“ Where are we going, Jennie? “ i asked

 

 

 

Jennie was packing everything in my bag as she hurriedly get all of my belongings in my cabinet.

 

 

 

“ Somewhere? “ 

 

 

 

I was sitting in my bed as she pack all of it and saw another luggage where i assumed that it’s hers.

 

 

 

“ I should ask my parents first about it “ 

 

 

 

“ I already told them about this “ 

 

 

 

 

I frowned.

 

 

 

“ And what did they say? “ 

 

 

 

 

 

“ It’s okay since we’ll be visiting them anyways “

“ How about school? “ I asked

 

 

 

“ Mom take care of it already “ she answered

I walk towards her and kneeled down to talk to her as i sighed

 

 

 

 

“ Jennie, what’s going on “

 

 

 

 

She stopped and sighed also as she looked me in the eyes.

 

 

 

Both of us were staring at each other then she cupped my cheeks and sighed.

 

 

 

“ Will you trust me this time? Just to unwind everything and at least enjoy? “ 

 

 

 

I sighed.

 

 

 

I don’t even know what she is planning to.

 

 

 

But i’m still puzzled on what is she up to.

 

 

 

She then get something in the ground and show me two plane tickets.

 

 

 

 

“ What is this? “ i asked

 

 

 

“ We’re going to visit your parents “ 

 

 

 

 

“ For what reason? “ 

 

 

 

 

“ I need to talk to them “ she said

 

 

 

But why?

 

 

 

“ You can just call them right now, Jennie “

 

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

 

“ No, i need to talk to them personally “ 

 

 

 

 

She’s not spilling anything.

 

 

 

Jennie continued packing my things and told me to hurry up since our flight will be 2 hours later.

 

 

 

Suddenly she stopped.

 

 

 

And went blank.

 

 

 

I frowned and saw her turns into like that like she’s thinking something very deep.

I don’t know what to say but i’m really confused on what is going on.

Then she stand up and look at me.

I can see how a teardrop shows in her eyes as she stare at me with an emotional feeling.

Jennie started crying in front of me already and saw how she really is hurt as she let her emotion flows.

 

 

 

 

She let it out and just showed me how she really feels but then i don’t know why is she like that.

 

 

 

 

I walk towards her and catch her with my arms, Looking at this fragile girl makes my heart hurt.

 

 

 

 

 

“ Hush. I’m here “ i whispered

Hours of flight, Jennie was all drained and tired of all as she clings on me and just tried not to fell asleep as we wait for my mom and dad to pick us up.

 

 

 

“ Lisa, i’m sleepy “ Jennie whispered

 

 

 

I look at her and she was all a cutie mushy potato that i want to pinch.

 

 

 

“ Be patience princess, they’re almost here “ i said as i kissed her forehead.

 

 

 

 

She cried too much earlier like a little kid.

I don’t know what is she up to.

Then i heard someone waving at us and saw my mom and dad flashing a bright smile on their faces.

 

 

 

Jennie also heard it and quickly look to them as she smiled.

 

 

 

 

“ Mama! Papa! “

 

 

 

 

Then Jennie and I quickly rush towards them as i quickly gave them a big hug.

 

 

 

 

 

“ We missed you, Lisa “ my mom said as she hug me tight and kissed my cheeks.

 

 

 

Then my dad greeted Jennie and complimented her how beautiful she is.

 

 

 

“ This is Jennie “ i said as i smiled

 

 

 

 

“ I know, you’ve been talking about her everytime you call. “

 

 

 

I jaw drop for mom telling that in front of Jennie’s face.

 

 

 

 

“ Thank you for taking care of Lisa, i hope she didn’t give you too much headache “ My mom said as she hold Jennie’s hand and smiled

 

 

 

 

Then my dad walk towards me and stand beside me as he whispered something.

 

 

 

 

“ You’re a pretty lucky gal, pal “ 

 

 

 

 

Then he kinda bump me and laughed.

 

 

 

 

“ Dad stop “ i said

 

 

 

 

I just love to see two beautiful girls of my life interacting each other and find theirselves in comfort talking.

 

 

 

 

My mom and Jennie is inseparable already as they both talk at the back seat while me in the passenger seat and my dad driving.

 

 

 

 

“ Since when did you get a girlfriend huh? “ my dad smirked

 

 

 

I frowned.

 

 

 

“ Dad “

 

 

 

 

“ What? “ she laughed

 

 

 

 

“ I’m just asking “ 

 

 

 

I giggled and just look at the window as i inhale deeply.

 

 

 

 

All of us gathered in a dinner where mom and dad do the cooking and we stayed on our room for a while to unwind.

 

 

 

 

“ Is this your room? “ Jennie asked

 

 

 

I nodded.

 

 

 

“ I stayed here before i was sent to Seoul to study “ 

 

 

 

Then she looked around and saw lots of picture frames in the table and hanging on the wall.

 

 

 

“ You have a lot of pictures huh “

 

 

 

I nodded.

 

 

 

“ My mom love to take pictures of me when i was young though i look horrible “ i laughed

 

 

 

 

“ You we’re cute “ she giggled and continued looking around.

 

 

 

Then Jennie saw a little photo book where there’s a lot of pictures of me when i was a baby.

 

 

 

“ You look adorable “ she giggled

 

 

 

“ Oh cmon “ i smiled

 

 

 

She continued looking for more then she pull out a picture and showed it to me.

 

 

 

“ Can i keep this? “ 

 

 

 

 

I look at it and saw a five year old me smiling brightly holding an oxygen balloon.

 

 

 

I was so happy that time and it is the first time that my mom bought me a balloon.

 

 

 

 

We were not that rich before and my parents barely buy me something.

 

 

 

As i reminisce those memories,

 

 

 

I felt Jennie slowly had her hands on my neck as she smiled at me.

 

 

 

 

When i look at her she was staring at me lovely.

 

 

 

 

“ You don’t know how precious those smiles are “ she whispered

“ Going back 5 years ago is such a worth the decision to be with you right now “

Then we both heard a slow music comes from outside which is probably my dad played it because he’s into this type of music.

 

 

 

He was into Labrinth and played See beneath your beautiful outside and i kinda missed him playing those jams.

“ I don’t know what to say “ i giggled as i put my arms on her waist and start to move my feet as we start to dance.

I smiled like i was so proud of myself and she giggled.

 

 

 

 

She tilted her head and smiled.
