Soundtrack 2: Hello

Here's another short chapter to start off our adventure.

You heard the alarm clock ring and you growled as you reached to shut it off. It was the first day of your second year in high school but you were too tired from using the computer all night. You sat up in bed with your eyes half opened and rubbed your head.

“Why did I have to stay up,” you mumbled to yourself.

“Ah, Remi, you’re awake,” you heard someone say. Your eyes flew open and you saw your friend Himchan standing against the wall in front of the side of your bed with arms folded. You felt like your eyes were playing tricks on you when you first saw him.

“Himchan, did a squirrel poop on your head?” you asked still half-awake. He laughed. You were referring to his hair that he dyed in a brown color.

“...and that’s coming from the girl who dyed her hair orange last year,” he said. You sighed and got off your bed and prepared yourself to go to school.

When your mom saw you walk in the kitchen she smiled and gave you a plate of food.

“Mom, you actually allowed Himchan in my room while I was sleeping?” She chuckled and gave Himchan a cup of tea; apparently he already ate.

“You know I trust him,” she said, giving Himchan a wink. You gave her a slight smile and Himchan gave her a bright, thin smile. You looked down at your uniform and smiled even brighter.

“Our school has nice uniform,” you said, wanting to say what you were thinking. Himchan looked at you and then at his uniform. He didn’t like the way the pants stopped too short but he liked it as well.
