Yerin operation was going well and her conditions are getting better. But she still weak due to the medicine that she got from the operation time

"Eomma, you should go home and check on sisters at home. Beside you've been her for about three days already. You must be tired" Yerin said weakly

"Are you sure that you're ok, staying alone here?' Sowon ask in concern

"I'm sure eomma. Beside there's lot nurse at here to help me. Poor my sisters, they have to prepare everything by they own"

"I'm kinda worried about your sisters too actually. Ok then, I'll going home now but I'll be back maybe on evening ok"

"Ok eomma. Take care on your way"

"Ok, bye" Sowon kiss Yerin head softly and get out from the ward 

On her way out, she met Seokjin at the front door while bringing a basket of fruits. Seokjin caught her presence,smile brightly 

"Sowon ah, are you going home already? How's Yerin?"

"Yea, I'm worried about my other daughters. Yerin's fine, just a bit weak and tired after the surgery. What are you doing here by the way? Are you visiting someone?"

"Yea, I want to pay a visit Yerin. Can I?"

"Of course you can" Sowon chuckle a bit 

"Oh, want me to send you home?"

"No, it's fine, I can take a cab"

"You sure?"

"Yea, uhm Seokjin ah. Can you please promise me that you'll not tell Yerin about her appa in past? I don't want she know that thing"

"Why? Sowon ah, she's the eldest and she deserve to know. And beside, until when you want to hide this to them?"

"I don't want them to know about their appa bad side, since it was a past. Past is past. He also has died and I don't want to tell a bad story about someone who has died" Sowon saidband Seokjin can just nodding 

"If that the thing what you want" Seokjin shrugged 

"Thank you Seokjin. I'll take my leave now"

"Ok, take care"

Seokjin watch Sowon till her sight was disappear from his view. He let out an heavy sigh before turn around and walk away heading to Yerin ward 

"I'm sorry Sowon, but I've promised Yerin first" he whisper to himself

Yerin was staring the ceiling above her with plain look. She has been thinking about what will happen to her on that night if Jimin wasn't there with her

While she's in deep her thought, her thought got disturb by someone knocking the door. She's look at the door direction and smile when she saw Seokjin peek his head through the door

"Hi uncle, come in"she said warmly

"Hi Yerin, how do you feel after the operation?"

"Good, just sore in a few parts. That's all"

"Glad to hear that. You want fruit?" Seokjin asked as he take a sit on the chair next to Yerin bed

"No, I don't have an appetite"

"Oh, ok. I'll put it here then" he put the basket that fill with fruit on the small table and Yerin right side bed

"Uncle, I've pass that surgery. So I can know about appa right?" Seokjin nodding 

"Actually, your mother didn't lemme tell this to you but since I've promised to you, I have to disobey her. Ok, from where did you wanna know?"

"From the start"

"Ok, me, your father and your mother are used to be a best friend. We're really close to each other, and there's word said that a woman can't befriend with a guy since there'll be involve another feeling between them and it's really happened to me. I admit that I've been liking your mother since we're still a best friend. In fact until now. But she however, like your father instead and it cause me to not confess to her about my real feeling. I let her go with your father. And when I continued my study at abroad, I got a news that your father wanna marrying your mother. I actually ran to study there was because I want to avoid them. I couldn't take it seeing they're being sweet and loving toward each other. So when I know about your father want to marry your mother, I just accept it openly since I know how big your father love is toward your mother" Yerin listen to want Seokjin said so focuses 

She felt so tired and weak awhile ago but after hearing Seokjin story about her parents love story, it make all those feel lost at all 

"On their first stage of marriage they're living happily and plus with your born it make their life change into colorful one. Your father have a job and your mother are staying at home. Maybe you're weird about how did I know about all these right?" Yerin nodding. Then with chuckle he said

"I actually hired someone to watch over your family activities since I starts felt a doubt toward your father. I know he didn't study high and his job are also not giving a big pay. So I kinda worried about your mother welfare. Plus with your siblings amount are getting bigger. Blame me for that, I shouldn't have felt doubt on your father after he take good care of you guys really well. But suddenly comes unsatisfied feeling in my heart. I want Sowon to feel lucky to have Namjoon as her husband, I want her to feel living in wealth even though I know that's not my task to make she feel all those thing. So I offers your father another job without letting him know about me as his boss. I let him work in my company and gave him kinda big pay for his new job"

"So you gave that job to appa because you're thinking about eomma welfare?"

