Kevin took you home from the hospital. Kevin Woo, your boyfriend. First though, you needed to make a quick pit stop. Kevin drove you in front of a small house, similar to yours. Kevin carefully helped you out, because you were just in the hospital after getting hit by a car. You boldly, but slowly walked to the front door and knocked. A few minutes later, Cole your ex, answered the door in a bath robe. A girl, dressed in lingerie came up behind him.

"Cole come back to bed", she said in a whiny girl like voice.

"Not now. Go up."

You just looked at him with disgust.

The little whiny childlike girl skipped off back upstairs and Cole turned back to you.

"Look ______, I can explain."

"Save it, okay. I knew you never changed. Here's your ring back."

You shove Cole's ring in his palm and turned to walk back towards the car, but Cole grabbed your wrist tightly.

"Cole let go of me", you screamed.

Kevin quickly rushed up to your side, shooting death glares at Cole.

"I think you should let her go", Kevin demanded.

"Oh and what are you going to do about it, pretty boy?"

"I don't want to fight. Just let her go, NOW."

"Well too bad, because if you weren't looking for a fight, you sure as hell found one."

Cole let go of your wrist and pushed you aside as he lunged at Kevin. You couldn't watch. You knew how Cole got when he was angry and Kevin was just too delicate to take him on. You dared to peek through your fingers. You saw Cole throw a punch towards Kevin, but Kevin dodged it and threw a punch right back, hitting Cole in the arm. Cole, angered by the possibility of losing to a guy half his size, threw another punch, hitting poor Kevin in the chest, knocking the breath right out of him, but it didn't stop him because he landed one sharp kick, right to Cole's crotch, dropping him like bricks.

You ran over to Kevin, inspecting him to make sure he wasn't badly hurt. He had a few forming bruises on his face and hands and surely one on his chest, but he was fine otherwise.

"Cheap shot", Cole winced in pain. This time he spoke to you. "You better get used to nights in bed alone because this guy obviously isn't going to satisfy your needs if he can kick a guy in the groin and keep a straight face."

Angered, you screamed at him, "You think I care about that? Because I don't. Kevin will be, no, is twice the man you'll ever be."

You turned and headed back to the car, followed by Kevin, leaving Cole in a fetal position on the ground.

Kevin helped you into the car and got into the driver's side. After shutting the door he said, "That felt good."

You turned to him, eyeing his bruises that were turning purple, "Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine. It felt good to show him that he can't mess with you."

"Can we just go home? I'm tired and I need to take my pain medication."

Ending his victory, Kevin looked at you with a worried glance, before starting up the car and driving to your home that would also be his for the next few days.
