Chapter 40

Guardian

Ah, my promised update. Today is my last day of Thanksgiving Break. ;A; I hate school with passion and church school. It kills me. But at least I can daydream and come here everyday. Hopefully things will get better by Christmas.

Here's a quote my sister told me: "Reality is for those with little imagination." (At least I think that's what she said.)

My response: That's me.

Anyway, since I can't update on time this shout-out is for PARK CHANYEOL! HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY HAPPY VIRUS! ALWAYS BRIGHTEN OUR DAY WITH YOUR GOOFY TOOTHY SMILE AND MOODMAKING ENERGY! YOUR BABY FACE AND BARITONE VOICE ARE JJANG! PLEASE STAY HAPPY AND HEALTHY AND NEVER STRAY FROM EXO! (I wonder what Baekhyun is going to do for your birthday? >.<)

Thank you for anyone who commented, because I was honestly crying or laughing on some of them. Love you! <3 Thanks for anyone who glanced at my first blog post. EXO MUST WIN THE MAMA AWARDS! NO CHEATING! I am an advocate of justice.

Anything in red is Mandarin and green is Japanese. Note: small clips of flashbacks in here.

Read on my lovelies. <3

(Third Person POV)

So during the last week before the designated departure time for the senior's summer field trip, all the guardians prepared themselves for...well, anything.

By tampering with emotional climate and utilizing his suave voice control, Onew effortlessly granted permission for him, Jonghyun, Suho, Chanyeol, and D.O to be excused early for summer vacation. Jonghyun already purchased enough plane tickets for everyone. Destination: Tokyo, Japan.

Now for those who were Japanese-incompetent - which was practically everyone except Alaina, Taemin, Key, and Onew - they had to brush up on those nonexistent Japanese skills pretty fast. That meant stuffing a heap-load of culture, language, and other everyday knowledge into their brains. Alaina handed over a bunch of maps and some pictures to show her guardians the basic layout of Tokyo and supplied them with hints - mostly about traffic and important landmarks. Tao and Lay were very intrigued about the girl's hometown. They bombarded her with a mountainous amount of questions.

"Ooh! We have to go shopping! Buy a new wardrobe!" gushed Tao, bouncing up and down in his seat. "I can dress up Alaina!"

Alaina and Kris mentally sweatdropped, because one, Alaina did not want to be a doll, and two, Kris knew his wallet would be very empty soon. Lay laughed at their deadpanned expressions. Inwardly, Alaina was smiling because Tao was unintentionally lifting her spirits about returning home.

Sleeve over her hand, Alaina daintily patted Tao's bobbing head. "Xie Xie, cute panda," she said in her best Chinese. The present three Chinese-speakers smiled approvingly.

When Alaina wasn't advising her guardians about Tokyo, much to her (jealous) soulmates' distaste, she continued her practice sessions with Luhan. Since Exo-M regularly bunked at SHINee's house now, Luhan would be accessibly present to teach Alaina. Of course Taemin's and Kai's patience were being tested to the limit everytime they had to stay away from their soulmate. (Stupid deer for suggesting four hours of sensory practice.)

Lounging in Onew's office, the leaders were conversing with B.A.P. over the phone. Apparently, the search for Block B was still unsatisfactory.

"Just the same old same old," commented Youngjae over speaker phone. "Their trails are very faint in some places - like we missed them long ago."

"Any demons?" asked Suho.

"Not much," put in Daehyun. "Though small-fry were easy to kill."

"Any signs of your ex-brothers?" inquired Onew.

There was a disgruntled sound. "Ani, none," confirmed Daehyun.

"Do you want us to postpone the investigation and come back to patrol the area while you guys are gone?" asked Yongguk. He ignored Zelo's 'Aw! But I want to go to Japan with Alaina-noona!'

Onew, Suho, and Kris exchanged deliberating glances. "Ne, that would be a safer choice," agreed Onew. "It'd be a bad idea to leave the area unguarded."

"Araso," replied Yongguk. "We'll be back an estimated of two days. Bye, then."

"Bye," chorused the three leaders and Kris ended the call.

Suho leaned forward in his seat. "Did you receive any messages from SNSD yet?"