"Yea, also for you and your other siblings. I watch how hard you guys life is. So that's why I'm giving your father help. I didn't tell him that it was me who gave that job for him, since I know that he'll not accept it. I know how stubborn and ego he is when it come about his pride. So I hide my identity first"

"So from there my stubborn and ego comes from?" Seokjin nodding to Yerin question

"It's all great and was going well until one day I announced myself as your father boss. He's start showing uninterested in work. When I asked if he had a problem, he just shaking his head. And not long after that, I met your mother at the grocery shop. You're still a kid that time. And I asked her number but she said she still using the old number and since I still saving her number, I call her. She didn't pick up my call. So on the other day, I text her and telling that was my new number, still no respond from her. I kinda worried so I asked your father on the other day if something was happening to her, he didn't say a word but just said that she's alright and don't want to talk to anyone. I just shrugged it since I don't want to interfere their business. Since I can't contact with your mother,  I asked about her through your father and since that thing too, I felt like he's starts acting weirdly. So I once again hired the same private investigator to watch over your family again. And from there, I find out that your mother are rarely going out from house other than sending your sisters to school and go to nearby shop"

Yerin think for awhile, Seokjin was right. She never saw her mother chatting with their neighbour before. Her mother life was only in the house, taking care the house, her kids and husband

"I dont know that she's got abused by your father at first since I can't saw any sign of your father did that to your mother. And beside he love your mother so much so thinking about that was something impossible. But the things starting became more weird when suddenly your father quit from his job, his excuse was because I scold him for not doing his job properly. He even spit on my face before leaving the office. My private investigator said that after he's quitting, he tried to find another job but je couldn't find one. And with shameless face, I met him and asking for him to work for me back but he decline it, he even accused me being a reason why he didn't got another job. Why would I do that to my own best friend right? But he didn't trust it. He push away my offers"

"So that's why appa always come home more earlier than usual? Because he quit from his job?"

"Yea, because of instability financial, your mother had to find a job. But as you know, she's not study till college or any high education centre. So nobody want to hire her, I met her again for second time since I come back to Korea. That time she was sitting on the bench at the roadside, I stop my car and asked her what she's there instead of at home. And she said that she was looking for a job. I offers her to be a manager in y company but she's decline it by saying that she's unqualified for that position. She's asking for a janitor position instead, I didn't let her to work that since she was my best friend but she said if I don't want to hire her as a janitor, she'll decline my help offers. I don't want to see her walk far just to find a job, so I just accept her as a janitor"

"You must be met her everyday right after that?" Yerin ask coldly

"No, if you think that, you're wrong. She's always avoiding me whenever I try to approach her. She said that I'm not her best friend anymore, I'm just her boss and nothing more. I weird on what she just said, so I met her closest friend, Jihyo who are also work as janitor. She didn't wanna tell me about Sowon at first but I managed to make she talk about it. And from her, I know about everything that your father did to her. I know about her being a abuse victim by your father"

"After you knowing that, don't you try to help eomma uncle?"

"I tried. I asked her to just asking for a divorce but she didn't want it. Wanna know the reason?" Yerin nodding 

"The reason is just one. Because she don't want you and your siblings living with incomplete family. She also can see how love you guys are to your father. And seeing your father didn't touch or hurt you at all, she's still be patience"

"So she just let herself being appa victim, because of me and my sisters?"

