The sounds of hard breathing and sobbing mixed perfectly on the empty dark tunnel. Hae-Ri fastened her steps, eventhough she felt so exhausted physically and mentally. She really couldn't waste her time. Time is more precious than gold at this moment. They must succeed this time, succeed in saving Junsu from Tenebris and Venomous. No other word, just MUST. Vere had lost so much important things just to made this mission succeed, and the last sacrifice just came in front of her eyes. She had lost her Queen, the mother of Vere. And the most painful thing was she could do nothing to save her. Her magic totally had drained because of her previous battle and because of that, she couldn't cast a cure spell on the Queen's wounds. She couldn't help but blaming herself for that.

Thinking of that, Hae-Ri felt like a tight rope wrapped her chest up. It was all her fault. If only she was stronger, if only they hide Junsu earlier, before Tenebris came.. If only she had the vision earlier.. If only.. if only ..and the other if only keep poppping in her head. Her tears dropped freely from her dirty face, but she really couldn't care at all. She wiped them harshly as she gripped her young prince in her embrace tightly. With her left hand, she made a small fire just to enlight the dark tunnel. She really didn't know until when she must run or where was the ending of the tunnel, but she did believe on the Queen. The fire floating on their heads, showing the road of the tunnel ahead and following them run along the tunnel.

"Hiks..hiks..Hae-Ri.. give me back to my Umma.. Please.. I just wanna see my Umma.. We couldn't just left her alone like that.. How if those bad guys catch them? She'll be lonely if we don't accompany her.." Little Junsu sobbed continuosly. His eyes swollen and his nose was red as a tomato, but it didn't stop the tears from his chubby cheek.

"Please..Please..bring me back to my Umma, Hae-Ri.. I'm begging to you.. Please.." Little Junsu said lowly between his hiccups, begging to his nanny to let him met his Umma behind the secret tunnel. Hearing that, Hae-Ri felt her heart broken into thousands pieces. How useless she was, couldn't protect her queen, and the result now, her dearest prince won't be able to see his Umma again, just because of her weakness!! Unable to hide her sad feeling anymore, He-Ri put down her little Prince and looked straight to his prince's eyes. What she saw there was more than enough to made herself down. Hae-Ri used to see that brown light eyes shines brightly, so playfull, emitting the light of life and tenderness, but now all that she saw just pure sadness and fear. Those red swollen eyes replied her gaze in a sad way, his tear-tadpole eyes emitting the crystal tears nonstoply. Seeing that, Hae-Ri hugged Little Junsu tightly, as she said to her prince,

"I'm sorry for my uselessness, My Prince, I'm sorry. I must die for this sin. But please, please don't gave me that sad look. I really couldn't stand with that. please.. I just wanna see you smile and safe.. I just wanna protect you. Please..trust me..trust me to protect you.." Hae-Ri cried desperately. She knew that she must strong at this time, she shouldn't burdened his prince, but she really couldn't help it. It just came out naturally.

Hearing his nanny cried, Little Junsu could only stunned. He stoppped his crying right away, too shock for seeing his nanny cried. He never saw his nanny cried like this. And Little Junsu felt so sorry for his nanny. He knew it that his nanny just want to give him the best, and at that time he decided to trust his nanny. With his free hand, Little Junsu hugged Hae-Ri back.

"No, Hae-Ri.. don't talk about death.. please let us be alive together peacefully.. okay? Promise me.." Little Junsu said softly. His tiny hand cupped Hae-Ri's faces tightly and gave her a peck on the cheek.

"I trust you, Hae-Ri. Because for me, you're like my second mom. I love you, Hae-Ri." Little Junsu said as he hugged his nanny. Hearing Little Junsu's words, she smiled happily. She was so happy for His Prince's sentence. Hae-Ri just nodded to his Prince and hugged him back.

"Thanks, Prince Junsu. I love you too. I promised I'll protect you with all of my body and soul. I won't let anyone hurt you, not even a single piece." Hae-Ri felt the burden in her heart lifted. She felt much more better.