Kris opened the lid of his M-Tech laptop. He skimmed through it. "Hmm...ne. Taeyeon sent me a message." Kris read to himself in a low voice while Onew and Suho listened attentively. "Wondering why I'm asking- I DID NOT LOSE TO A GIRL!" Onew and Suho restrained amused laughs at Kris' indignant squawk. "Araso, araso...something about keeping your mind focused away from the she-demons by thinking outside the box... Don't be fooled by their beauty, charm, or taunts blah blah blah... Don't use offensive but defensive tactics instead..."

Onew tilted his head musingly. "Isn't that we've been trying to do? Well, except for switching our battle tactics. We've never fought with them before."

Kris huffed. "Humph, based on Taeyeon's breakdown, every she-demon has this type of enticing 'scent' or tenor that bedazzles people. That's why she stated to focus your mind - to think of clear, purposeful thoughts. Also, how are we suppose to fight or defend ourselves when the she-demons powers - derived from what f(x) tells us - will just easily knock out our senses and defeat us?"

Onew rubbed his chin, pondering deeply. "Ne, good point..." He glanced up with his small, twinkling eyes. "Kris...how far does Luhan's powers extend?"

...

Luhan placed a hand on his hip (trying not to express how annoyed he was that his bonding time with Alaina was cut short). "You want me to what?"

"Create a type of...mental barrier inside a person mind," reiterated Onew, rubbing his hands together anxiously. "Like how Key shrouds us with his barriers, but for you...you just try to block out any mind-trickiness" - he emphasized that with jazz fingers - "that's being directed at a person."

Luhan's delicate brows scrunched down low in perplexity. "How do you suppose I do that? I've never done that before."

"Not only that, we only have a few days until we depart," whispered Alaina, standing off to the side.

"It's only a suggestion," hinted Suho, "but a very potent advantage versus the she-demons."

"I say you go with it, hyung," slipped in Kai snidely, reaching out to pull Alaina closer to his side. She frowned at his touchiness. Luhan looked at the grinning boy blatantly.

Luhan crossed his arms. "So how do I practice? On guinea pigs?"

"Not real guinea pigs, right?" Alaina looked concerned.

Kai chuckled amusedly and ruffled his soulmate's hair. "It was just a figure of speech, jagiya." And Alaina relaxed at that.

While secretly gawking at Alaina, a lightbulb blinked on in Luhan's head. He snapped his fingers. "Ah! That's it! Princess can help me! That way she's also training!"

Kai scowled. "Wae?"

"How so?" Kris inquired dubiously, not aligned with his friend's thoughts.

Luhan grinned cutely. "Princess can test her powers, that's how. Princess will be honing her 'transmission' powers, but I'll be there to see if I can block her out."

Kris' deep-set brows raised appraisingly. "That's a good idea, Luhan. Maybe your brains are useful afterall."

"Yah, you arrogant brat!" Luhan whacked Kris who chuckled, not even hurt.

Alaina's slim shoulders sunk. "Great, more work," she sighed.

"I'll be the guinea pig," offered Kai quickly and glared at the smirking Luhan. "Not literally, though."

Onew patted Kai's shoulder gratefully. "Someone from SHINee will switch with you later - because Alaina has to be touching the person in order for her transmission power to activate."

Kai nodded. "Araso."

The three leaders returned back inside the house while Luhan, Kai, and Alaina sat on the backyard grass in a loose circle. Kai was griping Alaina's right hand tightly but tenderly. Alaina's ES was very calm at his touch, matching the steady pace of her breathing.

"Araso, so how should we start?" Alaina began in a business-like manner.

"Let's start with a scenario," suggested Luhan reasonably. "Let's say a Mentalist was already affecting Kai, so I have to jump in and try to ward off whatever was assaulting his mind."

Kai looked apprehensive. "I'm not going to have major headache, am I?"

Luhan pretended to look innocent. "I have no clue, but we'll find out soon, huh?"

Kai sighed lowly and glanced at Alaina. "Go easy on me, araso, jagiya?"

Alaina nodded and a knit formed between her brows as she began to concentrate, ignoring her surroundings. Kai distracted himself by staring lovingly at his soulmate's peaceful, sweet face. Luhan wanted to do the same, but had to focus on Kai's mind. Since he was more experienced, Luhan could pay attention to both his surroundings while drifting into the dimension of subconsciousness. He waited while Alaina silently transferred whatever memory or emotion to Kai.

