Jaejoong POV:

Halmeonie stepped into the water, obviously angry,

"What sort of trick are you using?" she eyed Junsu who looked at her in pure confusion, "This pure feeling and those wings, what kind of visual trick are they?"

They can't be a trick, I felt it, and it was so real. Junsu was silent for a moment, then calmly answered,

"You can consider it as a trick if you want your Majesty, but I bet you already feel how real it is"

"How irrespectively! Do you think I am stupid?! Someone with such pure presence cannot do a revenge spell!"

"A revenge spell?!!" I repeated, unable to understand. Then without realizing it, I stepped back from Junsu, halmeonie did too. His aura changed from pure to dark and scary, then to pure again as he saw how we stepped back and consciously controlled himself again. His face looked sad looking at how frighted I got, sensing the big dark energy he has inside,

"Junsu..." I patted his arm, "it is okay. I know you are doing your best to control it. I know it is hard; nobody could ever do what you are doing now" I smiled to ease the sadeness that attacked him suddenly.

"I told you I am not stupid! Jaejoong, you should really be scared now!" halmeonie stated

"I am sorry; I'll try not to let it slip again" Junsu told me, ignoring halmeonie's comment. I smiled at him. Helmeonie was really angry now.

We got back to the castle, Halmeonie insisted that I should see the effect the revenge spell Junsu threw on my father when he strangled him, and Junsu wanted to go too. Father was put in bed. he was suffering greatly; I was shocked seeing how much he was in pain. Junsu's eyes became blue as he was observing him; halmeonie prepared her aura in a fight mode seeing the change, but I reassured her,

"Junsu's blue eyes are healing, no worries haleonie" that's all I could get out of my mouth at that moment.

Junsu's expression became sadder as his eyes returned to normal, and father screamed in pain. Junsu shut his eyes as if shutting his own suffering, but father screamed in pain again and kept palpitating. Hameonie's eyes became wide as she was observing what is happening. Meanwhile, I stayed unmoved, unable to understand,

"Oh my God! " she sighed. Junsu looked at her in a kind of apologetic smile, then at me,

"I am sorry. I can do nothing about it now. As much as I suffer, he will suffer too, maybe more than I do. The only way he can not suffer anymore is by me surpassing the pain he caused me, but I cannot ignore it. It is too big"

"What pain...?" I asked, still dazed, and as Junsu recalled my father's did to tell me, father screamed in pain again,

"He is the one who ordered his magicians to spell me as a baby and store the dark energy in my body. I did use the revenge spell without realizing it when I was fully controlled by dark energy. As much as I suffer because of what he did, as much as he will suffer, and maybe more until I can feel no regret at all about what happened"

I was shocked, so father is paying for his past mistakes?! Seeing how much he suffers now, I could estimate how much pain he caused to Junsu, and that I am unable to feel. Father opened his eyes shut by pain slowly; he stared at Junsu,

"Please...I know I've committed an unforgivable sin, but have mercy on me...You are the greatest healer in these two kingdoms, can't you ease my pain just a little? Can't you forgive me?"

It was the first time I see father pleading for pity. Junsu breathed heavily; I know that his kind heart wants to help, but the mess father caused to hid life is just too big to be disregarded,  "I am sorry, but I can't do anything about it. If I don't reach the point where I can forget about all the pain you caused me (father screamed at this point because Junsu remembered the suffering too), I am afraid you have to endure that for the rest of your life"

"Then just kill me and set me free! Take your revenge and kill me! I can't endure that any longer"

"I am sorry, but I cannot do that either, your Majesty. Nobody can kill you if your death time did not arrive yet. The spell will stop anyone trying to put you to death to ease your pain. You should endure it...I am sorry"

"Just cut if off! (Halmeonie screamed) Stop trying to be polite and apologitic! I know you are enjoying that very much, Prince! Enjoying the image of my son suffering as you did before! Just admit it already"

I ran to hug Junsu from the side as I felt his dark energy awakening again, "calm down...I know you are not" I whispered sincerely.

Junsu calmed down, controlling his powers again. he breathed out, "I am not. Suffering much, teaches you...to sympathize with everyone in a painful state, your Majesty...but, I cannot deny I see what is happening as fair and just. You can interpret that as you want..."

He silently walked away from me, "I guess I should go to the neighbor country. They should know that their king died and prepare for a power transition. Please excuse me"

I looked at my father. I feel really sad and hurt seeing him in such pain, but I can't deny that I see what is happening as fair too. Junsu suffered so much because of him,

"Father, hang on until we find a solution, meanwhile think about every single second you made Junsu suffer like this. It will make you feel better I guess because you wouldn't see yourself as a victim anymore" I stepped outside too, aware of the piercing look of halmeonie on my back.

Junsu was asking the guards about the king's body; he wanted to take it with him to the neighbor country,

"Are you going now?" I asked him

"Yes. It is his right to be buried there" he said softly 

"Do whatever the prince wants" I ordered the guards in front of us, and they obeyed

"Thank you Jae"

"I am amazed about how think Junsu-ya" I smiled at him, "Do you want me to go with you?"

Junsu shook his head, "Your kingdom needs you more than me now; its king is sick"

"I want to go with you, even if you don't need me anymore Junsu"

His eyes widen in a kind of blame, "How can you think that way?" he asked me in a broken voice, and just hearing it, I couldn't say a thing

"I need you...now more than anyone or anytime. You are the only safety rope I can hang on to  to not be eaten by this dark energy I am carrying inside Jaejoong"

"I am sorry" I hugged him, "I didn't mean to hurt you. I am sorry"

"Never think that way again..."

"Stay safe there Junsu, okay?"

"Don't worry"

I leaded Junsu to where his parents and servants were. He asked me to let them go already and I agreed. Outside the palace, Najine and Nihan insisted to go with Junsu to the neighbor kingdom, but he refused strictly,

"Jeoha...you can't go there alone" Najine whined

"I will be fine Najine-ya, and I want you to stay safe too, please" he smiled at her. She sighed, not appreciating the idea.

Junsu rubbed her shoulders, "I promise you I'll be fine. You'll be in danger if you go with me; I cannot let you get hurt, neither you nor Nihan"

I was amazed at how close Junsu is to his servants. I would easily mistake the relationship if I don't know how Junsu is.

"Okay..." Najine breathed out, "I'll pray for you"

"Thank you. Take good care of yourself... for me" Junsu leaned and kissed her , and she just let him do. I gasped, then my logic returned to me; he is protecting her with his shield. But, is he just too tender and loving in anything he does?! he smiled at her and turned to Nihan,

"Take good care of yourself too, Nihan-ya. The kingdom is under your protection until I get back"

"Of course Jeoha, please don't worry about anything" he smiled, and Junsu returned that smile with a sweeter one,

"I don't need to redo the shield on you Nihan; it is still working because it wasn't used, so you get rid of another kiss" Junsu said playfully, and Nihan busted laughing. I feel kind of awkward; just how many people did Junsu not kiss already? I also feel jealous...why can't I have people like that in my life?!

Junsu hugged his parents and let them go back to Tistane. As they disappeared in the horizon, Junsu turned to face me,

"I am sorry Jae...for your father"

I put my index finger on his lips, "never be sorry about something just that you let happen when you were unconscious"

He smiled, "I'll come here on my way back"

"Of course. I'll wait for you"

He nodded...It is time to fix everything here
