I shot up on my bed. I couldn't get to sleep. I took my phone from the night stand and dialed Hyoyeon unnie's number

ring~

"Hello! Hey maknae what's up?"

"Unnie where are you? I can't sleep." 

"Ugh... you might disapprove of where I am currently.  And it's 11pm. Aren't you usually asleep at this hour?" she said on the line.

"Please unnie..." I pleaded. I'll do my best not to get upset

"I'm at clubYolo. Yes I know partying too much will eventually take a toll on my body, but it's a great way to reduce stress. Why, would you join me?" 

"I...." I thought about this countless numbers of times but to actually act upon it has never crossed my mind.

"think of it as a rite of passage,  you know, just unwind a little or doing something once in your life" she said

"will you take care of me if things go south?" I seem really skeptical about this. But even if unnie is a party animal, she's quite responsible

"No problem. This club is also an exclusive club for tonight, no boys allowed, so that might make things easier, right?" Unnie still tries to convince me.

I hurriedly fixed myself while on the phone

"ok unnie, I trust you. I'll be there as soon as I'm done" 

I tried on a cute black cocktail dress.  I guess this will suit the place. I did my make up the way Sunny unnie has taught me, make up under 5minutes. 

I had a driver pick me up to go to that 'clubYolo' this isn't my first time in a club. We went to a club as a group a few years back, but it was strictly for promotions. This was actually my first time willingly going to one.

I feel so nervous and a bit excited. What will I do there?

I arrived at the club doors. The bouncers look really scary. Apart from them, the bar tender is the only male in this club. Good thing I didn't put on much make up. People might think I tried to hard to look good for girls. Hyo unnie did mention that tonight is a girl's night out event of the club. 

I entered the club and immediately spotted Hyo unnie on the dance floor

She forget to mention that she was also with Sunny unnie and Yuri unnie.

Yuri unnie might tease me. 

I looked over at Sunny unnie as she said, "go have fun kids, I'm just here for the booze. But hey, would you like some?" she held out a shot glass filled with what seems like vodka as suggested by the bottle on the table

I thought about this a million times before. I know the feeling of the drink trickling down my throat and the lingering heat it emits once it passes through. But since I have decided to come here, I know it is part of clubbing. 

I took the shot glass from her. I sniffed it and almost gagged at the strong alcohol smell at the same time it smelled sweet. I took a closer look at the bottle Sunny unnie was holding.. Artic Vodka, melon flavor. I shrugged and took another look at the shot glass in my hand and sipped it in on go.

As expected. It has the imminent lingering flames brought by the shot but the sweetness of the melon seemed to have quelled it, for now at least. It wasn't