"Now, let's continue, okay Hae-Ri?" Little Junsu said as he broke the hug and ran along the tunnel. By that, Hae-Ri Following his prince with big smile plestered in her face. No more burden in her heart. the only thing that left in her was only to Protect Junsu, no matter what happen.

The Journey in the Tunnel felt so long. But they didn't give up. Hae-Ri, as she saw her little prince get tired because of walking too long on the tunnel, now carried him on her back. It was so much easier for her because she could fastened her speed. After two hours running on the tunnel, both of them arrived at the end of the tunnel and soon they found themselves in a familiar room. After examined the room in front of her, Hae-Ri suddenly recognized the room as the Green house of the Palace. A screaming joy suddenly popped in her head. If they were in the Green house, that mean the exit was right in front of them. After they came across this Green house, the Cadent forest was waiting ahead and that mean, it would gave them much more safety than in Vere area. She could hide on the darkness of the forest while waiting in the morning to ask some help from Cadent Kingdom. She hastily running across the Green house. But unfortunately, the Tenebris soldiers running to them from the exit door in front of them, as if they could smelt their scent from the far away.

"!!!!!! How could they come when we had so close to the exit?" Hae-Ri cursed in her head. She turned her direction and ran to the opposite way while thinking of the way out from this place. She must find a way, to save his prince. She couldn't lose when she was so close to the exit.

"You could run wherever you want, but you cannot escape, woman.. Hand me that boy!" a cold voice like an ice roaring around the Green house. Hae-Ri could recognized the voice in an instant. It was Venomous.

"!!! !! He had found us!! What should we do? I don't have any powers left. God..Please give me a way. Should I leave this place and search the other exit? But How could I pass all of the Soldiers who surrounded this place?" Hae-Ri prayed desperately in her heart. She knew that she won't be able to win against that monster in front of the exit room, but to looking for another way, It was as impossible as his condition right now. It was like they were mice in the trap! Have no way to exit, and she really hate condition like this.

"Hae-Ri.. who is that big guy? What did he mean by hand the boy? was he looking for something?" Little Junsu asked Hae-Ri in the little voice. He was so confused by the big man who talk earlier. Little Junsu didn't know why but he didn't like that guy. He was so scary and made him uncomfortable.

"Shhhh..Listen, My Prince. Keep silent, okay..don't talk even in a single word. We are playing hide and seek now. So we must not let that guy find us, okay? now, stay close to me." Hae-Ri whispered at his Prince as she kept moving in order to find a way out from this critical situation. She moved quickly behind the big bushes near the Planting Room as in an instant, a hand pulled them into the room. Hae-Ri's mind getting panicked because whoever in that room had closed the door as the click sound was heard. She thought that it was one of the soldiers, so she started making a struggle against whoever behind them. No, They musn't get Junsu.. That's all in her mind.

"Shhhh..Hae-Ri be quiet, It's me, Your King." a voice whispered in her ear. She froze for a moment because of shocked and when he turned her head behind, there stood in front of them, the King of Vere. Looks like he was exhausted and injured, but more than that, he was okay. Seeing the King in front of her, she bowed immediately.

"My..My King.. thank God you're safe. How could you arrived in this place?" Hae-Ri shuttered, as she hadn't recovered from her shock earlier.

"Appaaaaaa!!! I'm so happy to meet you again!!" Little Junsu run to his appa and hugged him tightly. He was so happy to meet his appa again. The King just smiled seeing his son. He smiled softly as he returned the hug dearly. Both of them release the yearning of family. The king continued hugging his son as he kissed Little Junsu's cheek sofltly. After a moment, they broke the hug. The King turned his head to Hae-Ri and asked her,

"Hae-Ri.. Where's the Queen? I thought she should be with you and Junsu.." Hearing that, Hae-Ri's face turned into gloomy as she explained the situation to the King in the lowly voice. She didn't want Little Junsu remember that bad memory again. After finishing the explanation, The king's face turned to gloomy as he sat on the chair near him. He felt so sad. Losing his wife was a big hit for him, and now he felt like a big empty space fulfilling his heart. After sitting in a silence for a moment, the King finally getting his composure back. There was no time to sad tight now. He couldn't make her wife's sacrifices turn into nothing. an the only thing that he could do was he must made his son alive, in every way that he can, eventhough he must sacrifice himself. Gripping on the top of the chair, he stood up and made his way to Hae-Ri.

