Flashback,

It was afternoon that time when Namjoon came home with anger clearly shown on his face. He's kick the door to open it make Sowon who was cleaning the room flinch 

He's put his work bag somewhere on the floor then threw himself on the couch while let out loud groan. Hearing her husband groan, Sowon immediately ran to get him 

"Namjoon ah, you're home already? Why? Are you not feeling well?" Sowon ask in concern.Even though he always hit and abused her, he still her husband. And she have to respect him

She try to touch Namjoon's forehead to check if he's fever or not but to her surprise, he yank her hand away roughly

"Don't touch me!" He said harshly 

"I-i just want to check whether you're sick or not" Sowon said fearfully make Namjoon laugh bitterly

"Why? If I'm sick, I'll die and you'll have a great time with your boyfriend?" 

"N-no! That's n-not w-what I mean"

"Whatever, I've quit for my job" he said calmly as if he just did a small mistake

"W-what?? But why?" Sowon ask in shock

"Because I can't hold it anymore working under that heartless boss like him! All he did is just give me a trouble and head ache!"

He quit because Seokjin scold him for not doing his job properly awhile ago. And on that time, Seokjin unconsciously mentioned about he gave Namjoon that job was because he feel poor for Namjoon and his family

It make Namjoon felt unsatisfied, he felt like he's a useless head family in front of Seokjin. Without thinking for long time, he just quit right away. And he even spit onto Seokjin face before walk away

"But you must be did something wrong, that's why he's angry" Sowon try to said it in soft tone, afraid her husband will get mad

But being an hot tempered Namjoon is, he's sat up straightly then pull Sowon hair in his strong grip. Sowon held her hair and head to reduce the pain that she's getting used to it already

"Are you being on his side? Huh?! Are being in his side?!" Namjoon swung Sowon head while saying that 

"No, i-i just s-saying. Namjoon,it's hurt" Sowon cry in pain but Namjoon seems like didn't care about his wife cry

"You're just saying what? Huh?! You're just saying that he's a great guy? And I'm a useless guy?! That's what you're going to say?!"

"No Namjoon! No! Please let me go! It's really hurt!"

Namjoon scoffing then push away Sowon head and her head accidently hit the edge of the couch. He then threw himself back on the couch like nothing just happening

Sowon felt hurt around her forehead area, she touch it and found there's a blood stain on her finger. She's collecting all her energy then asking her husband 

"If you're unemployed, what will we eat? How the kids wanna pay their school fee?" She's asking slightly shaking in fear and cry

"You think if I didn't work for that guy, I can't feed my family?" Namjoon ask in slow voice but full with anger and unsatisfied feeling

"Our kids need a lot of money for their study" Sowon still say it even though she knew what will happen to her next

"Are you deaf??? I said I can feed you guys so that mean I can!" He push Sowon head roughly

"Arh! Staying in this house only make my Ind miserable!" He messing his hairs then leave the house

Little did he knew, actually SinB who are only 7 that time are watching the whole scene from a small hole that she open a bit from her door room

Since SinB are still in standard one for primary school, she come home more earlier than her other older sisters. And Namjoon forgot about that, he thought that his daughters are not at home yet

Right after the loud bang from the door that signing Namjoon has closed the door echoing all over around their house, SinB walk slowly out from her shared room with Yuju heading to her mother that crying softly on the floor 

Her mother didnt notice her presence at first since she was back facing her fourth daughter. SinB look at her mother pathetic condition with heavy heart

Her mother neat and pretty hairs are messy, her cloth are wrinkles and she also caught a small scar on her mother nape. She's not sure what has causing that scar but she's sure enough that was a burn mark

"Eomma" she called her mother like in whisper tone

Hearing her fourth and also the youngest daughter voice, Sowon immediately wipe away all her tears that come out from her eyes. And let out her most warm smile to SinB

"Yes baby, you've awake?" Sowon ask with bright smile playing on her lips

SinB ignored her question and just walk toward her with slow step. She's touched her mother bloody forehead with her thumb 

Shes frowning and look at her mother after look at her thumb as if she was asking what was that red blood on her thumb. Sowon held her hand, and smile softly

"It's nothing. Appa just tired and he's accidently pushed eomma. Don't worry ok"

"Did appa always push eomma?" She asked innocently and Sowon just shake her head

"No, he never push me. SinB ah, don't tell this to your sisters ok, they'll be worry and eomma don't want them to be worry" SinB just nodding her head understood 

Since that day incident, SinB always be a witness for those thing that her father did to her mother. She'll hiding in somewhere that her father couldn't see her since her mother asked her to do so

Take a peek through the small hole from her door, she saw everything. Almost everyday. She saw how her father push, hit, kick and slap her mother harshly and roughly

