An awkward silence occured between them after that morning incident. They're already check-out from the hotel, and now they're in the car. Although they were holding hands, due to Sohyun's phobia, they just kept in silence and say nothing

Sohyun's mind is in mess. With all the things that happening to her this morning, how could she not be. Suddenly she remember what L.joe said to her last night
"Most people learn to love after they got married. We can do that too, don't we?"
While biting her lower lip, she thought 'Did he really mean it?'

While L.joe was driving with an uneasiness feeling, he suddenly felt Sohyun tighten her grip. He wanted to turn and look at her expression, but since he is driving, he need to stay focus on the road. Besides, he don't want to die young

He heard Sohyun said in a slow voice "Last night, what you said to me... Did you really... mean it?"

Suddenly L.joe's thought drifted to what he said to her last night
"We're going to be very busy tomorrow"
U-oh..... They clearly misunderstood each other. L.joe, wrong flashback... !!!

Without knowing the real thing, L.joe reply "Of course l mean it"

Sohyun's heart started beating rapidly, as her face started to blush. Clearly she don't know which flashback he means. "l-ls that so..." she started to stutter

L.joe managed to take a glance at her. Sensing that she already return to her old self, he can't help but to show his charming smile. Of course she didn't see it

Sohyun then continue "Are we heading back home?"

With a smirk, L.joe reply "Home? Nah..... not yet"

Hearing his answer, Sohyun immediately look towards him with a shocked eyes "T-then..... where are we going?"

"l have one place left to stop by, before heading back" he reply calmly

Sohyun on the other hand can't control her calm "Just tell me where are we going"

"l'm not going home wearing something like this. lt is so..... uncomfortable" reply L.joe

'Then, where are we going' Sohyun thought to herself

"A mall...?!!" Sohyun said loudly. "What are we doing here, actually?"

"l told you l don't want to go home wearing this" reply L.joe

"But, you already ha-"

Her sentences were cut off by L.joe, "Aish.... you're so noisy. Stop talking and start walking". With that, he took one of her hands and lead her into the mall

After walking and walking and walking to look for store that suited L.joe's taste, they have finally found one. The store looked quite normal. lt doesn't bring out any special aura. Okay, it's perfect for them

They stepped into the store and started to look for clothes that is quite normal. One of the workers noticed them, and she immediately walked towards them

"How may l help you?" she asked in English

Sohyun didn't know what to answer. Luckily, she got L.joe. "Can you look for something for her?"

"Do you have any specific themes?" she asked

"Just find her something quite normal, yet nice on her" reply L.joe

"What about you?"

"Ah, l can handle myself. She's the one who need some care" 

"Very well then. By the way, your girlfriend is really cute" she said to L.joe

"Ah-  Well...... thank you?" he reply while giggling nervously

Frustrated with the language barrier, she decided to ask him "What did she say?"

"Just follow her" he said sternly

"Fine" said Sohyun while puffing her cheeks

After half an hour in the store, they finally found the suitable clothes for them

Simple right? l don't know why they need half an hour. Anyway, they went to the counter to pay for the clothes. After done paying, they immediately change their clothes at the changing room. While they were in there, there's a few people enter the store. They were checking out the clothes, and that's when the news on the tv do its work

He spoke seductively while smirking "Oh... clearly you don't know me yet"

As Sohyun started to open to speak, she was interrupted by one of the customers who yelled out of nowhere
"OH....!!! AREN'T THEY IN THE NEWS JUST NOW". All the customers are looking at them right now

'News?' L.joe thought to himself. He looked at the tv and noticed their faces. "Oh no" he mumbled to himself

"What's going on?" she asked, but no reply. After asking again and received no reply, she looked towards L.joe's gaze. Towards the tv. Her eyes become wide and she said to him "A-although l don't understand what they are talking about, l don't think lt's a good thing"

Their eyes just glued on the tv. One of the camera flashes make them realised that they shouldn't be there. Cameras started to flashes everywhere. L.joe hold Sohyun's hand and said to her "Run"

"Run?" she asked again

"Now...!!!" 

With that they dashed off from the store. Luckily they already pay for their clothes, or else they would be called thieves. They ran and ran and ran. Wherever they go, people already recognized them and they immediately took some pictures. L.joe started to cursed the tv for playing the news now

"Why are they following us?" Sohyun asked while still running. There's a trace of tired in her voice

"Why don't you ask them? l don't even know why are we running" reply L.joe

"l don't know how to speak English" Sohyun started whining

L.joe wanted to laugh at her answer, but if he laugh now, they will definitely caught up to them. Save that laugh for later

They finally arrived at the parking lot and quickly enter the car. They were panting heavily from the long running. They took a moment to inhale the air

Sohyun look at L.joe who is covered in sweat. One hour ago, he is L.joe, who is full of himself, selfish, and many more. But now, you can guess that, can't you?

Out of the blue, the car is full of Sohyun's laughter. L.joe just looked at her with a weird face. "ls she okay?" he mumbled to himself. "Yah... are you going crazy? Why are you laughing?"

They enter the house with L.joe teasing Sohyun. Suddenly, a strong slap landed on L.joe's face. He looked at the front and saw his furious father. His eyes are red from the anger that he is trying to control. Sohyun was shocked to see that. She didn't know what to do, so she just kept quiet beside L.joe

His grandmother and Do hyun also there. Like Sohyun, they were shocked to see his dad, slapping him. His grandmother wanted to finished this argue as soon as possible, but she decided to leave this matter to him. After all, he is still L.joe's father

"Why are you doing this?" his father asked

"l told you to announce the enggagement. But l didn't say with whom, right? So what's the matter?" L.joe reply coldly

"Are you digging your own grave? You just destroy your own future"

"l don't see why you need to worry about it"

"Byunghun-"

"Aren't you just afraid that you will lose your company"

"lf you hadn't make that supid deal or promise or whatever it is, we wouldn't be in this kind of situation"

He started to lift his hand again, and slapped his cheeks, real hard. L.joe just closed his eyes to received the impact from the slap. The weird thing is, he doesn't feel any pain. When he open his eyes, he saw Sohyun, in front of him. After a few seconds, he realised that his father just slapped the girl, leaving red marks on her cheeks

His father felt awkward to slap someone that he barely knows. But as for L.joe, as he caressed Sohyun's face softly, he began to raise his voice "HOW DARE YOU"

"LEE BYUNGHUN, YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE TO YOUR OWN FATHER?"

"HOW DARE YOU SLAP HER. YOU'RE NOT EVEN-"

"STOP IT" Sohyun yelled in the middle of the argue
