Chaerin checked herself at Jiyong’s car mirror once again before step out the car. She’s now in front of Jiyong’s house, not overrated but big and nice. Jiyong said since he already meet her parents, now is her turn to see his parents and she never been this nervous before.

Jiyong open the door for her and hold her hand, lead her to the living room.

“your hand is cold.” Jiyong whispers, “Are you nervous?”

Chaerin nodded, “Will they like me?”

“They will because their son loves you.” Jiyong pull her hand and kissed it gently.

She bites her lip while smiling.

 

“Jiyong.” Suddenly someone called him.

Chaerin startled to see a lady.

“Oh, mom,” he said.

Chaerin’s got nervous when she saw a beautiful lady that must be Jiyong’s mother.

“Mom, this is Chaerin.” He continues.

Chaerin immediately rose and bowed deep, “Hello I’m Lee Chaerin.”

A man joined them, she knew it must be his father, she bowed again, “hello, I’m Lee Chaerin.”

Both of them looking at her.

“So… this is the legendary Lee Chaerin?” suddenly his father said.

Chaerin confused.

Mr. Kwon smiled, “I heard so much about you.”

Chaerin tried to read the situation, she almost think that she’ll meet a ruthless parents like in the drama, but she was wrong, his parents are lovely.

And this perfection scares her even more.

 

They asked Chaerin to join them for dinner, and now Jiyong’s older sister, Dami is joined them.

Mr. Kwon is seems like a relax person, he’s talking to Chaerin in a casual way. He asked her about school, told her about how Jiyong is longing to be a student.

“And why is he not enroll to a university? I heard from my cousin that he’s smart.” Chaerin asked, she glance at Jiyong and his family.

Dami didn’t really say anything since the beginning, if there’s one person who seemed doesn’t agree with this relationship, that will be Dami.

Mr. Kwon just smiling, “Jiyong is following me move from one country to another, its hard for him to catch the curriculum difference between one to another, so I decided him to study at home.”

Dami suddenly sighed and seems so annoyed.

Chaerin started feeling uncomfortable, “But… I thought he was only live in Seoul and LA?”

Mr. Kwon paused, “you knew a lot about him…” he smiled.

“Well, just… my cousin was his close friend on high school, right oppa?” she asked Jiyong

He nodded, “Lee Seungri, if you guys remember him.”

"Seungri is one of my friend from high school, he came here several time sin the past, turns out that he got lovely cousin like her." Jiyong smiled.

Chaerin swear she saw Dami sighed and shook his head.

"And... uh Dami unni... are you also home schooling back then?" she tried to make conversation with her.

"Me?" she asked back. coldly. "No."

"Oh..." she met a dead end right away.

Chaerin peek to Jiyong and he was looking at her sister.

 

“As you said, your family is fun. They’re kind…”

“I told you they’d like you.” Jiyong said when he sent her home.

“Well, I love them all! But I guess I have to work harder to be better in front of your sister.” she's smiling.

“Dami Noona? You think she doesn’t like you?”

“I don’t know… she’s very silent…” she bit her lips.

“Hmm…” Jiyong paused, “She just not in the good mood I guess.”

“Really? It wasn’t because of me?”

He patted her hair, “No, she’s just…” he stopped, “you know you don’t have to worry… “

When they arrived, Jiyong park the car in front her house

"Thank you." Chaerin said, "Good night."

Jiyong pull her chin and kissed her.

"Don't leave me, okay?"

"What do you mean?"

"I know you're worried about my sister, but i can promise you that she'll love you once she knows you better."

"So you see that she's kind of cold towards me?"

Jiyong smiled. "She's... just worried."

"About?"

He shrugged his shoulder, "what matters is my parents loves you... and i love you." he said.

Chaerin smiled. "I love them and i love you too."

he pull her closer again and kiss her again.

She wants to sleep early today but what just happened in Jiyong's house is beyond her imagination.

suddenly her phone rangs. Jiyong.

"Hey..." she answer the phone.

"Baby, i'm home." he said, "You haven't sleep?"

"Not yet..." she replied.

"What are you doing now?"

"Just lying on my bed, doing nothing."

"Are you thinking about me?" he asked.

she chuckles, "I'm thinking about the meeting at your house just now."

"Still thinking about my sister?" Chaerin could picture him pouting.

she smiled, "No... i'm thinking of how lovely is you parents..."

"Good..."

"And it scares me, to be honest..." she mumbled.

"And why is that?"

"Because... you know... i just overthinking." she chuckles.

Jiyong didn't say anything for a while.

"Chae..." he said.

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry..."

"For?"

He sighed, "I... I..."

"Oppa?"

"I think you should rest now... i'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

he hung up the phone.

Chaerin, Dara and Bom is doing their assignment at the coffeeshop near their campus when Jiyong came.

“Hey girls…” he said while sitting beside Chaerin.

“Hey Jiyong oppa.” The girls replying while still busy typing on their laptops.

“Busy?” he kissed Chaerin’s head.

“I’m hungry, why don’t you take a break and accompanying me grab something to eat?” he asked.

“Later, okay, I still have to do some research.”

“15 minutes will do…” he said.

“10 minutes?” he grinned.

Chaerin stops and turned to him, “I’m serious here.”

Jiyong pouted.

“This is campus life, oppa, you don’t understand because you haven’t experience it.” She said.
