BangPD has called them in for an emergency meeting and Jimin was worried. They had worked so hard the past few months for their album Map of the Soul: 7 to be dropped. The fan base grew beyond what they would have imagined and the sales and response was so overwhelmingly amazing, almost double their last album. Things were getting bad around the world, however, with the spread of Covid-19 on the rise.

He walked into the office finding himself to be the last to arrive. The members shook their heads with small amused smiles. Jimin sighed, they always expected him to be last. To be fair, Yoongi kept him up pretty late with watching movies.

Jimin settled into his seat and looked around at the other members. They were dreading the inevitable. There had been whispers around the company about the impending official cancellation of the tour but the members had long been dreading it. They all missed the fans and had worked so hard!

BangPD cleared his throat with a solemn frown. The room was completely still.

“I’m sure you have all heard of the Covid-19 becoming a pandemic that has been spreading all over the world. Due to this, we, unfortunately, have to postpone this tour until further notice due to health concerns for all of you, the rest of the company, and the fans of course,” he finally said.

Jimin’s breath was caught in his throat. So this was official? The word seemed realistic and they were waiting for it, but reality still came crashing hard. The other members sat dejectedly in their seats trying to hide their sadness as well.