Kai blinked uncomprehendingly at this fuzzy feeling, the first time Alaina ever exhibited her transmission power on him. She was sending him a memory. Behind his view of the real world, a type of mental image conjured up in his mind.

So this is what I looked like when Alaina first saw me, he thought gently. He had to admit, there was something enchanting how Alaina portrayed him through her eyes - as if he truly was this godly entity.

The images - memories to be precise - floated around aimlessly because Alaina didn't know which one to emphasize on. So Kai just saw a bunch of them. Kai wanted to melt into a puddle. The way Alaina cherished him was utterly heartwarming and incredibly loving. He saw the times Alaina caught him staring at her. He felt the flushed sensation Alaina had when his skin touched hers. He was captivated when she was mesmerized by the warm, down-to-earth gleam in his mocha eyes...

Then Kai sensed something odd barging into his mind, like someone had stepped through a door and was wandering around in a private room. It was like hands were cradling his brain...

He stiffened.

"Wait for it," he heard Luhan murmur beside him.

A shaky exhale escaped Alaina's pale pink lips as she fought against Luhan in Kai's head. The older boy barricaded any access into Kai's mind by enforcing a brick wall. Alaina attacked the barrier, trying to slip through. The assailing forces bashed his brain, but it wasn't real.

This time, Kai winced. He swore he could actually feel the push and pull in his head.

I'm going to kill Luhan-hyung, he grumbled. I am getting a headache.

Then Alaina's breathing hitched and she gasped. One opposing force Kai felt in his brain backpedaled, giving up, and disappeared. He no longer could 'see' Alaina's memories.

Get out of my head, hyung, Kai growled, knowing full-well the deer was snooping around.

Kai heard a laughing echo and the wall fabricated in his mind crumbled down. In the real world, Luhan and Alaina both straightened up from their rigid positions, watching Kai irritably rubbed his forehead.

"That hurt," he complained.

Cool, petite fingers pressed against his forehead, and his headache instantly ebbed away. He sighed contently.

"Mianhae, Jongin," murmured Alaina, gaze gentle.

Luhan raised an interested brow, not used to people addressing Kai by his real name.

Of course she can, he reasoned with himself. Duh, she's Kai's soulmate. He smothered a goofy grin. I bet she's annoyed that I don't address her by her real name.

Luhan would never admit out loud he liked saying her name.

Luhan snapped from his reverie when Alaina directed a small, approving smile at him. "I guessed Onew-oppa's idea worked?"

Luhan nodded, inclining his chin at the mentally exhausted Kai. "Ne, but I need to be more gentle on the whole barrier detail."

"And more sneaky when you step into my mind," Kai mumbled. "My head felt heavy and clamored."

"Understood." Luhan laughed humorously, hand over his mouth. "Why are you complaining when you volunteered?"

"Don't make me punch you," Kai threatened, eyes narrowing.

Alaina smiled sweetly, not intending to break up their silly banter because she found it brotherly.

...

The sound of a stack of paper smacking a metal tabletop broke the eerie silence in the dark, cold room.

Someone scoffed, but that was changed into a smirk. "Everything is falling into place."

"Looks like we proved those brats we were right afterall," a chiming, feminine voice mused. "And here they complained waiting until summer was stupid." A sweet peal of laughter was spine-tingling.

"The only way the plan goes awry now if those boys mess up on their part," inserted another womanly voice in a harsher tone.

"They better not," muttered someone else dryly. "But since they're the King's little pets, they won't disappoint...hopefully."

"There is no such thing as hoping for demons," the first voice said icily. "Besides, Block B's powers are very...unique. They won't fail. If they do, then they'll be getting hell from me." The person humphed in a lady-like manner.

"Scary, scary," commented the fourth voice and sighed.

"Only three more days..." whispered the first voice. "Then the Peacemaker's hell will begin."

...

(Alaina's POV)

To me, three days proceeded very swimmingly, like I had simply skipped from one day to the next. Preparations for our departure was accounted for. The experiment with Luhan' powers helped develop my own (although I was very sorry to Kai and SHINee for being the test subjects). My chest constricted, burdened by the mere thoughts of leaving the sanctuary I've grown accustomed to - Seoul - now to be returning home, and...the fact I had to ride an airplane again.

Just imagining an airplane made me queasy.

On a happy note, I was relieved when B.A.P. returned home unscathed. Not a single scratch on them. No big deal, Daehyun had commented to answer Suho's inquiries.

