The members didn’t always just use me as a smoothie delivery service and as a translator. Often, when they needed something that they couldn’t go buy themselves, or wanted to make reservations at a restaurant or something, they had me do it under my name.
One of those examples was fast food. They weren’t able to do delivery, and none of them were allowed to go pick up food. So, I was the person called to buy five buckets of fried chicken and to deliver them to the dorm.
“Do I get a tip?” I asked Kris, not really annoyed.
“Only if the chicken’s still warm when you get here,” he retorted, hanging up on me.
When I got to the dorm, I was greeted right at the door by the EXO-M maknae, Tao. His eyes were fixed on the food in my hands, and I surrendered the buckets hastily. Tao was serious about his food.
“Noona, I need help!” Yixing called from the kitchen. He was sitting at the table, guitar in his lap, pen in his mouth.
“What?” I asked, sitting down with him.
“I composed a song last night, but the lyrics just aren’t coming,” he said in frustration, scratching out a few words on a notepad. “Help me, Jae.”
Me? Write lyrics? As if. I had no musical talent what so ever, never having been interested in the arts as a child.