"Hae-Ri, We don't have so much time left. The more we spent the time here, the smaller our chance to get out from this place. Listen, We'll fight against them. I know you have no power left, so this time I'm the one who will face them. You do your job by protecting the prince. Do you bring the Hanbok?" The King asked Hae-Ri. Hae-Ri nodded her head and handed the King a beautiful small hanbok.

"Good..now Junsu..My son..Listen to me. Here, use this hanbok, okay.. now."

"Ehhh?? Hanbok? This is for a girl, appa. and I'm a boy. why should I wear this?" Little Junsu asked him questioning. He really couldn't understand his appa.

"Don't need to ask. Just wore it! Hae-Ri.. put that hanbok on him. Now!" The King ordered Hae-Ri. In one minute, Hae-Ri had made Little Junsu took off his cloack and changed it into a beautiful hanbok. She also changed Little Junsu's hair syle into a beautiful plait. The king smiled, satisfied of Hae-Ri's work. Now, in front of him stood the new Little Junsu. The Hanbok even made Little Junsu look prettier than ever. His tiny figure wrapped perfectly with the hanbok. His golden hair now braided into a beautiful plait, made his milky white skin even brighter than before. Those cute tadpole eyes narrowing and the pink round lips pouted, signed that that Little Prince didn't like at all wearing the hanbok.

Seeing the new "princess" in front of her, hae-Ri couldn't help but gasping. Little Junsu looked so pretty and cute in that hanbok. She even tried her best to restrain herself from pinching, hugging, or kissing the cute "princess" in front of her. She was sure if she did that, the "princess" would yell and cranky to her and she didn't want that.

"Now..Junsu.. After this, you must go away okay.. Go away with Hae-Ri as fast as you can." The King finally made an order after he examined his son. Hearing that, Hae-Ri suddenly rejected. She didn't want the King do that. It was enough seeing the Queen's sacrifice, and she didn't ready to see another one. The King understand the rejection and started explained to hae-Ri.

"Listen, Hae-Ri.. I couldn't go away with Junsu. Look at my hand.." The King said lowly as he showed his right arm to Hae-Ri. She could saw a horrible black scar on it.

"It is not an ordinary scar, Hae-Ri. It is a scar made by the black magic called Surm. It is one of the highest dark magic. It causes death in 6 hours after it was casted. Now you see, I couldn't protect Junsu. It is you the one who could protect him. The Queen had chosen you, and so do I." The King said as He patted Hae-Ri. Hae-Ri couldn't help but crying sadly. It was too hard for her losing two most important person in Vere, someone whom she considered as her own parents.

"Junsu..My son.. You hear me right? Now, i want you you to go with Hae-Ri.. okay? Go away from this place as fast as you can." The King squatted down and see his son right in front of his eyes. He felt so sad to lose his son like this. He really want to spend much more time with Junsu. Seeing his son grew up healthily, married or having beautiful kids, but he knew he couldn't do that. This is the only way to save his only son and he knew that he wouldn't regret it at all.

“Appa..appa please no.. I want to stay with you..please..” Little Junsu crying as he held his appa tightly. It felt same with his previous "hide and seek game" with his umma and now he was so afraid of playing this Hide and Seek game again. The king couldn’t help but cry onto his son’s hair. He kissed and his son’s hair lovingly as it was the last time he could do that to him.

“No..Junsu..listen to me.. you are a good boy..promise me you’ll run and hide.. far away from here. You must not let them find you. Okay? Here..You had worn this hanbok.. they’ll disguise you as a girl and not a boy.. remember Junsu..this secret is just between you and me..okay? don’t let anyone know about that until the time has come. Okay? Promise me?” The king raise his pinkie and hook it to his son’s pinkie.

“Yes, appa.. I promise to you..I promise.” Little Junsu managed said his promise while his appa brush his cheek.

