-Lucky's Pov-

I couldn't sleep. It was almost 4 in the morning, and I hadn't gotten a wink of sleep during the night. I just really missed home, and the time change hadn't been kind to me. I'd be tired during the day, but forced myself to stay up, and at night I'd force myself to close my eyes, but I couldn't fall asleep.

So I decided to just get up. As quietly as I could, I walked out of my bedroom, which was exactly opposite from Taemin's, and walked to the staircase. I'm pretty sure his friends are all sleeping in his room, so I can just wander about until I hopefully get tired. I entered the living room to see that all the lights were still on, *had the guys even gone to bed?*

I krept up to the sofa, and almost cooed at the sight. Onew, Jonghyun, Key, and Taemin were sprawled on the floor, close together, the night air making them cold. Minho slept on the actual sofa, curled up into a tiny ball. Where, when, or how they changed into pyjamas is beyond me, but it was just so adorable how they were so close, *like brothers*

I quickly ran upstairs and into my bedroom, I had packed extra blankets from the States, don't ask me why. I quickly grabbed some blankets, and made my way back downstairs. I covered Minho first, since he was all alone and only had his own body warmth. I saw him relax into the blanket after a few moments and smiled, he looked so peaceful... they all did.

I then looked at the blankets in my arms... two more. I looked down at the guys on the floor and figured out how to split these blankets between them. Jonghyun and Key shared a blanket, as did Onew and Taemin. I then realized something more, they didn't have pillows! -.-

*Do I have to do everything?!?!*

I ran back up the stairs and into my room, grabbing all the pillows I could off my bed and quickly shifted them underneath the heads of the sleeping boys. They had accidently fallen asleep while playing video games, I realized, for the Xbox 360 was on pause and there was junk all over the place. I cleared everything away, and turned off the television so they can sleep without the light shining into their eyes. On my way to shut off the lights, I heard shuffling, and looked back only to see Taemin roll closer to his "brothers". That was so adorable!!!!

But then his eyes opened, and I was frozen on spot. He looked around, confused as to how he had gotten there, and then his gaze focused on me. I krept over to him, and smiled, letting him lay down again. He gave me a brief, but tired smile and I pat his head as he closed his eyes once more. I held my breath until I could hear his snores along with the others. I couldn't help but smile again at them, and turned off the lights.

I felt really good about myself after I did that, but I still couldn't go to bed. -.-
So I laid awake in bed all morning.

-Jonghyun's Pov-

I guess I was the first to wake up in the morning, at 9 am. Because when I did, I almost screamed. I was sleeping on the floor with three of my best friends, with one on the sofa... but that didn't surprise me, we're best friends. What did surprise me is that I was sleeping ontop of a pillow, and there was a blanket ontop of me, which was being shared with Key. The others were in the same position, and Minho's feet were poking out over the edge of the couch.

One of the servants must've come in here to check on us. I tried going back to sleep, but Key, Onew, and Minho had already woken. They looked confused about our sudden "beds", but none of us remembered getting these last night. The servant that worked during the night walked in at that moment, and I called to her; "Thank you for the extra pillows and blankets."

She looked at me like I was crazy; "I'm sorry sir, I didn't supply you with any pillows or blankets."

"Then maybe they fell out of the sky." Key said sleepily as he flipped over to his other side, but I forced him to sit up.

"Maybe we should ask Taemin." Minho suggested; "He does live here."

Onew nudged the younger member of their group, and Taemin sat up dreamily; "Goodmor-" he almost fell back to sleep, but Onew shook him again several times until he snapped awake.

"Do you know how these got here?" Onew asked him.

Taemin thought about it for a long moment, and then his eyes went wide; "Lucky brought it for us last night."

"Lucky?" We all asked in disbelief.

"What about me?" Lucky asked. She was already awake? Well duh. -.- But she did have small circles under her eyes and her usual tough attitude was toned down just a smudge.

"Did you..." I asked, pointing down to the sheets and blankets.

Lucky looked like she was about to deny it, but nodded; "Well I was still awake at 4, and when I came down here I figured you guys were cold so I let you use some of my blankets."

"What were you doing at 4 in the morning?" Onew asked her in curiousity. To be honest, I was curious too.

"Time change, not used to sleeping so early in my time." Lucky explained.

She was so confusing... one minute she's tough, and then she's giving us blankets because we're cold?! What type of logic is this?

"Thank you Noona." Taemin said cutely.

She only smiled briefly and walked towards the kitchen; "I told the kitchen staff to take the day off so I'm cooking today, hope you don't mind."

Wow, first she gives us blankets to keep warm in the middle of the night, and now she's cooking for us?! What type of world do I live in?!?

"I'll help you, you're probably useless in the kitchen anyway." Key said with a snort. I felt something in my gut, like she would turn around and hit him or something.

"Whatever." was her only response. The guys and I exchanged looks... why did she just let him off like that. She paused and turned around; "Do me a favor, just throw that stuff on my bed, I'll fix it later."

