The next morning, I have decided that I’m going to talk with Se Hun eye-to-eye, I honestly dislike cold shoulder treatment the most, I rather he tells me what’s wrong and solve that problem right there, than ignoring me and treating me like , that’s why I’m always straightforward to people, too.

Lu Han told me that they all have to wake up at 4 AM, and now here I am, standing right in front of Se Hun and Su Ho’s room. I take a deep breath and knock on the door before entering, I know they’d be asleep and most probably won’t open it anyway, I might as well enter without their permission.

I know he’s not sleeping, because I see his head jerks when I call his name, I guess he is surprised by my sudden presence, “I know you’re awake.” I say again, “Can we talk?”

I hear him sighing faintly before rising up from his bed, “Sure.” He mumbles, I can tell he’s unhappy, but I think he knows it, too, that this problem shouldn’t be a barrier in between us.

I don’t know, I might be wrong, but at least I try to mend this ‘at the edge’ friendship with him.

We both sit on the couch, across from each other. “Se Hun, I’m truly sorry that I don’t realize your feelings to me sooner.” I start and his face instantly cringes, which shut my mouth right away. He sighs and leans back, crossing his arms across his chest, “No need to be sorry, even if you realized my feelings, I’m pretty sure you will still pick Lu Han over me.” He bitterly says, it breaks my heart, the way he speaks is so cold, it’s so different from the usual him.

“I know what you want to say and what you want to achieve from this talk, Ji Kyung.” He continues, “And sadly, I don’t think I can be back that fast, especially that I have to see you being together with him, I don’t think I can be normal around you anymore.”

“I will be back, someday.” He says while wearing that mask, a mask of fake smile. “I’m sorry.”

As the door of his room slammed close, a tear fall out of my eyes, I don’t know what is the cause of me crying, is it because I feel guilty?

Is it because the broken expression Se Hun had?

Is it because how cold he is to me?

Is it because I know that I have lost him?

I don’t know these mixed feelings.

But I know one thing for sure.

Se Hun and Ji Kyung didn’t have a decent conversation through the whole week, which was slowly killing both of them, Ji Kyung didn’t initiate anything anymore, she was afraid if she did anything wrong, it would affect even worse effect on their already bad relationship, so now she did the best she thought she could do. Wait.

Meanwhile, the relationship between Se Hun and Chanyeol did get worse also, Chanyeol scolded him once about how immature Se Hun’s way of facing problems, and of course, the still sensitive Se Hun didn’t want to accept any advices from anyone, they ended up almost getting into fistfight, but luckily, Kris and Chen prevented that from happening.

And now, all of them were hiding that fact behind Ji Kyung, because they knew, she would felt hell guilty about this whole ordeal, whereas actually, it wasn’t her fault at all. Feelings were something that couldn’t be forced after all, right?
