** JENNIE’S POV **

 

 

Summer is over and class starts now.

 

 

I was walking in the hallway as i go to my class but i was 15 minutes early.

 

 

And when i enter the class, I just put my bag on the table as i fix my books under the table.

 

 

 

Looking at the windows and saw a blonde pass by.

 

 

 

“ Is that Lisa? “ i whisper

 

 

 

So i quickly run towards the door and look if she’s the one who passed by.

 

 

 

“ Yah Lalisa! “ i shouted

 

 

 

Then i saw the blonde turn around and gave me a frown.

 

 

 

“ Where are you going? “ i asked

 

 

 

 “ We don’t have class, the teacher was sick, Well maybe i’ll just walk around the campus? “ she answered

 

 

 

Then i felt my phone vibrate and received a text message from Hanbin.

 

 

 

Oh.

 

 

Our professor will not be attending our class too.

 

 

“ Why? “ Lisa asked

 

 

 

Then i’m planning to go home now since i didn’t eat proper breakfast and texted mom to prepare food because i’ll be coming home in 5 mins.

 

 

 

“ Did you ate? “ i asked

 

 

 

“ Nope, i don’t eat breakfast tho “ 

 

 

 

“ Why? “

 

 

 

“ I don’t have time to cook “ 

 

 

 

Then i quickly get my bag and invited her to our house cause i’ve been curious on something.

 

 

 

“ Let’s go “ i said

 

 

 

“ Wait. “

 

 

 

I frowned.

 

 

 

“ How bout Jisoo and others? “ I asked

 

 

 

I shook my head told her they’re not here.

 

 

 

“ Oh “ 

 

 

 

But then she stayed in her place standing and not moving an inch.

 

 

 

I grab her arm and pull her to walk.

 

 

 

“ Come on, i’m hungry already “ 

 

 

 

So i texted my mom to pick us up since she’s just meters away from us because she’s doing the grocery.

 

 

 

We waited and told Lisa that i was curious if my parents can rewrite some of their future before leaving me again.

 

 

 

“ As long as you’re connected to me, some will change “ Lisa said

 

 

 

“ You know why i invited you? “ i asked

 

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

“ We’re not that close tho “ 

 

 

 

“ It’s not about the closure you know, I just want to thank you since i can be with my parents for now though i know they will leave me too “ I said

 

 

 

Lisa smiled.

 

 

 

“ I’m relieved “ 

 

 

 

Then i look at her and i can see how pure her smile is.

 

 

 

“ I thought you’re going to blame me again from another heartbreak if ever your parents leave you soon “ 

 

 

 

Then i tapped her shoulders and give her a signal that it’s okay.

 

 

 

“ I should be thankful because of you, Because i was given more time to spend with them unlike before. I was so busy with school and stuff, I can’t even spend time with them that’s why i regret not coming home before. “ I explained

 

 

 

Lisa then look at me and smiled.

 

 

 

“ Maybe that’s another reason why, to give them your time for the second time. “ 

 

 

 

I nodded and smiled too.

 

 

 

“ Thank you “

 

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

“ I should be the one who is thanking you “ 

 

 

 

Then we both heard a horn from a car and saw an ahjumma in the window.

 

 

 

“ Let’s go? “

 

 

 

I pulled her arm so that she can’t escape already.

 

 

 

If i only knew before that i am comfortable hanging out with her, I hope i start approaching her before.

 

 

 

Then we both sit in the back seat as Jennie introduced me to her mom.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“ I know her already “ her mom said calmly as she smiled at me

 

 

 

Then Lisa frowned and look at my mom.

 

 

 

“ Excuse me, but did we meet already maam? “ Lisa asked

 

 

 

My mom just smiled and told me i was lucky to meet her.

 

 

 

“ Let’s talk later when we arrived “ my mom said

 

 

 

Why do i feel like my mom knows something in here while Lisa was confused on what is happening.

 

 

 

When we arrived, Lisa and I helped my mom carried the groceries as i keep bragging mom to make us something delicious.

 

 

 

“ Okay okay. Chill there tiger “ My mom said

 

 

 

And when we put the groceries on the kitchen, My mom started preparing as she asked Lisa lots of questions.