How her heart was jumping like crazy wanna help her mother but every time she watched her mother being a punching bag for her father, her mother will look at her and her eyes somehow was asking for SinB to just keep quiet 

And since that time too, she's starts feeling scare to be near to her father. She's scare because the father she saw during the day time when she's alone are really different from the father that she saw during night time when she's with her other sisters

She's start avoiding her father and will just quiet if her father asking her something. She'll only talking when  her mother and sisters are alone with her. Namjoon sense his daughter weird antic but just shrugged it off after found it's not a big deal to be care about 

SinB thought that after Umji come into their family, her father will change but no. Everything is still the same. Her mother still be a punching bag that her father use to let out his anger

It even be more worse when her mother starts work. Sowon has to work since Namjoon are unemployment and they have to eat

Since Sowon has nothing other than her certificate of completion of secondary school, nobody want to take her as a worker. Until one day, Seokjin came to her house and offers her to work for him

Seokjin wanna gave her a nice position at first but she refuse it since she knew that she don't deserve it. And she don't want to make the conditions between her husband be more worse. So she's working as a cleaner at Seokjin company

And then at there she met Jihyo, from just a normal colleagues. They're became a friend and from a normal friend they're became a best friend that know everything about each other problem

"Where are you from?" Namjoon ask as soon as Sowon step into the house

"Work" Sowon replied shortly 

"Work or date?" Namjoon sat up to look at Sowon face but Sowon just ignored him rolled her eyes

"Hey! Are you deaf?!" Namjoon pull her hair to make she's stop walking 

"I'm working!"

"Lie! You're having a date with him right?!"

"No! I'm working! Because of you're unemployment all responsibility was on me! So I don't have a time to have a date with other guy!" Sowon shout at her husband face 

"Oh! So you're know how to talk back now??? Who taught you that?? Seokjin???"

"Stop bringing him up into our argument! He has nothing to do with our problem!" Sowon yell, felt so annoy and angry with her unfinished jealous husband 

"Of course I have to bringing him up in here because he's bringing a problem to us!" Namjoon yell back 

"You're the real problem is!  You're not enough with your unfinished jealousy! Instead of feeling jealous better you go and find a job out there, you have a wife and four kids who are growing up. Think about your responsibility!"

"So you're saying that I'm neglected my responsibility??  And you're regret marry with me???" Namjoon asked while put his wide and big palm around Sowon neck before choke her

"You're regret marry with me????!! Huh?! Say it?!" Sowon can't answer him since she has lost of breath

"Appa, stop. Appa!" SinB come out from her room and punch her father legs repeatly make Namjoon loosening his strong grip around Sowon neck

He look at SinB with heavy breath. He didn't say a word and just leave them in the house. Sowon fell on her floor with her knees supporting her weight, she's breath heavily due to lack of airs

"Eomma,did you hurt?" SinB asked as she wrap her tiny arm around her mother shoulder

"No dear, I'm not hurt. I'm ok" Sowon let out her familiar warm smile to SinB

"Eomma, let's tell this to unnie. SinB scare with appa"

"We cant SinB ah, your sisters are all in their exam. So don't trouble them with this small matter. Ok" SinB just can nodding her head to her mother 

*End of flashback*

"So that's why you're always ran whenever appa try to give you a hug? Because you're scare with him?" 

Yuju ask as soon as SinB finished her story. SinB just nodding to her question. Yuju eyes suddenly caught her mother frame on the table

Their beloved mother was wearing a bright and happy smile in that frame. But who knows about the things behind that bright smile. Who knows about how suffer that she has covered with that smile. Who knows about the pain that she felt to let out that smile

"I'm sorry SinB ah, I fail to notice about what you have seen. I blame eomma instead for appa death. I'm such a useless daughter and sister, how can I did notice about eomma sudden change antic? How can I didn't see any mistake or fault at all on appa?" Yuju crying while thinking about what has her mother sacrifice for her and her siblings

"You didn't notice eomma sudden change antic because she didn't show it, she's using her smile to covered it. And you didn't see appa mistake was because you were being blinded by appa gentleness. Who'll believe it when someone as kind and as gentle as appa are actually someone who cruel and so heartless person. So it's not literally your fault unnie. It's a good thing that you've realised your mistake now, you still got a chance to redeem all your wrongdoing back then"

"You're right SinB ah, now I didn't weird how did you managed to got first place in your exam. You're so smart" Yuju ruffle SinB hairs softly and SinB just smile proudly 

"Ok, lets sleep now. We'll going to hospital tomorrow for visiting Yerin unnie. So we have to wake up early" Yuju said received a nod from SinB and excited bouncing from Umji
