“Annyeong haseyo!” the four greet a stunned Chaerin. She just blinks and opens the door wider and takes a step to the side. They all enter and she shuts the door. They take their shoes off and Chaerin leads them into the living room. EunMi quickly stands up and bows, smirking at Chaerin.

            “Youngmin oppa?” S.Me says, smiling. “What are you doing here?”

            “EunMi-ssi called me and invited me and Jeongmin hyung over. So, we’re here,” he answers her, smiling slightly.

            “Everyone, if you don’t already know, this is Sungmin and Eunkyo from Co-Ed,” EunMi says, smiling and motioning towards the two Co-Ed members standing there.

            “Annyeong haseyo! Unique and talented, we are Lilac!” the girls recite, Chaerin rolling her eyes and muttering the words.

            “Looks like the party has already started,” Eunkyo grins. “How about we pair up in teams?”

            “Teams? Good idea. Chaerin, you can be with Sungmin,” EunMi says, eating her popsicle. Chaerin’s eyes go wide. Eunkyo chuckles and looks at Youngmin and Jeongmin.

            “Youngmin-ssi, since you know…” Eunkyo trails off and looks at the girl, “Sorry. What’s your name?”

            “S.Me,” S.Me smiles.

            “Youngmin-ssi, why don’t you pair with S.Me-ssi?” Eunkyo asks, looking back at Youngmin.

            “Uh…sure!” Youngmin smiles and walks over to S.Me.

            S.Me is actually happy that Eunkyo pairs the two up. Even though EunMi said that she thought of Youngmin as a brother, she still thought she could like him in a ‘like like’ kind of way. She didn’t want to risk that.

            In Chaerin’s mind, she is freaking out. Eunkyo and EunMi always took the chance to get Sungmin and Chaerin together. Always. If Sungmin had a free day, EunMi would invite him over. Ok…so maybe Chaerin did have a slight crush on him. Slight. But, she wasn’t going to admit it – no way! She was above schoolgirl crushes and fawning over boys for the pure lust of it. She couldn’t do that. Not now.

            As she stands there, watching Eunkyo pair up everyone, she thinks to herself of how she can get out of this – or at least get away from Sungmin. He is standing right beside her, smiling and watching Eunkyo make a mess of the pairs and everyone’s names.

            “I better go get my zeppoles, anyone want to help?” Yoo Sawng asks, walking towards the kitchen, stopping and turning to the small group of people.

            Chaerin immediately shouts, “I will!”

            Chaerin hurries after Yoo Sawng as she enters the kitchen. Yoo Sawng grabs an oven mitt and opens the over, grabbing the tray and pulling them out.

            “I made them last night just for a snack. I’m glad I made a lot of them. I just heated them in the oven now. I hope no one minds,” Yoo Sawng says aloud, more to herself than Chaerin.

            Chaerin looks at the fried, square doughnut treats and grins. Yoo Sawng grabs the chocolate syrup from the fridge and pours it into a small bowl, putting it into the microwave and heating it. Chaerin loves when Yoo Sawng cooks, not only because Yoo Sawng cooks good, but because Yoo Sawng likes to cook American food and Italian food.

            “So, what’s up with you and Sungmin anyways? EunMi seems to want to get you two together,” Yoo Sawng says to Chaerin, who is still staring at the treats.

            “Nothing. EunMi and Eunkyo both think that I like him and that he likes me. Obviously he doesn’t and I don’t. End of story.”

            “How do you know that?”

            “How do I know what?”

            “Nothing. Never mind it.”

            Yoo Sawng stops the microwave before the timer goes off. She takes the small bowl of chocolate sauce from it and shuts the microwave door again. She has Chaerin place the zeppoles on a big plate. After they finish preparing it, Chaerin carries the plate and Yoo Sawng carries the small bowl.

            “Rin, do you need help?” Sungmin asks, looking at her.

            “A-Aniyo,” she says, forcing a smile and passing by him to set the plate on the coffee table – it has been moved over by the side of the TV.

            EunMi and Eunkyo exchange looks and grin at each other. Chaerin sits the plate down and takes the bowl from Yoo Sawng and sits it by the plate. She puffs her cheeks, trying to mentally prepare herself for this ‘party’.

            “Where is the rest of Boyfriend?” Bae Kyon shyly asks Youngmin and Jeongmin.

            “Kwangmin and Minwoo are sleeping in. Donghyun hyung and Hyunseong hyung have schedules,” Jeongmin answers her, smiling.

            “Oh,” she responds, nodding.

            “Who is going first?” Eunkyo asks. “Oh! Yoo Sawng, you are paired with Jeongmin.”

            “Arasso,” she nods and walks over to Jeongmin and stands by him. He smiles at her and bows slightly. She grins and bows slightly back. She isn’t too fond of him – or any of Boyfriend for that matter – but if she has to pair up with him, she will.

