I didn't realise that Kyuhyun was always waiting for me. When I hung out with friends, he'd always be wide awake. He sat and waited until I arrived home. Most of my friends are girls. I didn't realise Kyu was jealous. I didn't realise how it threatened to break us up...

When I had the time, I  spent it with my friends. Most of them were girls. I didn't usually spend it with Kyuhyun. I spent it with them. Until about 12:30 midnight. As I arrived I always saw Kyuhyun greet me with a smile and a kiss. Although, I never thought Kyuhyun was actually jealous. Every time this happened, it was pushed to a breaking point. The one time I broke it...

"Aigo~" I say as open the door and walk into my dorm. There I see Kyuhyun sitting on the couch. A sad smile plastered onto his face. I was slight tear stains on his cheeks. Eyes red, he looked up at me.

"Sungmin hyung, I'm glad. You're finally here." Kyuhyun said, facing me yet not looking in my eyes.

"Yeah. I'm back." I smile as Kyuhyun sighs sadly.

"I waited so long for you to get home." Kyuhyun breathed.

"Why? Shouldn't you be in bed?" I ask, not knowing anything.

"I wanted to wait for you to get home." Kyuhyun smiled sadly.

"Is something wrong? You seem depressed." I stated as Kyuhyun chuckled grimly.

"Do you know what today, or yesterday's date?" Kyuhyun asked me.

"Um... 3rd of February . Since today is technically a new day, it's the 4th of February." I said as Kyuhyun's sigh became increasingly heavier than before.

"3rd of February. Does that ring any bells?" Kyuhyun asked as I thought about it.

"Umm..." I hummed, trying to remember. Kyuhyun smile became sadder.

"3rd of February. My birthday." Kyuhyun replied as I suddenly remembered. I was supposed to get home early today... but then a friend asked me if I wanted to hang out and I said yes. Soon my eyes trailed to the table. A cake was there with the candles melted all the way onto the cake.

"Oh! Kyuhyun! I'm so sorry! I meant to be here earlier but a friend asked-" Kyuhyun cut me off.

"Don't worry. It doesn't matter..." Kyuhyun smiles grimly.

"Kyuhyun-ah..." I say, thinking of what to say next.

"Hey. Do you love me?" Kyuhyun asked me.

"Of course!" I exclaim.

"Then, why. Why do you leave me alone every night? I know you have friends, I know that... but you don't seem to think about me as much. I waited here for you to arrive for over 6 hours." Kyhyun remarked.

"I just wanted to spend time with friends and forgot." I said in a rather pleading voice.

"Forgot what? Did you forget about me?" Kyuhyun asked rhetorically.

"No! That's not what I meant!" I exclaimed.

"I really don't think I can take this any more." Kyuhyun sighed at me sadly.

"What do you mean?" I ask hesitantly.

"Should we... break up?" Kyuhyun asked me.

"Why do you want to break up?" I asked in a panicked state.

"I... you... I seem to be fading away from you. I seem to become less important than your friends." Kyuhyun replied.

"You are way more important then my friends." I retort. Kyuhyun laughs without humor.

"Then why do I seem to be waiting here every night for you to return? Then why did you forget me?" Kyuhyun

"I didn't forget. It slipped my mind." I say as Kyuhyun glares.

"I don't want you to forget that I'm here." Kyuhyuk whispered silently yet audiable. Slowly tears fell, highlighting the other tear stains.

"I would never forget you're here." I say as I hug Kyuhyun.

"..." Kyuhyun remained silent but the expression in his eye seemed better.

"I won't return home late from now on... I guarantee it..." I whisper
