"

L.joe shook his head in act of refusal. "Just rely on me"

"l said, put me down right now" Sohyun angrily said

"Shut up, Kwon Sohyun" he hissed

Sohyun mentally scoffed and she was about to whack his mind out of his head if it weren't for the whistling sound that managed to grab their attention from their bickering. Both Sohyun and L.joe ly to gawk when they saw that the other couple had ended up laying on the stage lifelessly

"Our winner for this game is couple number 5!" the MC motioned his hands towards them both and the audience cheered like there is no tomorrow, totally delighted by the turned out of events

L.joe accidentally loosened his grip around Sohyun who try to register what the MC just spoke. After a few seconds, Sohyun held both of L.joe's hand and kept cheering like a 6-year-old-kid

"We won! We won! We won!" she kept chanted as her eyes sparkled in happiness

L.joe could only look at her with his gaze softened and a sincere smile appeared on his face. Then the MC continued, "Okay, we will have a break for 5 minutes before we proceed to our last game"

Sohyun's smile faltered and she quickly throw L.joe's hands away. "Mwoya? And here l thought we're already done here. Aish..."

L.joe scoffed loudly because his fiancee's change of attitude. Bipolar girl. He thought while eyeing the girl in front him

After the remaining couples including L.joe and Sohyun were given a 5 minutes break, the game resumed again and it appeared to be the last game of the competition where the winner will then be determined

Finally. Sohyun thought to herself

"Our finale of the day, the higlight of this game: Pepero Game!" the MC cheered while holding up a box of pepero stick. The audience cheered so loud that one could go deaf if they have a sensitive hearing

"l knew it would come to this..." Sohyun mused out loud

"Why am l not surprised?" L.joe just agree with her

Each couples were then distributed with one pepero each. Sohyun turned to look at L.joe who held the pepero stick between his thumb and his index finger

"So... do you want the chocolate part or-"

"That's all you can say right now?" she cut him off

"Well, what can we do right now? You have any idea?" L.joe asked her continously

Sohyun just stare at him blankly before letting out a sigh. "Your choice"

"l'll take the chocolate one. Oh, and, l'll move" L.joe said

Well duh. She fought the urge to roll her eyes in front of him

L.joe then bit the other end of the pepero stick while looking straight at her face. But Sohyun can't see it because she already closed her eyes. Not wanting to know what she would do if she open her eyes. The whistle rang and Sohyun swallowed hard. Before she knew it, L.joe had started moving slowly towards her while biting the pepero stick bit by bit.

When she could feel L.joe's breath was becoming nearer and nearer, Sohyun knew that she couldn't hold it any longer. She placed her right hand in front of his chest indicating him to stop for a moment, and he obeyed.

*Yah, don't come any closer than this. Just break this damn stick* Sohyun try to speak. But her words were unclear because she was still biting the other end of the stick

Miraculously, L.joe understood her and look straight into her eyes. *Are you crazy? l dare you to break this stick* L.joe's word were also unclear because of the same reason. Sohyun look back at him and her eyes were practically saying You-Think-l-Wouldn't?

Ignoring her, L.joe held her shoulders and her started to inch closer again.

*Y-yah* Sohyun try to speak while still biting the pepero stick

L.joe didn't answer and kept on biting the chocolate stick. Sohyun also noticed that his pace seem to be quicken

ls this guy for real? Sohyun widened her eyes

*Yah! Lee Byunghun!*

.

*You, don't you hear me-*

Her words were interrupted halfway when L.joe cupped her face with both if his hands. *You're too loud*

His next action make her difficult to breath. He tilted his head and Sohyun could pratically feel his lips on her. Fortunately, the MC blew the whistle, "Stop biting!" he instructed and all of them obeyed. Sohyun quickly released the pepero stick from between her lips and L.joe caught it with his palm before it could even fall on the ground

Sohyun look at L.joe in daze. How----  He---- she can't even think straight anymore. When L.joe caught her gaze, she immediately turn to look at other things. Other things except for a guy named Lee Byunghun

After what it seemed like forever of checking the measurement of the pepero stick, the MC finally grabbed his microphone and motioned it towards L.joe and Sohyun. "Congratulations for couple number 5 who won with the shortest pepero stick!" he applauded loudly and the crowd followed suit

We... won? Sohyun eyes widened in shock

The MC turned to look at the pepero stick again and said, "Well, isn't it obvious when you're already kissing on the stage?"

Both L.joe and Sohyun's face turned red while the audience was enjoying their flustering actions. From the corner of her eyes, she could see her friends whistling and cheering like crazy. Some friend they are...

"Congratulations!" the MC announced for the second time with a wide grin