I then remembered we used her pillows. They were still on the ground, as were her blankets and I felt a bit guilty. Here I thought she was a complete b*tch, and she was kind enough to give us her pillows and blankets. I just pulled all the blankets and dragged them up the staircase, Minho, Taemin, and Onew were behind me holding their pillows. Taemin was the only one who knew the bedroom positioning so I let him lead us into her room. Truthfully, I imagined black walls, and deathcore posters on the walls. Boy was I wrong... Her walls were a dark purple and she had an actual princess bed. Yeah, I know... her, a princess bed. -.-

Her suitcases were stacked by the walk in closet, and the one all the way at top was open, inside was one single blanket and some towels. Where was she planning to go with all these blankets?! We just threw the blankets on her bed like she asked, noticing that all her pillows were gone, and Minho's mouth opened in shock.

"We were sleeping on her pillows?"  Minho wondered.

"Poor girl." Onew sighed as he looked around; "I wonder how she feels, moving here from America. It must be so different."

Eh, it's not my problem, I have other things to worry about than some "tough girl's" life. I mean, come on, I'm the heir to a wealthy business, plus I do still go to school. Shrugging, we went back downstairs and into the kitchen, only to hear pots and pans being shaken and clanged into one another.

-Key's Pov-

I don't know how this girl grew up, but I keep seeing one surprise after another! Here we are, in the kitchen, and this girl is just breezing through. She'd already made a large pot of scrambled eggs, and put a bunch of bacon strips in a frying pan. While those were cooking, she was also making pancakes!

Well of course I helped, scrambling the eggs, watching the bacon, but still... where had she been learning?! I flashed back to how Hong Ki referred to her as a big sister, and I disagreed... she was more like a mother! She told me to flip the last pancake onto the tray, and I did so she could go make coffee for us. I was about to remind her Taemin only liked Banana Milk, but she pulled out a bottle of it from the fridge, as well as a bottle of Chocolate Milk. I was gonna ask who that was for, but then she opened it and drank some so I figured it out. :P

"Make sure you turn off the fire." She informed me. Oops, I guess I forgot to turn it off. But I obviously wouldn't have figured it out on my own, sarcasm. >:|

The guys barged into the kitchen and stood there, mouths agape to the food waiting for them. I shook my head at their faces; "None of you can eat until you brush your teeth."

"Well you didn't brush your teeth." Taemin pouted.

"I know, that's why I'm going too." I said simply, pushing past them to the kitchen door to head to the bathroom. We were already done, so I'm sure Lucky didn't need my help.

"If you're not down in 10 minutes, I'll give all this food to the servants." Mindy called after us. We rushed to the bathrooms with toothbrushes the maids had left us, and thank god they live in a big mansion. -.-

As I brushed my teeth, I couldn't help but compare Lucky to Jessica. Jessica was really cruel, and would bully everyone. Lucky, on the other hand was just tough and only said something mean if she really didn't like the way you were acting towards her. She actually was pretty kind, considering what she did for us last night... there's actually a lot we don't know about her either, but I'm hoping we could learn more... unless she'd rather think of us as good for nothing bad boys. I walked back downstairs to the dining area, where the table was set. There were 6 plates on the table, and 4 cups of coffee, as well as a glass of Banana Milk. The food still wasn't served, and Lucky was nowhere to be seen.

And apparently, the other guys were so hungry they reached the table before me. -.-

Suddenly the kitchedn door swung open, and the tray of pancakes was brought out and put down on the table. Lucky gave us a sharp, 'do not eat' look, and went back in the kitchen, this time returning with the bacon and eggs. She went around the table, serrving each of us a portion of eggs and bacon. After serving us our breakfast, she served herself, much less than what we got, and sat back down on her chair.

Onew was the first to try the food, putting a strip of bacon in his mouth and giving us a thumbs up before continuing. I laughed at that, it was as if they expected me, the Almighty Key, to cook something bad! Lucky suddenly jumped up from her chair and went back into the kitchen, returning with her Chocolate Milk. I gave her a look, was that really necessary?

We ate, the guys and I talked about the usual stuff... girls, school, our family... she just listened and smiled in appropriate times. I wonder why she didn't give us any input? Maybe she was being friendly? Or maybe she just didn't want us to know anything about her? I decided to try and break the silence with her; "Hey Lucky, was your life ever interesting?"

She was drinking her Chocolate Milk when I asked her that and suddenly started to choke. That wasn't very appetizing, but it was funny. I stifled a chuckle as she calmed herself down. She looked right into my eyes with her big, milky brown eyes; "I don't think that's very nice to ask. Of course I had an interesting life!" She looked like a little child when she defended herself like that; "My father had me enrolled in fighting classes since I was only 10, and Hong Ki and I met there... just so you know, I kicked his ."

"That's interesting to you?" Jonghyun asked her; "We've crashed parties, cut school, hopped a fence or two..."

Why would he tell her that?

"Have you ever gone bungee jumping?" She asked; "Sky diving? Cliff diving? Snowboarding?"

"You've done all of that?" Taemin asked with ide eyes; "Aren't they dangerous Noona?"

"Yup, and that's why I'm so tough now." she replied; "You don't run from your fears, you face them."

"Don't tell me you aren't afraid of anything anymore." Onew grimaced. That actually does fit her.

"I'm not afraid." Lucky told him simply.

Wow, I'm actually surprised, we learned a lot about Lucky in the course of a single weekend. But of course, there's still a lot more to learn about her. After breakfast, we had to go, and left Lucky and Taemin alone to do whatever they wanted to do. Lucky said she was going to sleep, and Taemin said he was going to stay at home and be lazy. I guess we'll just see them in school on monday.