"We'll do our best to man the fort," Youngjae promised the leaders with a confident grin.

"We understand Alaina is more important," agreed Yongguk, nodding.

Zelo pouted, looking over at me pleadingly. "Can't I come, too?"

I smiled apologetically. "Mianhae, Zelo. But your brothers need all the help they can have protecting Seoul."

Zelo jutted out his lips more, but surrendered at my reason. "Fine~ I'll stay." He locked gazes with me firmly. "But promise to come back, araso?"

I nodded. "You bet'cha." I drew an X over my heart. "Cross my heart or hope to die."

Zelo laughed at my cute actions, but he softened afterwards, eyes tinged with worry. He gently patted my arm. "Cross your heart...just don't ever die."

Oh, Zelo...

I lingered in my room for a precious moment that last night. It felt odd to be leaving, like a part of me was adhered here. Possibly because I've grown too accustomed to the cozy house, especially when I spent most of my days under house arrest (everyone kept apologizing for that). I sat at my desk, rereading Ayano's letters and patting the bear plushie Taemin won for me during our first date. That night, when sleeping cuddled up by Taemin's side, I dreamt of Tokyo's busy streets.

My dreams were vivid, like they were almost real.

"Oh? Alaina, look over there. They're selling fruit really cheap."

A memory?

"Hm? Hontou? Oh, they are. Those look ripe and juicy."

Why was I dreaming about this?

"We should buy a basketful so the kids can have a treat while they play."

I had a strange feeling like I was...

"Un, that's sounds like a good idea. I'll pay for half. I guess we're lucky today, ne, Yuki?"

...sharing this dream with someone else.

I registered fingers brushing across my cheek with feather-like touches. I stirred, humming as I blearily peeked open my eyes. Taemin's forever youthful face was mere millimeters away, watching me affectionately, his auburn locks in a wild disarray. I wasn't keen when waking up, so seeing his ethereal face only made me more tongue-tied.

He kissed my brow and I giggled. "Had a nice dream?" he asked me softly. "You were smiling in your sleep."

I recalled the mellow dream, totally relaxed and content. That time, I'd still attended junior high while Yuki was in senior high; he had waited by my school's gates so we could head to the orphanage together. Casually walking down familiar streets, talking about our day, fondly thinking about our 'family'...that was just an ordinary day. Insignificant. But such insignificant day suddenly was more than that. It was a piece of me that reminded me of being normal...and fortunate.

My response was a content sigh, "Something like that." More like an epiphany.

Taemin didn't ensue the topic despite my vague reply. He smiled and nuzzled my cheek. "Kaja, time to get ready."

School officials informed us to be packed and ready at the academy's front gate by seven in the morning. From there, they would check off attendance, lecture us about important conduct and rules, then everyone would shuffle into the buses with their luggage to be transported to the airport.

Practically everyone was yawning as they slouched in their bus seats. The ride to the airport would be thrifty but unrushed, so they only had a decent amount of time to nap.

My guardians on the contrary...they were hyped up. Alert and focused. Any thoughts of sleep chased from their consciousness.

The older set of college guardians: Onew, Jonghyun, Suho, Chanyeol, and D.O, plus Exo-M, excluding their maknae, had taken the plane just before ours, so they would land in Tokyo first. I prayed nothing went wrong and Onew was taking good care of the others who were absolutely clueless in Japan.

As I stared solemnly out the bus window, watching the scenery pass by in a blur, a chin plopped on my shoulder, a cheek pressed against the base of my neck. His breathing stirred my shoulder-length hair. I hummed softly.

"Thinking about the others?" he asked me in a small voice.

"Un," I replied distractedly. "About everything."

"You think too much," he whined under his breath.

Without looking, I raised my hand to pat his cheek. "I know."

Soft lips kissed my neck. His long, slender arm s between my back and the seat to cradle me closer into his side. "Why don't you take a nap?"

Taemin must've been less agitated since neither Miryo or Jea were present on this bus. The high school guardians were surrounded around Taemin and I. Sehun and Kai were napping in the row behind us (I think Kai's brow was twitching in annoyance because Taemin was sitting with me instead if him). In front of us, Baekhyun and Tao were babbling about how exciting and interesting the trip was going to be. Minho and Key were across the aisle, conversing in low, cautious voices. Eunmi, Kyungmi, and Jae were clumped with their friends further up front.

