His Obsession part II: He's back (editing)
“Why did you drag me out of the house?” Himchan asked for the 100th time tonight.
“I just wanted to get out of the house.” I replied hesitantly, not wanting to lie to him.
“I-it’s s-stuffy in there” I was stumbling over my words, and I could tell that he was not buying my lies.
Himchan looked down at me with weary eyes.
“Really” he asked
“Yes really…”
He sighed and shook his head, “What are you not telling me Jiah?”
I stopped walking, making him come to a halt as well.
“I’m telling you everything!” I argued
“Jiah...please. Do you not trust me enough to tell me?”
His eyes looked as if they were on the verge if tears; his eyes reflected pain and anger that I was keeping things from him.
I sighed.
“You want the truth?”
“Yes!” he begged
“…fine…”

I pulled Himchan down to a little café in a secluded part of town. It was evening, so hardly anyone was there. I sat down us down in a little booth in the back.
“OK…” I started as we sat down.
“Here’s the truth.” I looked around paranoid
“The truth...NOW!” Himchan urged
“The truth is,” I started again. Taking deep breaths to try and steady my heartbeat.
“I got a note…it was from him”
I could see Himchan roll his eyes in annoyance; he knew where this conversation was headed.
“Who is he?” he asked beyond his better judgment.
“Yongguk” I whispered.
Himchan shook his head, “Jiah, listen to me, because this is the last time I will say this. Yongguk is in jail. He’s not here!”
“YES HE IS!!” I screamed, enraged that he didn’t believe me.
“He’s here, He’s everywhere. I can’t escape him. He’s always gonna be here, taunting me. He’s driving me crazy!!” I began to cry, on the edge of hysteria.
He looked away
“Jiah, you need help…you’re paranoid and hysterical. We should get you therapy or something. It hurts to see you like this.”
“Himchan.” I whispered, hurt by his words. Of course I was being hysterical; I was being tormented day and night.
“Go home Jiah.” He spoke softly, “I’m sleeping over at noona’s place tonight.”
“Himchan…” I whispered again, tears of pain flowing freely down my tired face.
“Goodnight” he said as the turned and walked away

I did as I was told and went home. At this point, I was so hurt by Himchan that I didn’t care about anything else. I walked up the stairs of the complex, a little to afraid to ride the elevator
When I reached my apartment, I could see that the door was cracked open.
Yongguk was here…
