Flipping through his favourite series, admiring how the fighting scenes of the story were drawn, he traced his finger across the page, in awe at what he may consider perfection. Oh how Yukwon loved his One Piece collection, it was like he was brought into a new world everytime he would run through his volumes, it was the perfect way for him to relax and let time pass. Comfortably he laid on the floor, enjoying his time alone. Suddenly a finger hooked from the back of the book, slowly yanking the book away from the boy.

“ …?! .. oh it's you Jaehyo hyung “

“ Can I talk to you for a moment “

“ Sure..? “, the brunette sat up and closed his book carefully, then setting it aside, “ What's up? “.

Awkwardly the uljjang placed himself beside Yukwon, fiddling with his hands. He was clearly somewhat uncomfortable or nervous about something, it took awhile for him to actually speak up. Curiously Yukwon leaned in slightly, head cocked to the side, he didn't say a word but kept his eyes on Jaehyo. Taking a deep breath, settling his nerves down, Jaehyo finally loosened up.

“ What's it like being with a guy? “

For a brief moment, Yukwon's eyes enlarged at such a question, he didn't quite expect it. His face softened with a smile, “ It's not that different “. This surprised Jaehyo a bit, he didn't quite get what the younger boy meant. Yukwon stretched, making himself more comfortable, “ It's like dating anyone else, it's just that this person is the same gender as you I guess? “. The boy giggled for a moment.

“ If it's love, gender shouldn't really matter right? Or anything else for that matter “

The dancer shrugged and proceeded to giggle again. He blushed slightly, realizing what he had just said, “ Ah that was kind of embarassing wasn't it? “ . “ No, not really. It's quite true “, Jaehyo smiled, “ Thanks. Thanks a lot Kwon-ah “. With that Jaehyo got up, nodding to the younger boy before leaving him to go back to his comic book.

Earphones plugged into his ears, music almost at full volume, listening to every single beat played in the song and moving along to it as though it was second nature, Minhyuk let himself get lost in his music. Feeling the music, letting it flow through his body as he danced, it really was the best feeling for him till,

He received a text message, his music was cut off.

The boy couldn't help but sigh, having this moment of bliss interrupted. Eyes on the screen of his phone,

From : Kwonnie.

Message : You've got nothing to lose. Go for it hyung ^^

What? Do you expect me to read your mind?

Slightly confused, he rubbed the back of his head before replying the text.

What's that supposed to mean ?

It didn't take long till he received a reply from the other boy.

The sight of the text made Minhyuk facepalm, he could feel his face getting hot. It was normal for him to question why his friend would be so confident about this. Opening the door to leave the room, he found Jaehyo right before him, who was about to turn the knob. The taller boy took a step back out of surprise, wide eyed at the almost perfect timing. Minhyuk froze for a moment, this was definitely an awkward situation. Then he noticed Yukwon at a slight distance as he looked over Jaehyo's shoulder, the boy held out his hand with his thumb up, his cheeky smile on his face.

The boy vanished, leaving the two alone. Eventhough it didn't show physically, Minhyuk panicked on the inside, Ah what do I do?!

He felt a hand lightly clutch onto his shoulder, he looked up to see doe-like eyes directly looking into his.

The eye contact was uncomfortable, Jaehyo immediately taking his gaze off Minhyuk's. For a moment he hesitated. “ I-Is it okay to talk right now? “ the taller boy stuttered. He was getting flustered, unsure what to do. Minhyuk grabbed hold of the hand which was on his shoulder and pulled Jaehyo into the room, “ We can talk in here “.

Clearly Jaehyo was nervous while Minhyuk remained cool on the surface but on the inside, his heart was beating furiously. Trying to keep his cool, he brushed his locks of hair out of his face as he took a breath in. Heart, calm down will you. Awkward silence filled the room, not a single peep was heard from either one of the boys.

“ So um... “

“ I thought about it “

Minhyuk's full attention was now on Jaehyo, he didn't expect to be cut off like that, or by such words. Jaehyo sat himself on one of the beds, head slightly hanging as he stared at the floor boards of the room, his own fingers laced together. He still remained silent, the boy was too nervous to continue.

“ Did you hate it? “

They were still unable to look each other but when Minhyuk glanced over, Jaehyo shook his head.

“ Isn't it weird? “

“ That's like indirectly calling me weird “

“ I'm sorry “, nervously Jaehyo laughed.

“ What do you think of me then? “

As direct as it was, Minhyuk knew he had to ask. Looking over to Jaehyo, whose ears showed crimson, he waited for some sort of response. He could hear Jaehyo take a gulp before looking up to him, “ I don't know “. His face was absolutely flushed as he had both cheeks in his palms. This embarassed look he had on, made Minhyuk go crazy inside. Dazed for a moment from the sight before him, he couldn't help but think how cute Jaehyo looked and had to strongly hold himself back from doing anything rash.

“ Then... “

Minhyuk started motioning closer towards Jaehyo.

“ Shall we conduct an experiment? “
