The past 5 years flew quickly. The three went on their separate ways after the reality show that twisted their fates even more than it already was. Although there was an awkwardness that lingered between the three, they managed to remain friends, and continously helped each through the rough patches of their careers.

Their once close-knit relationship grew further apart two years ago, when Hoya decided to part ways with Woolim. Although Sunggyu was disappointed and angry at first, his anger subsided eventually. However, his relationship with Hoya never returned to normal.

Eunji only grew more popular over the years. With her many projects and overseas schedule, she hasn't had much time for anything-- not even dating. After her conflict with her relationship with Sunggyu, which was left ambigous after their untimely breakup, she didn't consider dating again for a long time.

But something... something remains inside her: the unsettling feeling of always wondering what could have been.

Fast forward to the beginning of autumn. The leaves had just begun to turn from green to orange, and the morning breeze has gotten much colder too. Maybe today is the day. No, this has to be.

The sun still hasn't fully risen when Eunji parked her car in the still, relatively empty parking lot facing the high metal gates that are blocking the base. She gets out of car, doing a quick stretch before grabbing a tote bag carrying stacks of lunchboxes filled with food she made herself. She steps into the tiled waiting room with an inexplicable feeling in her stomach. She wasn't exactly nervous, but not exactly comfortable. She wasn't entirely excited, but a part of her was still eager to see the person in the other room.

"Jung Eunji-ssi?", the officer calls her name out.

Eunji rises from her feet and follows the same officer that called her name. And once they reach they reach the large visitation room, a familiar voice echoes in the room.

"It's been a while, Eunji", the male voice says even before Eunji could lift her head up. "I've missed you".
