Seeing how I wasn’t talking much, unnie chuckled before finishing her coffee quickly and getting up.

“Um, I have to go, I have something important in one hour, I’ll go and get prepared. Ari, I’ll bring your things to my place. Just come and get them when you’re free, okay? Goodbye!”

She bowed slightly in front of the guy.

“It was a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Kim. I was glad to meet a Korean guy here in Montreal.”

She took my hand in hers. “See you soon, Ari, okay?”

“Y-yeah…?”

And she left. I frowned when I felt that she had left something in my hand and I made a ¬_¬ face when I saw the condoms she had put in it. What are you insinuating, Ahra?

“Is anything wrong? Are you uncomfortable that she left both of us alone?”

I hid the condoms in the pockets of my pants and forced a smile.

“I-it’s okay. I, um… I just…”

“If you’re not comfortable, you can go with her.”

I chuckled. “I can’t do this. She’ll kick me back here.”

“Why?”

“Because she thinks you’re the perfect guy for me, that’s why”, I muttered.

He stayed silent for a minute before laughing softly.

“Well, she can read thoughts for sure!”

I frowned. “Huh?”

“I think you’re very attractive. You didn’t talk much, but I already like your personality.”

Ahra, what am I supposed to say?! “Oh, um… thanks?”

“You’re very welcome. I really mean what I said.”

He blushed softly.

“I, um… I’m not used to say things so directly like this… but I thought you wouldn’t like it if I just kept turning around and around without telling you. You seem to be a very direct person.”

I didn’t know how I was supposed to take this. As a compliment or an insult?

“I, um… I don’t know how to tell you otherwise… please don’t freak out… I… I think… that you’re very beautiful,” he smiled softly. “You’re a very lovely lady.”

I couldn’t help but blush softly. Huh? Blush? ME?! Hell yeah, I was blushing, and not just a bit. Was I already getting used to being a girl?!

“Thanks…?”

His eyes were so full of gentleness. And his voice was very gentle too. He seemed like he would never hurt anyone. He seemed like a very sensitive guy. His hand brushed mine softly before he had a little, shy smile, and handed me a piece of paper.

“Maybe it’s too soon to ask so, but… could I have your phone number? I’d like to know more about you.”

“Oh… okay.”

“Here”, I said when I gave it back.

He looked so happy. He wrote down his phone number too before tearing the paper into two parts and giving me the part with his phone number and a little smiley next to it. I couldn’t help but laugh softly.

“That’s so cute.”

He blushed and smiled too.

“Glad you think it is. Well, then… shall we go? Would you like me to drive you home?”

“Huh?”

Oh, right. AHRA! WHY DID YOU LEAVE?!

“Um, I’d like to. Please. My cousin was the one driving, and she obviously left me here with you so you’ll drive me home…”

He laughed softly. “Yeah, I kind of guessed that… want me to drive you directly to your home, or do you want to get your things at your cousin’s before?”

“Directly to my apartment, please. I’ll just go and get my stuff another day.”

“Okay!”

We went to his car, I told him my address, and we left. I frowned when I heard the song that was playing.

“You have Asian Devil’s CD?”

“Yeah! I just love his songs. Too bad he doesn’t do concerts.”

I chuckled. ‘Asian Devil’ was the artist name I used when I recorded songs… This guy didn’t know his boss would be the kind to sing like that, huh?

“Yeah, too bad. I’m sure he’s very handsome. A guy with a voice like this is surely handsome.”

“I can sing too!” he pouted, making me laugh.

“I’m sure you can,” I nodded. “Will you let me hear you?”

He turned off the radio and breathed deeply before his gentle voice resounded:

I was speechless. “Your voice… it’s so beautiful!”

He smiled softly, but happily. “Thanks…”

“Seriously! It’s amazing! Your voice is so soft, so gentle, so… full of emotions!”

I kept praising him until I noticed we were near my apartment. He parked in front of the building and I got out of the car, leaning forward to see him before closing the door.

“Thanks for the coffee and the ride home.”

“It was no problem,” he smiled. “When will we meet next time?”

I shrugged softly and made a face that I thought could eventually be ‘cute’.

“After you call me, oppa.”

He blushed softly and I closed the door before waving him goodbye and going to my apartment. I entered my place and went to my room to get rid of the very high heels shoes. I sat on my bed and sighed, looking at my body in the mirror of my room.

“Hmm… he thinks I’m attractive, huh…”