It's not like the she-demons would make a snap-decision to employ a dramatic bus wreck to kidnap me, would they?

I sighed and snuggled against Taemin, my head tucked under his chin. This time, he hummed contently, pecking my temple. "Go to sleep, yeobo~" he cooed to me and I let my eyelids droop.

...

I would've fretted that there was a possibility the she-demons could employ a theatrical airplane crash that could've be posted on the tabloids by tomorrow versus a dramatic bus wreck, honestly I should've been, but...I was getting nauseous.

No, I was nauseous.

"Can you PLEASE tell them to STOP laughing?" I groaned, unamused and moody as I curled up in my seat, eyes lidded over. The seating was almost similar that it was in the bus. I had the window seat; the blind covering the view. Taemin was my seat buddy (he and Kai switched often). In the row before us were the two chortling babos. Behind us were Kai and Tao, both more quiet and civil. Key and Minho were across the small aisle, in the three-seat row. I saw glimpses of Eunmi, Jae, and Kyungmi near them.

"Yah, be quiet, you two," Key snapped at Sehun and Baekhyun who were snickering. "My baby is sick and you're not making her feel any better."

"I can't believe you get motion sickness on airplanes!" laughed Baekhyun, but quiet enough not to disturb other passengers. "The look you had on your face during lift-off was hi-la-ri-ous!"

Laughs dying, Sehun peered through the crevice between the seats. "Are you okay, Alaina?" he asked cutely, genuinely concerned. His puppy-dog eyes were heart-wrenching. "I didn't mean to offend you."

"I'm fine," I mumbled and leaned my head on Taemin's shoulder.

"Yah, why is it you two are always cuddling?" Kai huffed, kicking the back of Taemin's seat. The latter humphed and ignored his whiny friend.

Tao held his finger to his lips. "Shh, Kai. Peacemaker is sick. She needs quiet."

Kai sulked. Unknown to him, view obscured by the seats, Tao reached out to bump fists with Taemin. Thank you, panda.

Taemin tucked the spare blanket around me more securely. He had refused to let Key take his spot to baby me.

Minho finally retrieved the small traveling pack from the compartment and tossed it to Key. The mother figure rummaged through the pack and handed something over to Taemin to pass to me. "Here, some medicine to ease the sickness."

"Komawo," I sighed as I swallowed the pills and Taemin gave me a water bottle to chug it down with. Soon I felt better, less queasy, but I was still shaky and rock-solid in my seat.

Sehun stifled another laugh. "You look funny, Princess. Like a trembling chihuahua."

I ignored the witty comment and closed my eyes, burying my face in the crook of Taemin's neck. "Just another hour and we'll land..."

He couldn't handle the snugness that excluded him any longer, Kai tapped Taemin's shoulder who glanced his way without jostling me from my nap. "Yah, hyung, switch with me," he whispered. "I know something that'll make her feel better."

Taemin frowned. "Jinja? Like what?"

"Something you didn't do yet, now move your ."

Taemin sighed. Carefully, without disrupting my nap, he eased my head onto the cushion of the seat. Then he swiftly switched spots with Kai who smoothly settled himself next to me, reaching out to position my head on his shoulder.

"Remember, there's other people around," Taemin hissed under his breath. "Don't do anything suggestive."

"I know, geez." Kai rolled his eyes. He unraveled his headphones and placed one bud in my ear; he had the other. Plugging the headphones into his MP3 player, he selected one of Exo's original songs.

I slightly stirred at the melodious voice of D.O. being sung in my ear. I recognized Kai's cologne and smiled.

Ah, who cares who sees. He's mine, anyway.

I rested my cheek against his collarbone, his warmth shrouding me with comfort, and submerged into oblivion.

Kai smiled, too, thinking the same. He kissed my forehead and watched me nap.

...

That short, simple bliss napping with Kai while listening to his brethren's songs was a moment I cherished.

For one thing, I certainly didn't cherish the moments that proceeded after it.

Someone was shaking me gently, telling me to wake up. It turned out Kai was still my seat buddy and told me to buckle in my seat-belt because the plane was finally landing.

The plane dipped and slight tremors coursed through the cabin, making my stomach clench. I kept muttering, "Mianhae, mianhae" because I was crushing Kai's hand in my smaller one. He reassured me everything was fine though.

