I Found You
I Don't Like K-Pop
Despite Seoul being a new place to her, she only wanted to play StarCraft. The VIP PC room became her 2nd home.
“Hey, the boss is coming today. We better get this place cleaned up” one of the staff said to the other in Korean which Suzy ignored since she barely understood it.
“Too late” said Shindong as he came in the VIP room
The staff quickly dropped everything and bowed to greet him.
“Anything new?” Shindong asked as he put his phone on the bar counter
One of the staff quietly pointed to Suzy who was in her own world. She was too focused on her game to even notice anything else.
“누구 (who)?” he asked
“She’s been coming here every day for almost a week now. She just sits there and plays all day” said the staff who pointed her out
Shindong took the booth next to hers but he watched her play instead of using the PC in front of him. She felt someone looking and as soon as she turned, Shindong was too close to her. She quickly jumped up in surprise.
“Oh sorry… I just watch you…go…go …play” Shindong said with broken English
Suzy just continued playing without saying a word and in seconds she was lost in the game once again.
About half an hour has passed and Suzy decided to take a break. She stepped out onto the sidewalk and stretched her arms and back.
“Hello…. I’m owner. What’s your name?” Shindong asked as he suddenly appeared next to her
She jumped up in surprise again.
“Oh hi dude, I’m Suzy. I like your place” Suzy said quickly
“Huh? Oh yes yes…You having good time?” Shindong asked trying to remember his high school English
“Really good” she said with a smile, appreciating him trying to speak English
He suddenly got a call and excused himself to answer his phone. She nodded and continued stretching.
“규현아 (Kyuhyun-ah)…왜 (why)?!” Shindong shouted
“You took my jacket by mistake! I need it for my schedule” said Kyuhyun
“Oh yeahㅎㅎ~ you going to pass by for it? I’m just at my PC roo
