Upon arriving at the company, Sohyun could see a lot of rich people and reporters at there. L.joe told her, there's a lot of family members too. Sohyun become unease hearing that. Realising that she might be the only person that have nothing to do with the company. Absolutely nothing. "Are you sure it's a good idea for me to come?" asked Sohyun

"You already here. You can't turn back now" reply L.joe. "Come on" he said and dragged Sohyun in

Observing the hall, Sohyun's eyes and mouth become wide in amazed. She never even dream of being in such place. Suddenly, people started to gather around them. Then, she realised that L.joe and his grandmother had to do some greeting. So, she pull her little brother near the buffet. She said "It seems that they're going to be busy tonight. Why don't we just grab something to eat"

"Um... " Do hyun nodded in agreement

As they give their attention fully to the food, other started fussing about the next guest

'lsn't that Chairman Jung's daughter?'

'woah... she's so beautiful'

That's the normal conversation when people saw her. Right now, she is looking for someone. But as usual, greetings come first. The greeting went on and on, until she met L.joe's father

"Chairman Jung... Krystal. You look lovely tonight" said L.joe's father

"My princess always look beautiful" said her father

Embarassed, Krystal said "Papa, you're embarassing me"

"Hahaha.... Anyway, where's your son?"

"He's around here, somewhere"

Krystal eyes search for L.joe, but when she found him, she felt really disappointed. She saw L.joe with another girl. Moreover, the girl that she saw in the car and told him to break up with her

"Yah... How dare you eat without me?" said L.joe

Startled, Sohyun turn to the owner voice and said "You seem pretty busy. lf we wait for you, we're going to be starving instead of hungry"

"Yeah right"

Suddenly, L.joe felt someone tugged his red tux "Hyung, l want to go to the bathroom" said Do hyun

"Um...? You want to go to the bathroom? Let me take you" said Sohyun. But, L,joe stopped her "Let me take him. Besides, you can't get in to the men's toilet. Or do you want to?"

"W-what do you take me for? A ert?" stuttered Sohyun

"Let's go" said L.joe as he dragged Do hyun out from the hall

When Sohyun is busy cursing L.joe in her mind, she didn't realised that someone is nearing her. By the time she realised it, that person already in front of her. "We need to talk"

Sohyun look at the person in front of her and asked "Do l know you?". She observed her face carefully and something clicked in her mind. "Ah, you're the girl from yesterday. ln front of door"

"My name is Krystal" she said with a smirk

"A-ah, my name is Kwon Sohyun. Nice to meet you. What do you want to talk about?"

"l make this clear. l want you to end your relationship with L.joe"

"Ha? l-l don't understand"

"l want you to break up with him. Because you'll end up getting hurt if you're still with him"

"W-why do we need to break up? lt's not like we-" before Sohyun could finished her sentences, Krystal interrupted "l am his fiancee"

That statement shocked Sohyun, and for some reason her heart stop beating for a second "F-f-fiancee?"

"His father will announce our engagement tonight. Now that you know, l believe you'll make a wise desicion" and with that, she left the shocked Sohyun alone. She hold her plate tightly so that it will not fall and break

After a few second, L.joe and Do hyun come back from the toilet. "Noona, you have to see the bathroom. lt's unbelieveable" said Do hyun

"O-oh, Do hyun-ah" said Sohyun

Seeing her behave like that, L.joe started to get suspicious "You okay?"

"O-of course. l think l ate too much"

"You're a pig" 

"What...?!!"

After a few minutes, the guest were entertained by performances. The next performer is a duet. They called themselves Akdong Musician. As they were getting ready to perform, L.joe whisper to Sohyun "They're my cousins"

"Oh...." said Sohyun, and the show begin

The lyrics make everyone laugh as it was hilarious. L.joe could see tears at Sohyun eyes as she was laughing

"Yah... They're really funny" said Sohyun

"l know" reply L.joe

While laughing, Sohyun convinced herself 'lt doesn't matter even if he was engaged. We're just friends'

Seeing Sohyun laughing, L.joe can't help but smile. Suddenly, he said softly "Mianhae..."

Even though he said quietly, Sohyun can still hear it, but she act like she didn't hear anything. She thought 'Why did he apologized? Maybe it's because of the engagement'

After the performances have finished, Chairman Lee got up the stage and began his speech. Finally, he announced "l have important announcement to make tonight. Come here" he said and L.joe showed up on the stage. "l would like to announce that my only son, Lee Byunghun is engaged"

After hearing that, the hall started to fussed. His grandmother who stand beside Sohyun is shocked and angry "l haven't heard anything about this"

L.joe look at his father and said "l want to introduce my fiancee by myself"

His father tapped his shoulder while nodding "lt seems that he is so happy that he want to introduce his fiancee by himself. Go on". He gave the microphone to L.joe

L.joe walked among the guest and he walked straight to Krystal direction

'Krystal is his fiancee?'

"ls this for real?'

'They look perfect for each other'

'l'm so envious'

Seeing L.joe walked towards her make Sohyun heartbroken, even though she didn't know why. 'l can't feel like this. l need to support him as a friend' she thought. Krystal just smirked in glory. Thinking that she have it all now. But her smirk disappear when L.joe walked past her. Her eyes become wide and she immediately turn back

'She isn't his fiancee?'

He walked and walked and finally he stop his pace in front of Sohyun. Shocked, Sohyun look at him with wide eyes. She asked herself 'What is he doing?'. Holding Sohyun's hand, L.joe announced "This girl here, Kwon Sohyun, is my fiancee"

"What...?!!! " yelled Sohyun in shocked

The hall become loud with murmur. The reporters started to make a move by clicking their cameras over and over. His father who's on the stage had wide eyes. So as the others. The only thing that running in Krystal mind right now is 'You've gone too far Byunghun. You despise me that much'. Her eyes getting red from the shock. Cannot contain her anger anymore, she yelled while clenching her fist "Why don't you prove it...?!! RIGHT NOW...!!! "

"You wanna prove?" L.joe asked. "Fine then, you asked for it"

Cupping Sohyun's face with both of his hands, he kissed her on the lips in front of everyone. Sohyun's eyes became as wide as balloon that can popped anytime. The cameras become crazy and Sohyun is blinded with the flashes. ln this situation, she can't do or say anything. She is fully aware that L.joe is kissing her in the public, but right now, she is like a stone.

The one thing that she could think of right now is 'W-W-WHAT IS GOING ON...??!!!!'