On the other hand, Sehun, Baekhyun, Tao, and Taemin were squished up against the windows, marveling over the populous city of Tokyo. Key and Minho rolled their eyes at the childish actions.

"Don't you want to take a peek outside?" Kai urged me in a soft voice, his warm breath tickling my cheek.

I sighed and gingerly leaned closer to the window.

The exact view I saw when I left.

Tall skyscrapers. Cars congesting the streets. Ant-sized people clogging the sidewalks and stores. A mountain side in the far distance. Numerous billboard signs with everything written in Japanese. Buildings and trees converged closer as the plane fluidly eased down on the runway. The speed of the plane slowed into a standstill.

There was a bing from the intercom. "We have landed in Tokyo, Japan. Please gather all your belongings and exit in a orderly fashion. We hope you enjoyed riding Seoul Airlines. Thank you."

Kai tugged on my arm, coaxing. "Kaja," he told me.

All of us grabbed our packs and hurried out of the plane down the stairs. Stepping onto my home turf, a breeze welcomed me, carrying along the scent I distinguished as Tokyo. Thick, somewhat polluted, mingled with other traveling scents. Tea, flowers, perfume, and whatnot.

I exhaled shakily, gripping my backpack strap tighter.

"Alaina!" squealed a chirpy voice and then I was glomped by Eunmi. Jae and Kyungmi were not far behind, joining up with my guardians and I. Eunmi's eyes were sparkling. "Tokyo is daebak! I can't wait to go sightseeing and shopping!"

I ignored how Tao perked up at the word shopping. I swear it was one of the first Korean words he learned.

I tried for a smile, patting her small back. "Ne, daebak," I agreed weakly.

Jae pointed to where our crowd was entering the airport building. "We have to do roll call again. Then they'll give us our hotel rooms."

Eunmi tugged on my arm blithely, dragging me along while everyone else followed at their own leisure pace.

I've never discerned how many times I would ever visit this airport before. Now I started to count.

Twice. I've walked upon these polished tiles twice.

My large school crowd was lounging near the waiting area with rows of hard plastic chairs. I paused, gaze landing to the front row of chairs. A scene magically played itself.

"Time to go."

"You know you were always an obaa-san to me. I always thought of you as one."

"Good thing I thought of you as my granddaughter. Be careful in Seoul. Control your...gifts and be a good person. Ne?"

"Un."

"Alaina!"

"Y-Yuki?"

"I almost couldn't make it. Here. I worked hard in earning the money."

"Y-Yuki, you - you're- Arigato!"

My hand crept to the sapphire flower pendent tucked under my collar, rubbing it habitually like I always did when I was preoccupied.

"Live your life and do good in Seoul. Sayonara, Alaina."

"Aieru!"

The memories vanished when a hand dropped on my shoulder, reeling me back to reality. "Yeobo?" implored Taemin worriedly.

I shook off the daze. "Wae? Taemin?"

He softened, seeing the stars in my eyes and the rapid flood of old memories. "They're calling out names and room numbers. Kaja."

Jae grinned when I hustled to her side. She nudged me with her elbow. "We're roomies, kid. So are Eunmi and Kyungmi."

I tried to return to grin enthusiastically. "Awesome."

The head teacher clapped his hands. "Araso, everyone, we'll be heading to the hotel first by buses! Then we'll have brunch and then start sightseeing at one o' clock! Everyone stay in groups and don't wander off! Understood?"

"Ne!" exclaimed the students exuberantly and laughed. Many bystanders gave us weird looks. Loudmouth Koreans.

The school had rented a handful of tourists buses that transported us to the hotel ten minutes away. The hotel was partially fancy and luxurious, something only SM Academy could pay for unlike other regular schools.

"Omo!" gasped my three roommates as we entered our modern suite.

I inwardly sweatdropped at my friends' silly reactions. I dropped my packs on my chosen bed.

"Komawo for suggesting Japan, unni!" Eunmi said to Jae happily.

Jae rolled her eyes. "Thank Alaina, not me. She was my inspiration."

Kyungmi draped an arm around me. "What do you think, Alaina? Home sweet home?"

I peered about the suite, decorated for comfort and enjoyment. I considered my friends surrounding me and the fun activities I would be participating later.

Home sweet home, right?

No, I'm in wrong place.
