"You think l don't have any proof?" ask Krystal

"What?" said Sohyun, weakly

Krystal handed her a big envelope and said "You will find your answers in this document. After you read it, you'll realise that you don't have any options but to leave L.joe's side"

Sohyun could only heard her with her wide eyes and her lips parted slightly

"l mean, who knows what L.joe would do to you once he find out that you're the daughter of the person who killed his beloved mother? Auh..... l don't even want to imagine about it"

Suddenly, Krystal stood up making her chair squeak. "Well, l've got other things to do, so make your decisions wisely" said Krystal while smirking

On her way back home, Sohyun held the envelope tightly, pondering whether to open it or not. After thinking and thinking, she decided to read the document. She stopped at a certain bus stop and look at her left and right. She opened the envelope carefully and started to scan the document. The contents of the document almost made her heart stop

Sohyun stopped reading the paper and somehow, the strength that made her hold the paper suddenly vanished. Her hands slowly dropped to her thighs, and without her realising, her cheeks started to get wet because of her tears

Sohyun started to sob. While clutching her shirt, she asked herself, "Omma........ Appa........., is this... the truth? Is this really the truth? l really have to leave Byunghun's side?"

Suddenly, an image of L.joe flashed in her mind

"Even though..., even though l've already promised him. l've promised that l won't leave him. Why..., why does this have to happen? Why does this have to happen when....., when l've already realised my feelings for him"

Still sobbing, Sohyun raised her head to look at the evening sky. "l wonder, if God really exist..., does the God hate me?"

L.joe furiously paced back and forth. "Where is she?" L.joe asked himself while glancing at his watch

Suddenly, he heard the front door was opened, indicating that someone just arrived. With his fast movement. L.joe jumped onto the couch and grabbed a nearby magazine, pretending to read it. He averted his gaze from the magazine and saw Sohyun was on her way to the stairs

"Yah, are you an idiot? What kind of girl would stay out until this late? Don't misunderstood. l don't care what happen to you, but halmeoni won't stop fidgeting" said L.joe as he stood from the couch

When Sohyun turned around to face him, L.joe saw her eyes. Her dull eyes. "O-oi, are you okay?" he asked

"l'm fine" Sohyun mumbled to no one in particular. She looked at L.joe and force a smile "l must've made everyone worried. l'm sorry"

Just as she was about to take the first step, L.joe held her wrist firmly that made her spun around

"Did you just cry?" he asked

"Eh?"

"Your eyes look swollen. Are you really okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?" he asked again

This is the part where Sohyun should yell at him because he asked to many questions. Instead of annoyed, Sohyun felt her heart getting warm. Did L.joe really asked about her well-being? She thought to herself that L.joe is really a nice person. 'What will he do if he find out the truth? Will he change to the worst, because of me?'

A single tear dropped from her eyes and she started to cry again. Without thinking, she started to hug him. Her action made L.joe speechless. He want to ask what's wrong, but he pushed the thought far away. At first he was hesitant, but after a minute, he slowly raised his hands and wrapped it around her waist, and he also placed his chin on her shoulder

He could hear Sohyun's whispering to him, "l'm sorry"

He tighten his hug and said in a soft voice, "lt's okay"

Still hugging her, L.joe thought to himself 'At least she's okay'
