“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”

One could assume that from now on, things between Yongsun und Byulyi would run more smoothly than before. 

And indeed, when the second week of college started and Byulyi found Yongsun already sitting at their desk, she caught herself smiling discreetly the moment their eyes met.

"Hi!" The raven-haired woman greeted her with the usual bright grin she always offered to the people around her. Nodding affirming, Byulyi sat down next to Yongsun and prepared herself for the following hours.

Today's topic was the evaluation of Aristotele, one of Byulyi's favorite greek philosopher, so for once she was eager to listen to this old and scary man's lecture. Yongsun noticed that Byulyi didn't stop writing down notes and soon she was paying more attention to her project partner than the lesson.

Professor Kwon's lectures are well-known for not only being extremely monotonous and interminable, but also perfectly filled with so much unnecessary informations that it would be impossible to meet his high requirements. He was full of himself and nothing would push him off his throne that easily. 

"What is a friend?" the professor asked with so much arrogance in the tone of his voice, it was obvious that he wasn't really expecting anyone to answer his question. He turned his back to the students and wanted to write something down on the white board when a loud and steady voice interrupted him. 

"A single soul dwelling in two bodies."

It was the only right answer and it came from no one else but Yongsun, whose calm but also quite confident appearance caught the old man's and the other students attention, especially Byulyi's. The blonde looked up at her as if she was sitting next to a ghost and their professor had a similar puzzled expression placed on his wrinkled face. 

Just like last time, the whole auditorium sink into paralyzed silence, waiting for the professor's reaction. They all knew well enough how much he hated unwanted interruptions, so every student just held their breath in fear. 

"T-That's right." Stuttering shortly, he continued with his speech about Aristoteles, seemingly unbothered about Yongsun's rudeness. She sat down again with a fairly bored expression, almost as if she was disappointed about not getting a verbal reprimand from the professor. 

Still not believing what just happened, Byulyi tried her best not to observe Yongsun too much, her motivation to focus on the lecture was long forgotten though. It was a mystery to her why he didn't scolded Yongsun but instead became unusually silent. 

Byulyi risked to take another brief glimpse of Yongsun's profile. 

Impossible

After he finished today's class with the reminder of their partner projects, Yongsun shortly grabbed at Byulyi's arm just before she was able to stand up and leave.

"Could you wait for me outside?"

Confused but not rejecting her request, Byulyi simply nodded and went ahead of her. It didn't took that long until she saw Yo