 

 

 

“ Whoah there, What is happening? “ i asked

 

 

 

I look at Lisa and shrugged her shoulders as she innocently sit beside me and sipping her banana milk that my mom gave me.

 

 

 

“ Wow! You gave her a banana milk while me you gave me water? “ 

 

 

 

Then my mom laughed.

 

 

 

“ I’m just thankful to her “ My mom said

 

 

 

And both of us look at each other.

 

 

 

“ Mom can you just spill the tea? “ i asked

 

 

 

“ Lisa~yah. Don’t you remember me? “ My mom asked her

 

 

 

Lisa shook her head.

 

 

 

“ Mom just spill “

 

 

 

My mom smiled as she look at Lisa.

 

 

 

“ I saw Lisa in some room where she is sittig near the door and when i asked her why is she not entering and told me she can’t. I even saw her stunning wings on her back by that gime and told me she was stuck “ 

 

 

 

But seems like Lisa can’t remember.

 

 

 

“ There’s a lot of people asked me that in all over 5 years so i can’t remember maam, I’m sorry “ Lisa apologised and sip.

 

 

 

“ I even dreamed of her too with the same scenario “ I said

 

 

 

“ You should thank her soon “ My mom said

 

 

 

“ That’s why i brought her here since she told me she don’t eat breakfast because she doesn’t have time “ I said

 

 

 

“ Then you should eat breakfast here everyday, I’ll cook for you “ My mom said in a chirpy voice and smiled brightly.

 

 

 

“ Really mom? That far? I thought i’m your daughter? “ I asked

 

 

 

Then mom pinched my cheeks.

 

 

 

“ I’ll take care of Lisa too since i have favor to ask her soon “ My mom said

 

 

 

I saw Lisa furrowed her eyes as she was really confused now.

 

 

 

“ Perhaps, do you know what will happen in the future? “ She asked

 

 

 

Then my mom smiled.

 

 

 

“ I know “ 

 

 

 

“ But it still depends on Jennie right? “ Lisa asked

 

 

 

Then my mom shook her head 

 

 

 

“ Believe me, though i will leave late than you. I already know what will happen yet i am restrticted to tell to anyone “ 

 

 

 

Lisa was now really confused since she’s not that capable of seeing what will happen but she only know that everything will change.

 

 

 

“ But you will leave 2 more years before i leave, how’d that happen? “ 

 

 

 

Then my mom serve us a kimchi rice with egg and some bacon.

 

 

 

“ Don’t stress yourself from thinking what will happen “ My mom said

 

 

 

“ Okay only both of you can understand each other, should i go now? “ i asked in sarcasm

 

 

 

Then my mom laughed.

 

 

 

“ I should be restricting both of you from meeting each other but i think it will be for your good to hang out with Lisa “

What do you mean?

 

 

 

She’ll leave after a year.

 

 

 

I’m just going to help her right?

 

 

 

“ I’ll ask you one more thing, Lisa “ 

 

 

 

Then she nodded.

 

 

 

“ What are you lacking when you died? Did you see the keys? “ My mom asked

 

 

 

She nodded.

 

 

 

“ Jennie saw those too, she was tryig to help me in her dream but we can’t find the right key to open the door “ 

 

 

 

Then mom asked me if what are te words i saw in the keys.

 

 

 

 

“ Love, Health, Wealth, Fame, Fortune... “ i said

 

 

 

 

“ See? You already find the right key for it and you need to do is to find out if how will you guys work on it “ Mom said

 

 

 

Now we’re all confused.

 

 

 

“ This is really weird “ I said

 

 

 

“ I find it weird too. This is harder than living a life here in earth “ Lisa said as she sighed.

 

 

 

“ You can come here anytime, Lisa. I’ll cook for you if you want to since i know you’re a foreigner and you’re not living with your family. This is the only thing i can do to thank you “ My mom said

 

 

 

Once again i can’t puzzle everything out because mom is confusing us so much.

 

 

 

“ Do you guys have classes? “

 

 

 

“ I think the professors can’t attend because of some errands needed in the school “ Lisa said as she chew

 

 

 

We heard a bark from the stairs and saw Kuma tilting her head as she stare at Lisa.

 

 

 

Then she quickly run towards her and start wiggling her tail from side to side.

