Mina dropped her bag down on the floor and started scanning the room. She walked towards a desk and looked over a couple of picture frames neatly arranged on the top. There was a photo of the maknae line in one frame, a photo of Tzuyu with her parents and brother in another, and the last frame, which she had picked up, a photo of Tzuyu kissing her dog named ‘Gucci’. A smile spread over her face as she stared at it.

“This is so cute, Tzuyu-yah.” Mina said in a cute voice.

“I know.” Tzuyu proudly replied.

The two girls were at Tzuyu’s dorm room. Tzuyu was somehow forced to let Mina stay in, as the older had been keeping shut about what happened to her and Nayeon earlier that day. Mina told Tzuyu that she would only tell her about it if the latter let her stay in her dorm for awhile since its weekend the following day and she got nothing else to do.

“Take a sit.” Tzuyu said, placing the takeaway on top of her desk, Mina bought that afternoon.

Mina carefully put the picture frame back down to its place, then she stretched her arms and plopped down on Tzuyu’s bed, bouncing back a little due to force.

Tzuyu just shook her head, smiling a little. “Do you want to eat now?”

“Are you hungry?” Mina asked back.

“Not really. You?” Tzuyu said.

“Nah,” Mina mumbled as she pushed herself up a bit using her elbows as support.

“Okay then I’ll put this in the fridge first.”

After Tzuyu was done placing their drinks and cake in the fridge, she went back to sit on a chair near the bed.

“Chewy~” Mina cooed in her aegyo voice.

“Huh?” Tzuyu raised an eyebrow at her.

Mina sat up and crisscrossed her legs, “Come sit here,” she said while patting the space in front of her.

“MY bed is so comfy huh?” Tzuyu commented, but complied anyway.

“Sure is.”

“You are happy.”

“Am I?” Mina gazed innocently at the younger as if she didn’t know what Tzuyu was talking about.

“Mina, spill.” Tzuyu demanded, crossing her arms and giving Mina a fierce look.

“Fine! I accepted her apology and agreed to be friends.”

Tzuyu smiled, “How did it feel?”

Mina thought about it for a moment as she fiddled with her fingers. “We are taking things slowly…”

“And?” Tzuyu pressed.

“I feel like I am finally free.”

Tzuyu nodded, “Like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders?”

“Mhm… Thanks to you.”

“Why me? I only gave you a little push, that’s it. Trying to mend the broken pieces back together was your choice.”

“Maybe so, but without that little push of yours, I probably would have still avoided her.”

Tzuyu defeatedly raised her hands up, “Okay okay,” she said, making Mina flash her adorable gummy smile, which in turn, made Tzuyu show her cute eyesmile.

The two just stared at each other for a full minute, enjoying the comfortable silence and positive vibes both of them were emitting. It was Tzuyu, whose smile was slowly fading away, decided to break the silence.

“So... are we gonna stop pretending?” Tzuyu hesitantly asked, feeling a slight pinch somewhere deep down.
