The rain was pampering against the window like someone trying to get in. I stared outside looking for some sign of the sun but all I saw was the rain falling. I wanted the sun because then I could feel like everything wasn't a dream. The last couple of days felt so unreal. I never thought that I would be able to let go of my past enough to let anyone inside. I still can't believe why he likes me, what is so special. He makes me feel like I'm floating on a cloud but any second it might vaporize beneath me. What if he doesn't wanna acknowledge me in school, what will I do. Everything such a big mess, I'm overthinking too much, and the rain doesn't make it better. Rain has always been like a sign that something bad will happen or already happened. Rain is when the sky is crying.

My black pants stuck like glue to my legs, and my shirt felt way to lose, like a potato in a sack. I had no time to change anymore. I already went through 5 outfits but none of them felt good enough. Either it was too big, or too small, to colorful or to black. Nothing was good enough, it never happened before. I never cared about what I wore, whatever I put on felt good but today everything was weird. I tried to brush my hair down, but no matter what I did it still was playing with me. My hair stayed as a bed hair whatever I did. it looked like I just got out of bed. Maybe the rain will do something.

I grabbed my phone next to my alarm clock. NO, NO, NO, I have to get out now or I'm gonna miss the bus. I don't even have time to check if I have everything I need. I ran down the stairs like a gazelle hunted by predators. Grabbed the keys on the table next to the door, I felt the drops of water hit me as soon as I opened the door. They were a constant bother, they were thin and cold against my skin as I fumbled with the keys. The keys slipped through my finger at least five times. Every time I got more nervous and it got even harder trying to lock the door. After what felt like forever I finally managed to close the door. Now I just gotta run, and I might be able to catch the bus. I turned around ready to run into the icy cold rain when I froze. I closed my eyes several times, making sure it wasn't some crazy dream. I really couldn't believe my eyes. He was standing in front of me. Leaning against his car with an umbrella in his hand.

"You're lucky I'm here or you would already have missed the bus with several minutes" He smiled at me. His beautiful smile shone brighter than the sunshine. He was so handsome. I really couldn't believe Onew actually decided to pick me up right outside my door. It felt like my heart would leap out of my chest any minute, it was so sweet. He smoothly got away from the car and moved towards me. His steps were s grateful. He looked like an angel heaven sent down to me on this sad day.

"Wh..a...a..a..t      a..re    yo..u   do..ing    he..re" I managed to stammer out. He really surprised me. Suddenly he stopped in his tracks and the beautiful smile faltered. What did I say wrong?

"I thought about picking you up, I thought it was a good idea. But if you don't want me to, I won't do it again" His hand gently rubbed his shoulder in a cute nervous manner. 

"Oh, no I was just so surprised, I really didn't think you were going to pick me up. I wasn't even sure if you ever wanted to acknowledge me..." I spoke everything in a fast manner, I didn't even know what to say I felt so nervous. I didn't even realize that his smile had returned and that he suddenly was in front of me. He let out a soft chuckle.

"The do you perhaps wanna get in the car, I don't feel like getting late for school" He really enjoyed my nervous state.

"Of course, I'm not planning on it" Before he could react my lips softly touched his cheek. I was going to take advantage of his shocked state and run towards the car. But I only managed to take one step before I felt a pair of strong hands grab my waist. I felt his hot breath against my ear, it sent chills down my spine.

"Not so fast, I don't wanna get my car all wet inside, we'll take the umbrella there" He whispered into my ear, it felt so nice. He released my waist but took my hand so didn't even have a chance to run, not that I really wanted to. He held me tight against him as we walked under the umbrella together. He really liked to play a gentleman he even opened the door for me.

Well inside the car I suddenly thought about something.

"How come you decided to pick me up. Doesn't Jonghyun usually ride with you"

"Key if you're my boyfriend, of course, I'm gonna pick you up as long as you want. I know you secretly envied that we got to take our car to the school" I felt my cheeks heat up a bit on the word boyfriend.

" Jonghyun got to ride with Minho today. I don't know if Minho decided to pick Taemin or not. He said that he would agree with it if we took turns to drive him, so some days we might have to stick out with him" I couldn't help but chuckle a little about Jonghyun in a car together with Taemin and Minho, and the part that he was like a baby. He is so stingy, demanding a ride from both people.

"Why doesn't he just drive his own car"

"That is actually a long and quite funny story."

Jonghyun POV

Why did I have to ride with Minho? I would have preferred Key and Onew. But no the lovebirds needed to ride alone. So I'm stuck with Mr popular football player and his little cute nerd lover. But seriously where are they, It's actually freezing and if they don't show up soon I'm gonna get drenched soon too.

"Jonghyun get ready to jump in, this isn't a good place to stop" I heard Taemin's voice from the rain, then I saw the car coming rolling forward. I was as ready you could get to jump into a car. The car slowed down next to me. I opened the door and jumped in before Minho even had the chance to stop.

"You know you could have waited until I actually stopped"

" Why you guys told me to get ready to jump in"

"I didn't mean literally to jump in" I could hear that Taemin was a bit surprised

"Then you could have been on time to, what took so long"

"I'm sorry there is something called traffick"

"Minho slow down this isn't a highway"

"didn't you just tell me I was to slow"

"You need to hit the brake or we're going to run into that car"

"I know what I'm doing"

"Taemin tell him to slow down, or we're gonna get into an accident"

"Please don't involve me in this"

"Minho accelerate and drive past that car"

"How can Onew stand driving with you"

"He doesn't drive like a madman so I don't need to tell Him what to do"

"I don't drive like a madman, If I did then it would be because I listened to you"

KEY POV

"Look it stopped raining" We arrived at the parking lot.

"Perfect then we don't need the umbrella when we go out"

"Do you think Minho and co have arrived yet" We stepped out of the car and looked around the parking lot.

"If I know Minho right so not yet. But pretty sure" As if on cue Minho's car drove into the parking lot. The car stopped next to our and Taemin came running out.

"Please don't let me ride with them together it is torture." I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"Onew how can you drive with him. He is trying to tell me how to drive all the time" Minho yelled at us.

"NO, I didn't I just told you to slow down a bit" I couldn't help but smile at their bickering.

"He just likes to be in control, don't listen to him too much. Key I gotta go see you later" He placed a gentle kiss on my cheek before he hurried into the school. Onew just left but I already missed him.

"Maybe we should get going too, instead of bickering out here" Taemin was the one who spoke up. We all hurried inside.

It felt like forever before lunchtime finally came. I hurried towards the cafeteria. I took my food and scanned over the cafeteria looking for some familiar faces but I couldn't see anyone. Weird they should be here somewhere. Suddenly I felt a pair of hands over my eyes. I almost got a little panic.

"Guess who" A sweet husky voice whispered in my ear. I could recognize that voice anywhere.

"Onew" He took away his hands and I turned to face him. I met that mesmerizing smile once again.

"we're sitting outside"  he took my tray with food in one hand and my hand in the other. He led me outside, towards a table in the middle of the yard. There already sat Jonghyun, Minho, Taemin and some of their other friends. When Minhos spotted us he waved. It was sunny outside now but the smell of rain still lingered in the hair. I loved it.

"So what do you guys say wanna hang out later" Jonghyun suddenly asked.

"We're in," Minho spoke it for both him and Taemin.

"I'm in if you wanna" Onew whispered to me. Of course I wanted too, I had nothing better to do home anyway.

"I'm in"

"Me too"