"Yea, she said. No matter how hurt the pain she got from your father hit is, it's nothing compare to the happy feeling that she felt while watching you guys grow up. Her pain was fade away when they hear, saw and hear you guys antic. She's endure the pain just for you guys. She's held herself for those thing about few years. She held and keep it for herself alone. She didn't let you guys share that pain"

Hearing what Seokjin said, Yerin tears was bursting out from her eyes. How cruel she is as a daughter. After all those hardness her mother felt, how can she added it after her father death

"And after your father died, I thought that she'll feel an happiness or at least felt safe but to my disappointed. She's not. Her pain was being replace with you and your sisters cold antic. She has to endure the pain that she got from your father and once he died, you guys replace it with the new pain. What would you think she felt?" Seokjin ask as himself was about shedding his tears

Thinking his own best friend that he love so much felt those pain and hurt are enough make he felt sorry for the latter. He also thinks that what if it was his mother who through those thing

"I'm such useless and rebellious daughter. I even taught my other sisters to give eomma cold war. I fail uncle, I fail. I fail in being good daughter and sister. I fail" Yerin said while sobbing 

"Yerin ah, someone fail, will not always fail. And someone success, will not always success. You still got a chance my dear. Grab this second chance that has God gave to you. Redeem back the bad thing that have you done"

Yerin nodding to Seokjin words

"And there's another thing that you should know about your youngest sister, Umji"  Seokjin words grab Yerin attention

Sowon was about to open the door when she suddenly heard her second daughter voice are shouting. Feeling worried about that shout, she's rushed get inside the house

"Eunha?" She called but her eyes wide opens when she saw her second daughter was slap her youngest daughter repeatly all over her small body

"Unnie stop! You're hurting her!" SinB shout, try to stop Eunha but the latter seems like too into with her wrath 

"Eunha stop! Why did you hit your sister?!" Sowon pull Eunha away from Umji then brought Umji into her embrace and calling the baby to stop crying 

"Shes ruined my phone!" Eunha said while pointing at her phone who are it screen was cracked on the floor

Eunha put her phone on the table at the living room before heading to her room and change her school uniform, Yuju was not at home that time because she's going to shop for awhile to buy something so she leave SinB and Umji at home

Being a baby Umji is, she's crawling toward the table and want to take a book from the table but her eyes caught her older sister gold iPhone7 instead

Feeling attractive to that gold communication device, she grab it and pinch the button of that device. SinB was in bathroom that time, so Umji took that advantage to sneak out from her room and crawling to living room 

Seeing nothing was happen to that thing, Umji knocked that phone to the edge of that table repeatly till cause the screen cracked. Eunha who just get out from her room wanna pick her phone, shouting when seeing how Umji knocked her phone to that table  

Without thinking long time, Eunha rushed to her lil sister, snatch her phone and slap her sister harshly. That phone was a gift from her beloved boyfriend 

"It just a phone Eunha" Sowon said softly and try cooing Umji to crying

"It's an expensive phone! Who's gonna replace it? You?! You're not afford it!" Eunha said harsly

"Whatever the reason is, it doesn't mean you can hit your sister like that" Sowon still try to be patience with Eunha, even though she's hurting with what just Eunha said 

"She's not my sister!" *slap!* Sowon can't control it anymore, she can't accept it when someone from her family tell her that Umji was not a part of her family. She couldn't accept it

"Watch your mouth Kim Eunha! She's your sister!"

"No! She's not my sister! You're crazy woman till you can't accept that she's not your real daughter!"

"Enough Eunha! She might be hear you! Even though she just 6!"

"Let it be, let her know that she's not the real member of this family. Hey Umji! Listen here! You're not this family member! You're just a kid that my father pick from a roadside! You're a trash!" *slap* once again Sowon slap her cheek

She never laid her palm on Eunha cheek before because she love her second daughter but this time, she has gone too far till Sowon couldn't take it anymore 

"Get out from this house if you hate this family that much!"

Eunha look at her mother with wide eyes, she can't believe it that her own mother chased her out just for a kid that not even her flesh and blood

"Ok, fine! If that what you want! I'll leave this old house and don't you dream I'll come back!" With that Eunha get inside her room and pack all her clothes

Sowon just watching her daughter pack her things and get out from the house. She couldn't handle it anymore, she has done with Eunha behavior. If freedom that Eunha asking for, she'll give it to her 

"Eomma,will unnie come back to us?" SinB ask while looking at her sister who are walking out from their house area

"She will. But let her find her own happiness first, let see how far her own heart will bring her" Sowon said and wipe a tears that come out from the corner of her eyes

Crying. That's her last tears that she'll shed for Eunha