 

 

 

Kuma was waiting for Lisa to pet her but she can’t get her attention so she keep barking and barking til Lisa noticed her.

 

 

“ Hi “ Lisa smiles

 

 

When Lisa carried her she quickly get hyped and start her cheeks.

 

 

“ Calm down champ “ Lisa giggled

 

 

 

And now i feel disrespectful.

 

 

 

“ Kuma never my face like that, i feel threatened now “ I said

 

 

 

Then my mom and Lisa laughed.

 

 

 

“ You should visit often, Lisa “ My mom said

 

 

 

“ I will, Mrs. Kim “ Lisa smiled.

 

 

 

We actually spend the whole 4 hours of Lisa staying in our place plus dad arrived in house and welcomed her warmly.

 

 

 

My parents really like how Lisa behaved and all my dogs like her too as they play with her and cuddle.

 

 

They even want Lisa to stay here overnight because they really like how Lisa talk about her life in thailand which is she’s also the only child.

 

 

 

My parents keep on telling her to visit more often and when it’s already late.

 

 

 

“ Jennie, accompany her “ My dad said and i just nodded.

 

 

 

My mom kissed Lisa’s cheek and squish her cause mom keeps telling her how cute she is.

 

 

 

“ Take care okay? 

 

 

 

Lisa nodded as she bowed and wave her hand to them.

 

 

 

“ I’ll just go walk, you can just stay here “ Lisa said

 

 

I shook my head.

 

 

 

“ No it’s okay, i’ll walk with you in the bus station “ 

 

 

 

“ It’s okay, you can just go and get some rest“ Lisa said

 

 

 

Why the hell didn’t they let this girl enter that ing door cause she really is humble as .

 

 

 

I don’t want to argue cause probably my parents will kill me if i didn’t walk Lisa in the bus station.

 

 

So i just cling in her arm and pull her.

 

 

 

“ Let’s go “ I said

 

 

 

Then we both walk in the streets and looking around since it’s been a while too since i walk in this street.

 

 

 

In the future, i have my own house already and i did sell the house because i don’t have anything when my mom and dad died.

 

 

 

“ Isn’t it feel good? “ Lisa asked

 

 

 

“ What? “ i asked

 

 

 

“ Spending time with your parents “ 

 

 

 

We slowly decrease our speed as we calmly walk and talk.

 

 

 

I nodded.

 

 

 

“ Yeah. I was so grateful i am back in this time and catch up with them “ 

 

 

 

She smiled.

 

 

 

“ That’s a relief then. Still i can’t spend time with my parents because they’re far away from me “ 

 

 

 

Then i realised no matter how we will bring back her time, her parents will still be in Thailand while she’s in here studying.

 

 

 

“ I think i can’t help you with that but like what my parents says, you can visit anytime and they will be glad to spend time with you too “ 

 

 

 

The positivity in her didn’t disappear and just smiled all through out the walk.

 

 

 

“ When you live in the future if ever, what do you think you’re doing? “ i asked

 

 

She shrugged.

 

 

 

“ I don’t know but i did saw some before what would be my future “ 

 

 

 

“ Tell me “

 

 

 

She smiled.

 

 

 

“ I just saw a house and i am preparing something like dressing a formal clothe where i need to prepare for a meeting and after that i saw myself to a girl. “

 

 

 

A girl?

 

 

“ But i didn’t see her face though and also i saw her kissing my cheeks as i go home. That’s all i see “ 

 

 

 

So she’s successful too if ever?

 

 

 

“ But that’s just a scenario if i live but i won’t in reality “ She said

 

 

 

She only have a year.

 

 

 

And as we grow closer probably i’ll miss this giant.

 

 

 

When we both arrived in the bus station, i can already feel the coldness outside and i forgot to wear something thick.

 

 

 

But then i saw her put her coat in me without any of my knowing.

 

 

 

“ You forgot to get your coat “ Lisa said 

 

 

 

I was about to remove it and give it to her but then she stand in front of me and button it.

 

 

 

“ You’re freezing “ 

 

 

 

Then she hold my hand and rub it to produce heat.

 

 

I can see how serious she is on it and i don’t even know why on earth she really didn’t enter the door of peace.
