Chapter 9
Don't Look BackAfter having been a regular guest at the house, Mir decided that he quite liked Joon’s bedroom the most. It wasn’t the comfy bed with a nice, Tempurapedic mattress pad that felt absolutely wonderful on his back every time he flopped down on top of it, nor was it the two heavenly fluffy pillows that felt like clouds beneath his messy, caramel hair when he lay down, and while Joon’s thick, blue comforter was delightfully warm, that still was not what he liked about the room. It was just the simple fact that it was a bedroom, a cool one at that.

Everything about Joon was cool, he was the definition of chic. While on the outside the house belonged to a crappy neighborhood in a ghetto city, you would have never guessed it by being inside. With posters covering the walls, pictured pinned up as a mirage with black marked writings on them, it was the typical modern teen boy room, and Mir loved it. It was almost a rosy smell, but not girlie; he brushed it off as living in a house with two girls because after spending enough nights over and showering, he’d learned that Hyojin and little Anya were girlie girls and liked pretty smelling things, and refused to let Joon bring in any ‘manly’ scents.
“What are you smiling at?”
Mir snapped his eyes open, finding Joon finished with his shower and back in the room, clad in a pink flowere