            Sungmin and Chaerin take a seat on the couch nearest them. Chaerin – for once in her life – felt awkward. She just looks around, watching the others trying to decide who goes first.

            “We’ll go first!” Eunkyo says loudly, pulling EunMi up with her and grabbing two of the Wii remotes. “We challenge Vizio and Bae Kyon!”         

            Bae Kyon and Vizio stand up.

            “Then Chaerin and Sungmin can challenge whoever they want and we will go from there!” EunMi says, handing two other Wii remotes to the other two girls.

            While the girls start dancing, Sungmin decides to talk to Chaerin.

            “I heard that you are going to be changing your hair color next week,” he says, awkwardly starting the conversation. “Have you heard what color they want you to dye it? I bet you’ll look different.”

            Obviously. Sungmin, you aren’t helping the awkwardness here! Chaerin says in her mind, puffing her cheeks. She looks at him and chuckles.

            “Ani, but I think they want me to dye it a dark brown with a red tint to it or something. I think it will look better than this black hair,” she tells him. “I think either Bae Kyon unnie or Vizio unnie may have a bigger change done to them. Or EunMi unnie. They may cut all her hair off.”

            “I can hear you~” EunMi sing-songs and keeps her focus on the game.

            Sungmin chuckles and looks at the girls who are dancing. In his mind he was thinking of what else he can say to talk to Chaerin. It usually wasn’t this awkward. Then again, when did ever get to talk to her long enough without either EunMi or Eunkyo interrupting him and saying he is flirting.

            Jeongmin, all the while, has been glancing at Chaerin. He met her during her final trainee years (and his) and has been trying to actually talk to her ever since then. She seems pretty cool…and pretty. Why would she ignore him whenever he is around? Maybe flirting with another girl would draw her attention. The only other girl he actually knew in the room is EunMi. EunMi! A plan starts forming in his pretty boy head and he smiles.

            “When is Co-Ed going to have a comeback?” Chaerin asks Sungmin after a few seconds of thinking.

            “Hopefully soon. Our manager has mentioned it but nothing is official yet,” Sungmin answers. He smiles and looks at Chaerin. “I look forward to Lilac’s debut. You still haven’t sang in front of me yet. You owe me that, remember?”

            “You’ll hear me at our debut.”

            “We win!” Vizio and Bae Kyon shout together, Vizio jumping up and down and Bae Kyon laughing. The two hug and stick their tongues out at their competitors. Eunkyo and EunMi hand their Wii remotes to Chaerin and Sungmin. They aren’t sore losers, but they are looking forward to the next contestants.

            “Who do you two choose as your components?” EunMi asks, grinning at the pair.

            Chaerin looks at Sungmin, who shrugs, and she looks back at the other pairs.

            “Yoo Sawng unnie and Jeongmin,” Chaerin smirks.

            Jeongmin took this as Chaerin noticed him finally, but Yoo Sawng knew better. Yoo Sawng is a talented dancer and Chaerin is competitive. Chaerin stands up and motions for Yoo Sawng to stand up.

            “On ‘Team SungRin’ are Sungmin of Co-Ed and Chaerin of Lilac, the amazingly talented dancers! On ‘Team JeongSawng’ are Jeongmin of Boyfriend and Yoo Sawng of Lilac, the talented singers!” EunMi shouts, holding the TV remote up to as a microphone.

            Chaerin’s eyes go wide at the ‘SungRin’ and she turns to them. Sungmin blushes and faces the TV, making sure no one sees. Jeongmin laughs and pulls Yoo Sawng up with him and they take the other Wii remotes from the previous winners.

            “Do not bash EunMi’s couple names! She isn’t the best at couple names,” Eunkyo says, holding up her own ‘microphone’ – a zeppole. She takes a bite of it afterwards and gives an eyesmile.

            EunMi winks at her dongsaeng and Chaerin turns back around. She glances at Sungmin, who is staring at the TV. Yoo Sawng chuckles seeing the nervous ‘couple’.

            “What song?” Jeongmin asks.

           “Any one of them is fine with me. What about you, Sungmin oppa?” Chaerin asks, looking at Sungmin. He just shrugs and tries to act cool.

            EunMi, you will pay for this awkwardness. Pay, I tell you. PAY.

I go and read the comments while I am typing the next chapter and I'm all, "She predicted it. Crap!" I need to step my game up with this. *rolls up sleeve* I'm ready to face le challenge!

    In this chapter, I focused on mainly Chaerin and her little 'crush' or whatever we will call it. In the next chapter, I am slowly moving from her to someone else's little crush. Anyone wanna guess? *coughMIKUNNIEcough* ^^;
