"The suffocating cold beats the lonely heart."

It must have been a joke. A stupid one, Byulyi thought to herself as she tried to figure out the meaning of the raven-haired girl's expression, which was hard to read since her smile looked so ambiguous.

"So are you..."

Byulyi hesitated, unsure which one of her thoughts would sound the least rediculous if she'd express it in a question. Never did someone make her feel so unsettled yet curious. Smiling all innocent, the other woman tilted her head in confusion while waiting for Byulyi to continue. 

"I mean, are you a fan of Kim Yongsun or something like that?" 

What followed after was the most unexpected reaction Byulyi could imagine. At first the woman just looked at her in a mix of shock and disbelief but only in a split second she had to held her stomach from the sudden outburst of laughter. 

The situation was really uncomfortable for Byulyi and she couldn't hide her embarrassment since it was written all over her reddened face. She barley knew this awkward person who was laughing at her shamelessly and gradually, Byulyi asked herself why the heck she followed her into the room. 

'Witches magic' she murmured to herself in the moment she decided to just get out, far away from the raven-haired woman. 

"What's wrong?" 

She asked but Byulyi stood up wordlessly and ignored her. Still unable to stop laughing, the woman stood up as well and blocked the doorway, as if she knew that her company was trying to flee. Now it was Byulyi who looked at her with irritation as she tried to pass through her.

"What's wrong?" 

The raven-haired woman asked again, this time more serious and with a daring smirk on her lips. Instead of getting panicky, Byulyi's eyes widened at the change of the other woman's gaze. Their faces were dangerously close and Byulyi would be lying if she said that she didn't glimpsed at those provoking lips.

"You want to leave even though you didn't introduce yourself? How rude!" 

The raven-haired woman spoke as she closed the distance of their bodies by pressing her chest against Byulyi's. Totally taken by surprise, she couldn't avoid the sudden intimacy and every single muscle inside her stiffened automatically. 

Her head rushed at the moment she felt the stranger's fingers brushing at her right temple, gently pushing some strand of hairs aside.
