September 2015, Three days before Chuseok

“3, 2, 1, say cheese!”

There were cheers and whoops from the cast and crew of Sassy Go Go after the final group picture was taken. They had finished filming the entire series, and everyone was glad that it made it in time for them to take their Chuseok break.

“Kamsamida…”

The cast and crew thanked each other and congratulated on a job well done as they made their way back to their dressing rooms or sets to pack up and clear out back home. Eunji, for one, was glad to be heading back to her Apink dorm. She missed her girls and her bed.

“Hey Eunji! Have a good break!”

“Hey, you too Won-Guen. Stay friends, ya?” Eunji responded as she gave Won-Guen a tight hug. She was glad for the friends she had made during this filming. They all just fell into an easy friendship, which made the long nights so much more enjoyable and the tiredness less draining. Eunji knew that she would definitely miss them.

Eunji turned and also gave Jisoo a huge hug. “Thanks for your friendship, Jisoo! So blessed to have known you.”

“Same here.” He released her and gave her a wide smile. “I’m sure our paths will cross again. Take care!”

Eunji waved bye to the two best friends as they left, dragging their small luggage with them.

Hakyeon stood at the side with his arms spread out, looking at Eunji, pouting. “Ya, such huge hugs for them but totally ignored me?”

“Ha, who says you deserve such hugs,” Eunji retorted back, giving Hakyeon a punch on his shoulder.

Hakyeon clutched his shoulder, feigning a hurt look. “Eunji…” he showed her the disconnecting fingers.

“Ya…” Eunji said to him loudly, but could not help a smile forming on her face.

Hakyeon sobered up and took out his phone, clicking through. “Anyway, have you decided whether you’ll be heading home for Chuseok yet? My mum is so happy that I finished filming early that she is demanding I head home tomorrow instead of the next day.” He looked up from his phone at Eunji. “So I’ll likely be taking the afternoon or evening train. Do you want me to book for you too?”

“I have decided to head home,” Eunji replied. “I miss my omma.” She frowned. “But heading back tomorrow…” Her voice trailed off.

Hakyeon looked at her and shrugged. “If you want. It’s just deciding between 5 hours of boredom on the train or 5 hours of pure fun and entertainment with me.”

Eunji rolled her eyes. “Your self-confidence ever ceases to amaze me,” she told him sarcastically.

Hakyeon just smiled smugly at her, making Eunji start to giggle and eventually erupt into her laughing fit.

“So?” Hakyeon asked, laughing along as she clung onto his arm, also laughing. “I’m gonna buy now.”

“Oh gosh,” Eunji composed herself. “I’m really not sure yet, Hakyeon. How about you buy your ticket first and I’ll text you tomorrow if I’ll be joining you. Don’t hold out because of me.”

Hakyeon frowned. “Are you sure? Train tickets will be selling out fast, you know.”

Eunji nodded. “I’m sure. Don’t worry about me, I’ll find another way if the tickets sell out. Your omma is asking for you and miss you, so don’t disappoint her.”

Hakyeon shrugged. “Okay then,” he said as he turned to his phone to make the purchase. “Don’t forget to text me!”

Eunji smiled at him. “I won’t. I’m not old like you,” she added teasingly.

Hakyeon looked up from his phone, his eyes widened in shock and mock anger. “Eunji-sshi. How can you say such things to your elders!”

Eunji burst into laughter again.

September 2015, The next day

Eunji sighed as she tossed and her bed. She returned back to Apink’s dorm the night before, and had a good night’s sleep. Now that it was bright and she was well rested, Eunji dreaded having to think and decide what she was going to do for Chuseok.

If I go with Hakyeon today, am I ready to shut the door on In Guk?

But if I go tomorrow, am I really ready to give it another go?

Eunji hated to admit it, but a certain floppy-haired, smiley guy that she developed such an easy friendship with, was starting to make her feel things. Things that she thought only In Guk could make her feel.

Oh Eunji, what are you gonna do???
