“Lee Chaerin.”

She turned to the voice, “Who…? Ah you’re Seungri’s friend who talked to him before, right?”

Jiyong nodded, “I’m Jiyong, Kwon Jiyong.” He offer his hand.

First time he asked me to have coffee with him...

in that coffeshop around the corner...

Jiyong smirked, “Do you believe in love at the first sight?”

“No!” she grabbed her bag and stood up.

“Chaerin!” he grabbed her wrist. “Don’t go.”

“Let me go now, please.” She said.

“Please don’t go.”

“Let me go, you freak!” Chaerin tried to release herself.

First time he asked me to be his girlfriend...

in out third meeting...

“Chaerin…” he said, “Can I be your boyfriend?”

“Is this some kind of joke for you?”

When i finally said yes...

“Chaerin, please be my girlfriend?”

Chaerin look into his eyes, that clear brown eyes, she find herself swimming in that deep shining eyes. Like it or not, he’s been a part of her lately, and yes, she was panic when he’s not around.

Slowly she nods, “Okay…”

All was too well, till the day i found out that he's sick...

Chaerin suddenly stopped and that makes Seungri stops too. She was looking at a certain direction, to a figure of a medium tall guy, handsome face, cute gummy smile. A figure she’s been missing everyday in six months.

“Ji-Jiyong?”

The guy turns toward her, his smile bloomed.

“Hey…” he said.

 

Chaerin mentally slapped herself, she really want to really slap herself to make sure that this is real.

Jiyong standing there in front of the campus just like he did more than eight months a go.

“Ji-Jiyong?” Chaerin called him.

The guy turns toward her, his smile bloomed.

“Hey…” he said. “Lee Seungri!”

He walks towards him passes Chaerin who originally the one who called him.

“Jiyong…?” Seungri widen his eyes.

“Yeah! Still remember me?” Jiyong smiling widely, a gummy cute smile she misses the most.

“Y-yeah, of course…” he glance at Chaerin who is now as pale as the moon.

“How are you, man!” Jiyong hug Seungri who still stiff as rock.

“W-wha how y-you… what are you…” he tried to find the right words.

“Are you okay? Why you so surprise?”

“Because…”

“I know its been how long? Four years? Five years?”

Chaerin’s heart sank when she heard that, he didn’t remember he was here eight months a go.

“Y-yeah, that long…” Seungri who already knew everything from Chaerin suddenly feel sorry for her.

“I’m going to enroll here.” Jiyong keep talking without noticing Chaerin.

“You’re going to college?” Seungri asked.

“I know its really late, but I think I want to try college so yeah… even though I might take the advance classes, they said I could finish faster.” He explained. “Hey let’s have some coffee.”

“But I…” Seungri turned to Chaerin.

Jiyong finally realize her existence. He’s looking at her and Chaerin feels her heart is throbbing.

Suddenly he bowed, “I’m sorry I was talking to your boyfriend without realizing—“

“No! No! No! she’s not my girlfriend!” Seungri immediately cut him.

“Oh sorry… I thought…”

“Chaerin?” someone called her, she turned and find Dami.

“Unnie…”

“You knew my sister?” Jiyong look confuse and before Chaerin could answer Dami grabs Chaerin hand and drag her away.

 

“Chaerin… oh my God!!” she immediately hug her.

“Unnie…” she hug her back even though some part of her really want to be mad at Dami. “Unnie….” She started to cry.

“Chae, don’t cry…”
“Unnie, he… he doesn’t…”

“Ssshh…” she wiped her tears, “Chae, I’m sorry that I didn’t contact you. We lost his phone.”

“What?”

“Jiyong’s cellphone. We lost it.”

Chaerin gasped, She remembers that’s the only thing that could make him remember her again, “H-how… unnie.”

“My mom got robbed in front of the hospital when Jiyong is still on therapy.”

“Oh my…”

“I’m so sorry, Chae, I know it’s very important, moreover I was stupid I didn’t copy your number from there.” Dami always calling her from Jiyong’s phone. “I’m sorry…”

Chaerin couldn’t say anything.

“But I told my parents that if Jiyong wants to go to college he has to go here, cause I really hope he’ll meet you.”

“But he forget about me. he didn’t even realize I was there all the time.”

“No, Chae, he’s gonna remember you.”

“Did the doctor said that?”

Dami paused.

“The doctor didn’t said that he’ll remember anything he already forget, did he?” Chaerin asked.

“W-well, but the doctor said he’s really well now, he even able to run now…”

“Yes, unnie, physically. But he won’t remember me at all, right?” tears starts stream again.

“Chae…”

“Nuna, is everything okay?” Jiyong walked towards them.

Chaerin immediately turn away and wiped her tears.

“Yes, Ji, we’re just… being emotional because its been a long time.”

“So, she’s your friend?” Jiyong asked Dami.

“Yes, she’s my friend.” Dami replied.

“Oh, hi… I’m Dami’s brother, Jiyong.” He offered his hand.

Chaerin took it hesitantly, “C-Chaerin, Lee Chaerin.”

“Chaerin Nuna?” he said.

“No, no! she’s not a nuna! She’s younger than you!” Dami said.

“Oh sorry… I thought you’re older because you’re my sister’s friend.”

Chaerin forcing a smile, “Its okay…”

“So…” Seungri said. “Guess, I’ll see you around, Ji?”

“Wait!” Chaerin said. “Don’t you asked Seungri to have coffee? Why don’t we go together? I mean I also want to catch up with Dami unnie…”

Everyone looking at her, Seungri and Dami gave her a worried look.

“That’s a great idea.” Jiyong said.

 

They sat on a coffee shop, Seungri and Jiyong went order the coffee while Dami and Chaerin waiting at the table.

“So, he’ll be here for good?” Chaerin asked.

Dami nodded, “I hope you can be close with him again.”
