That dinner time as they ate Haemi was pouting and their father noticed it. "what's wrong Haemi?" he asked. "ahh-- nothing abuji." She answered before glancing at Yukwon who was glowering at her. She curled her lips at him showing anger.
When their mom and Yukwon were cleaning up. Their mom and Yukwon looked at each other. "what's wrong Haemi? Even papa notices it." Her mother sighed.
She looked at Yukwon unsurely before answering.
"Yukwon oppa took my phone." She grumbled like a little girl.
"why did you do that Kwonnie?" their mom chided.
"I exchanged phones with her." He explained.
"why?" their mom asked.
"I don't want her talking to Jiho anymore. He's no good." Yukwon answered coldly before walking out.
Haemi POV_
'tch. As if I can't contact him with your phone.' I thought as I moped inside my room that day. Yukwon oppa was such an .
I began browsing through his phone. Half of his messages were all from me. I went and looked at our conversation. My heart fluttered to see that our messages, ever since we exchanged numbers, were still there. He didn't delete any of them. I wish my conversation with Jiho was like this as well. When I thought of that, tears couldn't be held back from pouring.
I was insecure. So insecure…
NO ONE POV_
As Yukwon came up the stairs, after watching a movie alone downstairs, he heard her faint sobs. He stood outside her door feeling bad that she was still going to be sad and more depressed that he got her phone. He took a deep breath and held on the door knob. He couldn't stand her like that.
"Haemi." He whispered as he saw her bundled up on her bed. She faced the wall not wanting to see Yukwon. Yukwon walked towards her and sat on the bed. "I'm sorry that I have to get your phone." He breathed. Haemi turned around a little, "I'm not here to give it back to you though." He added making her face the wall again. "I just don’t want you getting stressed about that guy." He said. They were silent for a while. Yukwon didn't know what to say anymore. Haemi thought about it, "I'll get over it eventually." She mumbled sitting down to talk with Yukwon.
"when will that be?" Yukwon scoffed.
"someday." She whispered onto her pillow.
Yukwon gave out a sigh.
"Haemi, Jiho is just a boy. Don't let it get to you." He said as he ran his hand through her hair. He traced his hands path down to Haemi's shoulders over and over. "did it ever get to you when I turned you down?" he asked.
Haemi looked into his eyes thinking that if she answered him 'no' he'll be hurt.
"it’s a different situation." She looked away.
"did you know that it got to me?" he said looking into her eyes deeply. "truth be told," Haemi's heart raced, "I regretted turning you down after a while." He said. "what makes it worse is that you're now going out with jiho." Haemi was melting into his eyes as he leaned forward,
"what makes it much worse is,
You're now…
My sister." He whispered before their lips brushed onto each other. Haemi pushed him back. Haemi was searching in his eyes. "Yukwon oppa." She breathed before they leaned back again. Tears rolled down her cheeks as they continued on. They both didn't know what to feel.
