It was Valentine's Day.

Everyone was giving flowers, chocolates and even teddy bears.

Everyone was either confessing to their crush or going out on a date.

"Wang Junkai!"

Junkai woke up from his slumber as his mom continued slapping his arm.

"What is it, ma?"

"You're late for your first class again!"

"Mr. Huang would thank me later for it, trust me."

"What were you even doing last night? You were making too much noise!" Junkai's mom groaned.

Junkai only smiled.

Meanwhile, Qianxi was at school and frowned when he heard from Mr. Huang that Junkai didn't enter his class.

Qianxi was excused because he was helping with the Valentine program.

"Yuhao, have you seen Junkai today?"

"I haven't. Why?"

"I haven't seen him either. He may enter the first class late but he never skips class." Qianxi's frown deepen in confusion.

"Why don't you ask his mother? You're worrying yet you're not making any move." Zhihong rolled his eyes.

Qianxi nodded as he took out of his phone and texted Junkai.

Qian: Where are you?

Kai: At the bus stop. Miss me?

Qian: Shut up. I'm just confused that you skipped class.

Kai: I slept for too long, sorry Qianxi.

Qian: It's okay. Are you sick?

Kai: Nope. Just didn't get enough sleep.

Qian: You were the one making so much noise last night?

Kai: Maybe...

Qian: Don't be like that! What were you up to?

Junkai smirked as he didn't reply and got on the bus, leaving Qianxi, who's at school, groaning in curiousity.

The class was cut short because of the program and Junkai was still nowhere to be found.

"Seems like I'm not the only one dateless today." Zhihong laughed as he put an arm around Qianxi.

"He isn't answering my texts anymore. Where is he?" Qianxi bit his lip.

Yinke entered the gym without Wutong which made both Zhihong and Qianxi raise an eyebrow.

"Why are you two looking at me like that?" Yinke laughed.

"Where's Wutong?"

"He's with Junkai."

"Really? Where are they?"

"I don't know. Wutong didn't tell me."

"So we're all single for today, huh?" Zhihong grinned as he placed his other arm around Yinke as well.

"Seems like you're happy with that." Qianxi chuckled.

"Of course! Who would believe that my best friends are without their boyfriends on Valentine's Day? Even I can't believe it!"

Yinke only shrugged.

It was already 7pm when the program ended. 

Qianxi was just walking along the sidewalk alone.

Until someone covered his eyes.

"Help! Help!" Qianxi tried wriggling out of the man's hold but then another person went and carried his legs as he was carried inside a vehicle that he couldn't decipher what.

Qianxi was shaking. He didn't want to die just yet. He hasn't even seen Junkai for the last time.

"Please let me go. I'm not as wealthy as I look." Qianxi muttered.

But nobody responded.

Then after a while, Qianxi was dragged off the vehicle and he ended up kneeling on the grass while crying.

Was this his last moment or was he going to suffer to these unknown people who kidnapped him?

"What the heck? I didn't tell you to scare him!"

Qianxi cried harder as he heard Junkai's voice. Was he hallucinating?

Suddenly, someone held his hand. It was so... familiar.

"Hey, are you okay? I'm sorry, Qian. I didn't know they would do it this way."

"K-Kai?"

Junkai removed the blindfold from Qianxi's eyes.

Qianxi immediately hugged Junkai even though he was still sobbing.

"I'm sorry."

"I-I was so scared. I thought I wasn't going to see you again." Qianxi buried his face on Junkai's shoulder.

"I would never let that happen."

Once that Qianxi was okay, Wutong and Yuwen apologized.

"Sorry, Qianxi. We didn't mean to scare you that much." Yuwen scratched his nape.

"It's okay." Qianxi smiled.

"Thanks anyway for the help." 

"Welcome, Junkai." Wutong grinned.

Soon, Qianxi and Junkai were having dinner on the gazebo.

"So this is what you were up to last night?" Qianxi raised an eyebrow.

"Well, not exactly." Junkai shrugged.

"We never celebrated this before, you know."

"Because we weren't a couple before, Yi Yang Qianxi."

"Still... I guess it all still feels so new."

"It is."

"So what were you doing all night then?"

"Can we talk about that later?" Junkai whined.

"Well, that was the reason I was dateless for the whole day so I need an explanation, Wangwang." Qianxi crossed his arms.

"Wait here then." Junkai stood up and went inside his house.

Soon, Qianxi almost choked on his water when he saw Junkai carrying one big box.

"What the hell is that, Wang Junkai?"

Junkai only chuckled as he placed it in front of Qianxi.

"How about you open it?"

Qianxi slightly smiled as he untied the ribbon and open the box.

Soon, balloons went flying from the box and into the sky which left Qianxi in awe.

But as Qianxi looked at the box, he was more in awe now.

There lies a balloon that can't fly because of a rock. And written on the balloon was "pop me."

Qianxi grabbed a fork and popped the balloon and a ring fell from the inside.

"Junkai..."

"I didn't know what to give you, honestly." Junkai grinned shyly as he scratched his nape.

Qianxi carefully picked the ring and placed it on his ring finger.

"It's cute." Qianxi grinned.

The design on the ring was just a carving of Junkai's name.

"I'm glad you liked it."

"Don't you have one for yourself too?"

"I hid it for the mean time." Junkai laughed as he took another ring from his pocket and this time had Y.Y.Q.X. carved in it.

"Thank you, Kai. I loved it a lot." Qianxi stood up to hug Junkai.

Junkai blushed as he hugged Qianxi back even tighter.

"I also have a gift but it doesn't feel as special as what you gave me though." Qianxi bit his lip.

"What are you saying? Anything you give me is special. Let me have it." Junkai pulled out of the hug as he extended his hands.

Qianxi chuckled as he took a photo album from his bag.

"Here."

Junkai laughed as he saw that the photo album was named "To the Wangwang and Kai of my life, Wang Junkai."

Once he opened it, Junkai already felt his tears falling.

It was a photo album with pictures of both of them. And even have messages from Qianxi about what he felt during those days.

"Qian, this is so beautiful."

"Really? Well, thanks."

Junkai carefully placed the album on the table and neared Qianxi.

"Thank you for accepting me, really." Junkai cupped Qianxi's cheeks.

Qianxi only smiled in return.

Junkai neared and neared and soon, Qianxi closed his eyes.

Their lips met in an innocent kiss.
