"Kris?"

"Hmm?"

A loud groan was heard as you shook him awake by the shoulders. Being a light sleeper, Kris woke up at your touch, but since he was feeling rather lazy, he just laid there with his eyes closed.

"Kris!" you yelled in annoyance, groaning when he just rolled over. You shook him a couple more times until you just gave up and called Chen, who had been waiting obediently a couple feet away.

"Come, Chen." you coldly turned around and walked ahead, back towards the path in which you came from.  He followed you, gulping when he realized that Kris wasn't tagging along. He was scared about what you would do if he or Kris ever disobeyed you.

Arriving back at the campsite, you sighed and shook your head at Kris' "bed". It had upset you when he refused to wake up. You didn't know why, and it nagged at you until you couldn't take it anymore.

A while after you and Chen arrived at the campsite, you had pulled out a pocket knife from your belt and began to gut/clean the fish, preparing it for dinner. All of a sudden, in the midst of your thoughts about Kris, you stood up and cursed loudly. It was loud enough for Chen to hear, and he abruptly stood up from looking at his journal.

You had forgotten about Chen, all because of that stupid, immature, and ungrateful Kris. You stabbed the knife in the fish you were preparing, setting it down and angrily stalking off into the darkening woods.

It would be completely dark in about an hour, which only deepened the frown on Chen's face.

He was going to have to find you and Kris, bringing both of you back before anything could happen.

sobs you guys, i'm currently on vacation in Italy and Greece with my family.. i've been such an of an author lately, and I think it'll only get worse for the next 17 days. I'll try to update as much as I can (thank you cheap Asian parents for the unstable/unreliable Internet). And if you guys read this long note, tell me who you want to end up with right now~ haha I love you silent readers~ and please excuse typos cuz its 2 in the morning and im on my phone lol. (x