“Good boy.. now Run..Run..!!!!” the King commanded Junsu and his nanny to move while he himself try to block the enemies. The door was banging by the soldiers and in any time the soldiers would ready to made an ambush. Hae-Ri saw there was no chance to face them all. She decided to pick all of their supplies and pick Little Junsu.

"My King.. I'm.. I'm so sorry.. If..If..only I was stronger." Hae-Ri stuttered as she failed to prevent her tears. She felt so much pain in her heart.

"That's okay, Hae-Ri.. One thing that I asked from you. Please keep your promise to me." The King said calmly as he created a big ice shield and a giant ice sword from both of his hands. He created a big ice bomb and in an instant the ice road was made, right into the exit of Vere Kingdom.

"Yes..I promised." Hae-Ri said as she bowed deeply for the last time to the King and started to run to the exit while carried Little Junsu in her embrace.

“No..nooooooooooo…..appaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!” Junsu’s sad sobs broke that bloody night while his body dragged forcely by his nanny to run away from that place.

“Good bye, Junsu..My son.. I will always remember you..” and with that last sentence, the door opened by the Tenebris Soldiers. In an instant hundreds of arrows rain onto the king’s body and with the last arrows on his heart, he closed his eyes peacefully..

The trip to Vere was far from fast in Little Yoochun's head. He really couldn't stand it anymore.

"Appa.. How long should we spend in this carriage? My Suie is waiting for me. Hurry..Hurry..," Little Yoochun said impatiently to his father in the carriage. The King could only exhale deeply towards his son's antics. He really didn't knew why his son felt so obsessive toward his son's friend. Wait, had he told him that Junsu was a boy?

"Yah..Son..Calm down.. We almost arrived.. By the way, you haven't come to Vere right? Ha.. I'm sure you'll regret it if you didn't visit this place once in your life. Look in front of you this is Vere Kingdom, known as the Spring of the Earth and this place is the most beau.." The King couldn't finished his sentences yet. In front of him, there was a big mess in Vere. There was no more beautiful Vere. All that left there was a Ruined Places on the giant thick snow. The King now rubbed his eyes, seems couldn't believe of what he saw in front of him. He quickly get down from the royal carriage and took a look around him.

"Guard.. Are you sure we came to the right place? I mean, maybe we came to Hiemo Kingdom.." The King's word trembled as he hoped that he came to the wrong place.

"I'm absolutely sure we came to the right place, Your Majesty. This is trully Vere, according to the compass and to the nameplate in front of the Kingdom Gate." The soldier show him the nameplate of the Kingdom in front of him. It was trully written as Vere Kingdom. But how could it be? It was imposibble for Vere having a thick snow like this, same like expecting the sun rises from the east. Vere never had a winter in their history!! And moreover, seems like a great war had happened in this place earlier because he still could see the trace of burned buildings and bloody clothes in a few spot of this place. The King felt something wrong had happened, so he made an quick order to his soldiers,

"Listen, stay on guard! I want all of you inspecting this place. Find someone, anyone here. I want to know what actually had happened in this place." The King gritted his teeth, preventing the worries that grew bigger in his heart. "And you young man, stay close with me!" the King ordered Little Yoochun to stick around with him. Little Yoochun just nodded a bit as he kept his pace in finding a trace of his Suie. The Cadent Soldiers spread themselves into every direction,while the King and Little Yoochun took their direction into The Palace. It was quite difficult for them because they often stumbled down because of the thick snow. The King decided to carried on his son and in 20 minutes they had reached a big ruins. It was almost unrecognizeable anymore, but soon the King knew that it was the palace that they were looking for.

"I think we had arrived at the Palace.. " The King said as he put down Little Yoochun. After his feet touching the ground, Little Yoochun suddenly dashed to the ruined building.

