"Since when do you have a boyfriend? Why didn't you tell me?"
The air inside the house was so much warmer compared to when she opened the front door earlier, thanks to the fireplace and the electric heater. But it was no longer radiates a comfortable warm feeling for her, it was too warm for her liking because she was now dealing with a guy which is currently bombarding her with questions,
And a pretty much half guy who was now seeming unbothered as well after he showed a smile against Johnny's direction before his eyes went back into the television. His torso was covered by a blanket that was placed on the couch earlier.
"Sorry I wasâ I was planning to tell you actuallyâ" Aislee defend herself.
"Hey dude" Johnny moves his head towards where the other man sat, accidentally cut her unfinished words.
"You're not someone from around here, are you? Because I have never seen you at all" He asked with a smug expression as his fingers went to grip his shot gun all of sudden to show that he is the one in charge here.Â
Â
The other man raised his head into where Johnny and Aislee stood, nodding his head to answer his questions. "Wellâ yes I am. I heard you want some water? I can grab it for youâ"
"No!" Both Johnny and Aislee shouted together in sync when the man was about to get up, caused the blanket slipping away a bit from his torso.Â
Aislee's friend sighed, finally giving up and planning to take his leave instead. "Well thenâ just wanted to check on you. Glad you're okay and finally kicking the wolf outâ and replacing with this man" His hand gestured against the man on the couch in some disgust.
His eyes shifted into him for one last glance, "Dude take care of her. I don't want something bad happening to her and don't let her do something stupid please"
Â
Hearing the sentences coming out from his mouth, Aislee side-eyeing the man before he took her into a hug as he finally take his leave. Leaving her and the white-grey haired man alone. It was silent for the next several seconds. Only the sound of people laughing from the sitcom on
