“One of our classmates said I’m a third wheel to you two.” Chaeyoung sulked, pouting.

Mina and Tzuyu looked at each other, both chuckling. Mina draped an arm around Chaeyoung’s shoulders while using the other to mess the younger’s hair. “Aww this cute little baby,” she cooed, making Tzuyu laugh.

“Yaaaa Mina unnie!” Chaeyoung whined while pushing Mina’s hand away from her head.

“Didn’t I tell you? You should get a part-time girlfriend too.” Mina teased, wiggling her eyebrows. “I know some students who’d be more than willing to do the job.”

“I don’t want!”

“She prefers ~” Mina laughed as she untangled herself from Chaeyoung.

Tzuyu and Chaeyoung gasped. “Mina unnie!”

“I’m just kidding! Don’t kill me!” Mina yelped as she shielded her face with her hands.

The trio continued on with their playful teasing when…

“Nayeon unnie.” Chaeyoung whispered, looking straight ahead.

MiTzu both looked at the approaching figure, their demeanor instantly turned serious.

“I’ll go ahead.” Chaeyoung nodded at the two, then she waved at Nayeon, who waved back in return.

“We’ll go with you.” Mina said through gritted teeth.

Tzuyu held Mina’s forearm and whispered, “Remember what I told you last time.”

Mina seemed to contemplate about it for awhile as Chaeyoung walked away from them.

“Hi.” Nayeon greeted with a tight lip smile.

“Hi Nayeon-ssi.” Tzuyu casually replied while Mina just blankly stared at Nayeon.

“Sorry if I had interrupted something.”

“No, not at all. Is there anything we can help you with?”

“I… I just want to apologize for how I behaved last time.” Nayeon said, maintaining eye contact with Tzuyu.

Tzuyu shook her head, “No –“

“I’m sorry, Tzuyu. I really am…” Nayeon softly said, sincerity in her eyes and voice that even Mina softened after hearing those words.

Tzuyu smiled and said, “It’s okay. I understand.”

“Thank you, Tzuyu.”

“I hope we can all be friends, for the sake of Mina and our other common friends.” Tzuyu said as she glanced at Mina before looking back at Nayeon.

“Yeah of course. Don’t worry about Jeongyeon, I talked to her already.” Nayeon replied with a small smile. She then focused her eyes on Mina, who appeared to be preoccupied as they spoke.

“Is it okay with you if I talk to Mina for awhile?”

Tzuyu looked at Mina before answering, “Ye. Sure.”

That seemed to pull Mina back into reality as she looked over Tzuyu with a confused expression. Tzuyu gave her an encouraging nod and smile.

“Mina?” Nayeon called.

“Okay,” Mina nonchalantly answered. “See you later,” she told Tzuyu.

“See you, Tzuyu. Bye.” Nayeon said and waved her hand.

Mina and Nayeon started walking away from Tzuyu.