"Suie..Suie.. where are you? Suie.. This is me, Chunnie.. Suie..Suie.. answer me.." Little Yoochun hurriedly run along the snow, calling his Suie's name. He really couldn't think straight right now. all that he want just one: Find his Suie. He could hear his father yelled at him, asking him to come back but he didn't want to obeyed it. He fastened his speed and inspecting along the Palace. When he reached the back of the Palace, Little Yoochun's feet stucked into one big sword, made him felt down ti the icy snow. His feet was bleeding because of the cut. He could see his own blood stained the white snow under his feet, but he really didn't care at all. He continued his search until he reached one building. Seems like the building was made by glasses, seeing how the glasses roof had broken into thousand pieces.

He proceed that place as he felt his heart beating faster. He threw his gaze to every direction, trying to search any clue of his Suie. As if the God answer him, his eyes caught a golden fabric waving by the cold wind right in the middle of the building, tied on the woods in the glass building. He made his steps closer little by little. His feet now felt so cold, almost frozen but he countinued made his way to the golden fabric. He took the golden fabric on the wood and inspecting them carefully. And in an instant, he could recognized it. It was His Suie's belt. His Suie wore it at their first meeting on their secret place. He remembered it clearly!! And now the golden belt was on his hand, ripped and stained by blood. Little Yoochun's eyes started emiiting tears, but he wiped it immediately.

"No..No.. please no.. Suieee..Suieeee.. Where are you.. Chunnie is here.. I came for you..Suie..Suie.." Little Yocchun cried histerically on the snow. His hand started digging on the snowy ground, tried to ease the pain in his heart. But, surprisingly after a few dig, he felt something on his hand. Another fabric was found. He took it out from the snow and what he saw there was more than enough to broke him into thousand pieces. It was a small white cloack, made by the silk and stained by so many blood. And the worst thing, it was belong to his Suie. He could recognized it by the Vanilla and Fresh Lemon Scent that emitting from the cloack was same with his Suie's scent that he was longing for. He dropped his knee on the snow, crying out his heart badly. It felt so painful, like holing and ripped his heart harshly. Never in his life he felt something like this. It felt like half of him had died at the time he found the golden belt and that cloack. 

"Suie..Suie..Hiks..Hiks..Suie.. Why don't you wait Chunnie a bit longer? Chunnie have found you at last..How could you leave me like this, Suie.." Little Yoochun continued crying on the snowy ground while hugging the bloody cloack and belt dearly. The snow rain started dropping from the sky, as if understood his sadness. A few steps was heard behind him and one second later, he felt a warm mantel wrapped along his body.

"Come on, Son.. Let's go home.. It is a hard day for you. Come.. I'll ask the soldiers to clean this mess." The Cadent King had come and squatted next to Little Yoochun. His voice also reflect sadness because he also lost his bestfriend. But this time, he must not seen weak. He must kept strong for his dear son.

Little Yoochun didn't answer his father, but he kept crying and crying. His eyes now red and swollen, his lips getting blue because of the cold, and he was trembling so hard. But he still didn't want to move from that place or put down the fabrics that he found earlier. At that time, The King decided to carry his son. Little Yoochun didn't give any fight when he moved from his previous spot. But he resisted not to throw away those fabrics. The Cadent King gave up and decided to leave the place faster after he saw his son's state. When they left almost left the Green house, Little Yoochun asked his father to put him down. He wanted to to give his final goodbye to His Suie. 

"Suie..Although we only met once, but never in my life I regret it. The only thing that I regret is I'm not able to protect you until..un..until..you have to..to..go.. a.. away from me. I promise I will visit you often.. so..so..you don't felt lonely here. Chun..Chunnie loves Su.. Suie..Always.." Little Yoochun stammered as he said those words. His tears kept flowing freely on his cheeks as he dragged his feet away from Vere's Green House.

Oh my God.. This story had reached Chapter 11.. that means I must fastened this fanfic. I'm afraid it will take so many chapters to finished this fanfic. hehehehehe.. and again, I'm so sorry if I took a long long time to update. This bad flu and extra-works really took my time.. I'll try to do better for the next chapters.

By the way.. This is the closing chapter for the past of Litle Junsu and Little Yoochun. The next chapters will tell us about the love life of the these five gorgeous teenagers.. hihihihihi.. I'm planning to make their lovelife become spicy and yummy.. so please give me your support!!! bear with me till the end. *bow*
