Kevin POV

After clearing things up with ________, I headed back to the practice studio as fast as I could. When I got there, Eli was laying on the couch with a bag of ice on his crotch. His face was red and beads of sweat were clearly visible. I hoped I didn’t cause too much damage. I cautiously walked up to the couch and knelt down at his head. He turned and looked at me with an unreadable expression. The other members huddled around us.

“Hyung, you do not know how sorry I am about this.”

“So you talked to ________. I told you I never touched her! How could you believe I would ever hurt you like that?!”

I hung my head in shame.

I’m sorry. I knew I jumped to conclusions and I was upset that she asked you to take her to the hospital instead of me.”

“Kevin-ah, she only did that because she cares about you. And she didn’t tell you about the pregnancy because she knew you’d want to stay home and take care of her instead of being with us.”

“She wants you to continue your dream. She wants you to be in U-Kiss. Most girls would want themselves to be your main focus and spend time with them”, Soohyun said.

“You’ve got a keeper there”, Hoon added.

“She doesn’t want you to have to choose between us and her. We’re all your family and you need to know you don’t ever have to choose. You can “have your cake and eat it too” as they say”, the always wise AJ explained.

“I know, but what am I going to do?! I mean, if she’s pregnant, then I’ll have to focus making sure she’s taken care of AND focus on U-Kiss. How will I manage both?!”

“That’s what family is for. Kevin-ah, you’re not alone. You’ve never been alone, you have us and you’ve got your parents and your sister”, Soohyun said, comforting me.

“We’ll always be here for both you and ________. She’s part of our family too”, Eli said.

“Wait, this means we’re going to be uncles”, Dongho said excitedly.

All the members looked at him with annoyed glances.

“Yah, you’re the cause of this you know!! You jumped way too far to conclusions. Think before you want to say something, then don't say it next time araso”, Soohyun scolded.

“Mianhae hyungs.”

You POV

You really hoped that Kevin was able to make amends with Eli. You couldn’t even believe Dongho would come up with a crazy story like that, that pabo. You had some time to yourself so you sat down and thought about your life up until now.

Ever since you met Kevin, you knew you and him had a special connection. He was this wonderfully sweet guy who could make your heart flutter and put butterflies in your stomach. He made everything seem okay. Being with him, gave you a whole new family. Sure you had your own family back home in the states, but now you had U-Kiss and Kevin’s own family. You felt more than loved and you were content with your life.

They say that there’ll always be bumps in the road of life, and you’ve experienced enough of them; Cole’s proposal, the accident, Kevin leaving, the crazy fangirl, moving to Korea, the attack, the miscarriage, and others, but that’s what makes it life. You can’t expect to have a smooth road. If you do, then what have you learned? You don’t learn anything if you don’t make mistakes in life. It’s all a part of the process of maturing and growing as a person.

Several months down the road

At this point, you were 5 and ½ months pregnant. For someone only this far along, your belly was huge. You were just on your way to an ultrasound appointment with Kevin where they were finally going to tell you guys what the baby’s gender was. Because you had such a small apartment, with Kevin being back in U-Kiss, you guys were able to afford a 4 bedroom condo in Seoul, closer to Kevin’s family.

At the doctor’s office

“So are you ready to see if you’re having a boy or a girl”, the ultrasound technician asked.

“We’re ready”, you and Kevin said together.

She prepared the machine and through the monitor, you could see movement and you could hear a heartbeat. The nurse moved around to check for the s of the baby to determine the of it. Then the nurse stopped moving on your belly.

“See that there”, she said pointing to the monitor. “Looks like you guys have yourself a baby boy.”

You looked at Kevin who was beaming with happiness.

“Oh wait, hold on”, the nurse said suddenly.

You turned your attention back to the screen.

“Is something wrong?”

“There seems to be two heartbeats. And two babies.”

Two babies?! You were shocked. Your eyes widened.

“Looks like you have twins; a baby boy and a little girl. Congrats you two.”

The nurse left smiling and you two were left with nothing to say.

“Twins? I--I don’t even know what to say. I’m just--twins?!”

Kevin couldn’t even speak. You weren’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

You knew from watching TV shows about birth that twins equals complications and usually a C-section since it’s really rare for twins to be born naturally. You prayed to God for the safe delivery of your now, two babies.

After you left and Kevin was driving you home, you whipped out your cell phone and started dialing numbers. First you called Kevin’s parents and sister. They were so happy for you guys. Then you called your own parents who actually started crying, even your dad. Finally, you called U-Kiss. There was a mixture of happiness, excitement, and happy tears. You even started crying. You could hear Kiseop talking really really fast in Korean and from what AJ and Eli could translate, he was going on about planning a baby shower.

“That sounds like a great idea guys!! I would be honored if U-Kiss threw me a baby shower!!”

“Then it’s settled then. We’ll invite everyone”, Kiseop yelled in delight.

“Uh, who’s everyone”, Kevin asked concerned.

“Well, your parents, ________’s parents if they can make it, U-Kiss of course, and some other Kpop groups. I’m sure ________ will be thrilled to meet some of our sunbaes and hoobaes.”

“Oh my goodness yes!! I want SHINee and 2NE1 and SNSD and Big Bang and everyone to come!!! I’m so excited!!”

“Yeobo, calm down. We can’t invite all those groups”, Kevin said laughing.

“Heh, mianhae, I got overexcited.”

“We’ll make some phone calls and see who can come, araso”, Eli said still on the other end.

“Okay and oppa, don’t forget to invite Xander and Kibum oppa okay?”

Chuckling he said, “I won’t.”
